Thank you to your team for being responsive on the online chat box and following up on a missed call to the help desk. I eventually spoke with Gil about a challenge I was hoping to fix. He explained how to resolve it, walked me through the process, ensured the QR links and Linkpages went to the appropriate content. He also went out of his way to inform me that the previous Linkpage was connected to other QRs and recommended I update to the newer Linkpage. During this process, he stayed on the phone with me while I navigated through all the links to ensure all content was working accurately. Thank you for the time and patience spent to ensure we had it smooth for our back end experience and our customer's experience.

New to Uniqode & Loving It!
I am new to QR codes and the team at Uniqode helped me the entire length of the way. From I created my acount a week ago to today. I had so many questions and they were all answered with respect and enthusiasm. When I met up a couple of issues — 1 of them being of my own making — I didn't have to wait not even 1 whole minute before HELP found its way to me. The website is easy to navigate, once you figure where everything is. So very easy. And the payment plan isn't too bad at all...definitely affordable for me and what I need it for. My favorite Customer Rep is Sir Gil. He is full of positivity, quick to help and always has suggestions. Thank you Sir Gil -- if I could I would buy you a cup of "fancy java" from Starbucks.

We were having issues with our account and the allocated amount of digital cards that can be created. Gil was amazing he helped out and answered promptly and was great at solving our issue.

Good customer service
Very easy to use software. Auto-renew can be turned off but when I had not done this and wanted to cancel we got a refund instantly. Great customer service.

I’m posting this as a warning to other small businesses. I’ve been charged once per year for three years for an auto-renewing subscription, which has added up to over $1,000, despite the fact that we haven’t used the product in years. The auto-renewal language was easy to miss and is buried in the terms and conditions, and there was no clear “confirm renewal” moment that matched the size of the charge.
When I reached out to support, they would not refund the past years. Highly unethical business practices.

Worst product ever — DO NOT USE.
Terrible service. I had made the mistake of thinking that a free trial meant "free generation of codes during said trial", but their business model involves hanging your generated QR codes over your head UNLESS you subscribe. This means that a QR code I generated during my free trial expired — and even though it's been printed on collateral, it now is a broken link. They will make no exceptions.
I wrote to their customer service to double check — because, surely, if a paying customer stops their subscription, it doesn't mean that all their previously generated QR codes expire? — but this is INDEED their business model. Quoting them verbatim: "As a subscription-based service, ending the subscription ends the service. That would mean the deactivation of the QR codes."
So, don't do it. If you have a Canva subscription, that already includes free QR code generation. Which I'm pretty sure will never expire, whether or not you stop paying in the future.

I wish there was a standard that gave more than 5 stars because in the was I would apply it to Gil. Best customer service I’ve had in a long time.,Pleasant, patient and very knowledgeable. He resolved ALL my issues I’m a timely manner. UNIQODE is quite lucky to have him representing you. Bravo Gil bravo!!

Would not recommend
Would not recommend. When we first signed up for Uniqode (as Beaconstac), it was great: relatively affordable, provided location information on QR scans, analytics provided as a CSV and in easy-to-read visuals.
After being bought by Uniqode, they continued to downgrade the benefits of our plan and almost doubled in cost. The main loss being access to lifetime analytics. Our benefits were downgraded not once, but TWICE. It became expensive to maintain our QR codes, and overall a loss.
Even after this, we continued to have a glitch where we weren't given access to our data according to our benefits. I had to reach out to customer support twice over the year to get access. Very frustrating. Ended up cancelling altogether. UTM's in combo with QR codes work just as well.
The one good thing: Customer support was very helpful and nice, and got me the data I needed.
3 years and now leaving
After 3 years with this company they adjusted their plan tiers and I will lose a lot of features that made them good to work with. I will be forced to upgrade my plan from an annual $180 a year to almost $550 a year.
This has made me jump ship!
Publishing on iPhone is a disaster.
Needed a digital card for a conference. Setting it up was easy enough, however trying to get it to work properly on my iphone was a disaster. You have to get additional software, they try to suck you into yet another micro subscription.
Ended up adding the basic card to my wallet. When I have ti I will get a proper business card organised.
The app has potential, just dont make it so difficult for the user.
Originally purchased the QR Code…
Originally purchased the QR Code product with custom domains a few years ago before the acquisitions. After renewing, they started limiting functionality and I couldn't use the custom domains anymore. Multiple calls to support said that they didn't support this anymore and would try to get me a refund. As they merger continued, they kept emailing me to upgrade, to which I responded that my custom domain issue was still unresolved. Now that they have this functionality again, they want me to sign up for $750 per domain.
Parvi said that the best they can do is offer me 50% because of my history.
I shouldn't have to pay extra for a feature that was originally included and taken away due to merger.
I have zero faith that Uniqode will provide and support the product they advertise and will not risk my business with their platform again.
System doesn't work
This is a Sales Driven service that does not work when you upgrade. extremely Sales driven - constant emails and updates, but completely unhelpful. Have paid $180 for a service that will not even allow me to log in. Looks like a scam.
Crooks
Signed up for a "free trial" under the assumption that the QR code I created would be usable going forward.
I had printed materials made and laminated using the single QR Code I created
A few days after I shipped the materials to my customers, Beaconstac sent me an email saying "my QR Codes have expired" and "If you'd like your QR codes to continue working when they're scanned, please upgrade to a paid plan."
Talk about a bait and switch!
What a crock of bull💩
Now I'm faced with the lose-lose situation of continuing to do business with the CROOKS at Beacsonstac (for life with this particular campaign) or spending thousands to RE-PRINT my materials that should have never been messed up in the first place.
EXTREMELY DISSATISFIED!
I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND Beaconstac to anyone and I only hope to prevent folks from using their service.
This is not how you do business and Beaconstac needs to be more forthcoming about their "free trial" and the fact that codes will not work unless you pay them forever.
I tried working with them directly to rectify the situation, but they were keen on not helping and screwing me over.
We are a small business and things like this can make-or-break a limited budget to begin with.

Very disingenous company!!! The 'free' QR code is suggested that it is free permanently and that IF you want to get MORE QR codes then you have to pay monthly. I didn't want any more QR codes and was happy with just the one. But now they have disabled the original free QR code and are CONSTANTLY sending emails suggesting that I pay for an upgrade!
