I wouldn’t recommend them based on my experience. I dealt with Alex throughout the recruitment process and found the communication to be disappointing. I was contacted about opportunities, asked to send my CV, and then received little or no follow-up unless I chased for an update myself. Even then, the responses were often delayed or vague.
I understand recruitment can be unpredictable, but keeping candidates informed is a basic part of the process. Unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience dealing with Alex, so I won’t be using the agency again.

I have had a great experience through the recruitment process with Venn Group. My recruitment consultant, Sam Cox, was really helpful she made sure I had all information for the roles suitable for me, she acted very promptly to answer my questions and even managed to negotiate a higher hourly rate of pay for me which I am really grateful for. As a new Locum I have had an excellent experience working with Sam Cox. From the outset, the recruitment process was smooth, professional and well-managed. Communication has always been prompt, clear and courteous, and I have never been left wondering where things stand.
What sets Sam apart is her personable approach. She makes you feel like a valued colleague rather than just another candidate on a database. She is always happy to assist, approachable, and genuinely invested in ensuring assignments are the right fit. Her encouragement, positivity and support throughout the process have been greatly appreciated.
The Nottingham City Council assignment itself was fantastic and provided an excellent opportunity to develop my local authority experience and work with a great team. Been with venn for a while, Finn walker and Alex tresnan aye the guys I deal with, never had an issue with the company. The guys have had me in long term work and answer the phone 24/7 is there's any issues. Good agency to get in with, would recommend.
