Terrible service

Originally booked with Toad parking but like many others were transferred to here when they closed had to pay additional fee of £10 on arrival told this was in their terms and conditions but as we hadn't originally booked with them didn't realize this. Transfer to airport OK but return was a nightmare had to wait over an hour at terminal 3 for pickup phoned numerous times and always just on its way. When we eventually got to the car park the car was in an absolutely filthy condition despite being reasonably clean when dropped off can't see how it could have been left in the multistory unless it's on the roof also number on windscreen seemed to have been crayoned on and aircon set to minimum when it was left on 20 don't see why it would be changed if car left inside. Had to go straight to the Asda garage next door to clean the car before we could drive it home would never use again

A Basic Disorganised Service

I booked a different car park for our 7 day trip but was transferred to this one by FHR.
The trip to the airport was fine if a little frenetic ‘driving like a rally driver’ down narrow backstreets, however, the return was a shambles, we phoned after collecting the luggage & outside WH Smith’s as requested, there were 18 people waiting & they sent 1 x 8 seater van, it took over 40 minutes to get collected from phoning, and again the driving was frenetic. The driver suggested understaffing, but it’s not what you want to hear or experience on returning from holiday @ 01.45am.
It’s also worth noting that the toilets were out of order on both the outward & return trips & this is a basic requirement for customers!
It’s a basic, disorganised service based on my experience and not one I’d use again ‘by choice’!

Stunk of cannabis!

When dropping my car off, the office and surrounding area stunk of cannabis. If I'd of had any other option, I wouldn't of left my car. There were a lot of people about, I assume all worked there. Very loud, swearing etc. The man who drove us to the airport seemed very nice and told us where to wait on our return and that pick up should only take 5 to 10 mins.

I called as instructed when I'd returned but after 15 mins, no car came. I called again and was told someone was on the way. The driver that finally showed up, had no idea who he was picking up and it turned out to be us and a family. His driving was dangerous and reckless. At one point he pulled out in front of a small lorry and it just missed us.
I would avoid this company! I called at 9.15am and it was 10am before I was back at my car! 45 minutes when the carpark is 5 minutes away! I am disabled and having being stood waiting so long, I was in agony! Only giving the extra star due to hiw nice the first driver was.

Do your Homework

Where do I start, fairly easy to find which was helpful, arrived to tell the staff member that I had a high security system on the car and was not happy to de-activate and was told i would have to pay £50 if i refused to remove the code, which I did.

Then we was asked pay an additional £10 to go through the gate there and back, i understand the other three passengers on board with us also paid £10, so £30 to go through a gate.

We returned today, and noticed strangely that the car had been driven at some point off the parking facility, we have a tracker in the vehicle and also our system tell us the last three locations the car has been in the last 7 days this is set up by myself.

I am currently in talks with the local police authorities regarding this and I will know in the next 48 hours from my tracking company when the car was used and taken.

The company can deny all they want, however data never lies and we will know soon and how to proceed., and i see another poster say how the driver drove like he was on Fast and Furious and this is not far from the truth.

So for now I would say a big no to using them, and I will update in the outcome of the tracking investigation.

MONEY STOLEN - do NOT book

Please DO NOT book with Vacationcare. I remembered after handing my keys over that I had left money in the centre of my car (approx. 10 pound coins). Whilst I appreciate I should have removed these, I would have hoped that any decent person, especially staff running a business would not steal. Upon our return from holiday every single pound was gone. Fortunately the guy behind the counter immediately gave us £10 back without any fuss, but I am disgusted that this happened in the first place. Staff are wearing jogging bottoms, no uniform, smoking and swearing - it does not fill you with confidence when handing your keys over. Wish I had read the other reviews before booking. If you are reading this, I strongly you advise to book elsewhere.

We have used Vacation for many years…

We have used Vacation for many years and can't fault the exceptional service they provide and the incredible price which is half the price of other operators in the area. Had to get home quickly on our return from holiday last April as my wife's mum was very poorly in hospital and we rang vacation to pick us up and explained the circumstances and they sent a vehicle and picked us up straight away and got us back to our car quickly for our journey home. Sadly my wife's mum passed away but we will never forget the kindness and understanding they showed us during that time. On a more cheerful note the staff are very friendly and down to earth which gives a pleasant and relaxed atmosphere and they always have our car ready at the office to get off straight away for the journey home and we've have used vacation a number of times since last April and will be using them again this Saturday 14th September. Finally, even during busy periods they really do their best to give you a parking space and we very much appreciate their brilliant efforts and fantastic service. See you this Saturday morning guys. Worst experience ever.

Worst experience ever.

Upon arrival was waiting in the minibus for long time whilst drivers stood in line having a cigarette, when asked how long would it be till we were leaving as flight time was approaching he said 'should have got here sooner'

Called after landing was hung up on, after ringing 2nd time stood waiting for pick up for 40 mins along with other customers, so many there wasn't enough seats in bus. 2nd bus arrived had to go to another terminal to pick people up.

Clearly driver was very stressed and swearing but drived like a lunatic, very unsafe. Did a dangerous U-Turn van stalled and engine wouldn't start. Drove up car park ramp like it was the walzers at the fairground.

Place stunk of marijuana, would never leave car here again.

Perfect experience

Great experience with them yesterday. I searched them to leave a review and also found a lot of negative reviews trying to leave a review.
They were fantastic, I used a few years ago and was the same. I know that next time I park at Manchester that they will be my parking choice.
Yesterday I had my flights totally changed and arrived about 3 hours later than planned at a different terminal, rang them once landed. They gave me instructions where to meet and 5 mins later were there with no extra charge. What more can I say. Top marks from me, and I left this review on my own accord and was not asked to write one. Thanks all at VacationCare

All fine

All fine. Yes, a little rough on the presentation front, however, they got us to the airport without any problem, and picked us up without any issues. Instructions on the pick up were spot on, collected us within 10 minutes of call in exactly the area the said. Clearly mentioned their page about the additional £10 per pick-up and collection (applies to all vehicles picking up from the airport).

Represented decent value for parking.

The worst service I have ever used for…

The worst service I have ever used for anything.

We arrived to drop off the car after paying £63 for self park rather than £53 for the company keeping my keys. I was told I hadn’t paid for self park and had to pay £50 to keep my own car keys. I paid this despite being furious as I needed to catch my plane and wanted to keep my keys. The mini bus that drove us to the terminal drove us at breakneck speed the entire way there, coming back was even worse we were seconds away from the car park and the man answered his phone and was told to go to terminal 3 to pick up more people. Then proceeded to pick up 3 more groups which was 9 people in total, advising us all the move up so we can all fit in even thought there was not enough seats. This was then followed by an illegal u turn in front of a police car. All in all the experience cost me £110 and it would have been cheaper to park with the airport itself. Won’t make the mistake again.

First impressions. Totally unprofessional. Vile, aggressive, abrupt attitudes from staff, particularly the female with blonde curly hair who rolled her eyes at me when she barked at me to stop the car when we pulled in despite a man telling me to park on the left. Transfer bus was old and fit for the scrap yard. Same woman pushed my hand out of the way when I attempted to lift the seat in front to get out of the bus
Wait for pick up was half an hour and then told by driver there was only room for 2 of us in the bus despite there being 4 of us waiting. Told “if you don’t want to wait then just get in” so we all crammed in. Massive health and safety issue as seatbelts couldn’t be worn.
The car stunk of cigarette smoke when we picked it up and we don’t smoke
Hidden £10 airport parking charge for all 3 parties in van
Would never use again. Would happily pay twice the price, that incidentally wasn’t cheap, to use a better company and I use the word company loosely.

We booked with this company for 1 night…

We booked with this company for 1 night only. They got us to the airport and back in one piece which is all we could ask for, however, upon collecting my car the stench of cannabis was overwhelming. I am not one to comment on what people do in their spare time but there’s a time and a place, being at work and driving other people’s cars is not it. Not to mention I had a child in the car.
Please do better.

DO NOT USE

DO NOT USE.
The driver we had omg dangerous driving from parking to airport. Thought we were going to go through windscreen. On arrival from destination instructions where to meet were vague they do not have any name of company on their vehicles so we were asking every mini bus not great.
Landed at 12 got luggage by 12.15 pm rung them god knows who were we looking for. Partner had to ring them again apprantley message wasn't passed on so didn't get picked up till 1.30.
On arrival at parking went to reception to get our key. We were told to wait as they were bringing the car to us. My partner had already seen our parked car and he said literally only a few inches either side how on earth were they going to get it out. So young lady went to get our car yep god knows how she got it out. My god she drove it like Sterling moss. I also forgot they want an extra £10 on top of wot we already paid for parking god knows wot for just got some quiet mumble as if they couldnt be bothered to explain wot for. Not impressed at all.
I will never use this company again.

Never ever again - stay away!

I really wish I had checked the reviews before I had booked and looking at the responses from the company following any negative feedback its clear to see just how unprofessional this company really is.

We arrived early morning to drop off our car and it was hard to ignore the smell of cannabis and staff members messing around like children in a playground. We were also a little surprised by the additional £10 charge, which when later looked, it was in the small print. When we purchase airport parking the price we pay is the final price so please consider this if booking. We arrived at the airport safe albeit the vans they use are a little battered and no company branding.

We arrived at the airport early hours of the morning for pick up and to cut a long story short we waited just under an hour for them to arrive which is appalling. After numerous phone calls telling us different stories that didn’t add up, it was very frustrating. We were stood in the right place, actually right by the barrier where vehicles entered looking out for the company but as their vans were not branded this made it even difficult. They claimed they were going to set off in 5 mins, 15 mins later still nothing. We called again they said their on their way and again no one showed up. Called 7 mins later and they claimed they came by twice but this certainly wasn’t the case as all vehicles were branded and picking up passengers and both my partner and I was checking with each of the drivers. I understand they may have been busy but there is no need to lie as this is even more frustrating especially when you have a 1 year old with you who’s extremely tired and just wants to get home.

When returning to their office, the staff behind became extremely abusive which was quite scary and to us which is not the right or professional way to handle things when a customer is expressing their dissatisfaction.

I really don’t know who owns this company but the bullies and liars that have been employed will soon make this company bankrupt.

I strongly suggest reading all the reviews before you choose here. If you want extra fees to pay, smell cannabis, naff vans, long waits and diabolical staff with no customer service skill and only abusive and violence as an option - this is the place for you. Scary old men drugged up is not who I want to be dealing with. For us, never ever in a million years, we will stick to our usual which is toad parking and jet parks who are amazing.

Cheap and cheerful, albeit on time. Dropped us of circa 100m walk to terminal 2 at ManchesterAirport.....wasn't expecting to walk. The Carpark is somewhat dilapidated, and the transfer van was rescued from the scrapyard; surprised its even passed an MOT.
The staff are in casual cloths...NO uniform, but efficient.
Charged £10 (hidden cost) for airport charges...could have been made clearer at the time of the booking!!

Q. Would I use again??
A. A resounding NO, pay a bit more and get a far more superior service...!!!
