We bought a Bohmer generator before Christmas. It started once then went bang and wouldn't start again - no spark. They promised to recover at their cost, and keep issuing collection paperwork (3 times) to a Company which cant lift the package, even though we have been told they can. We have responses from 7 different people at Union Mart so its clear its very disorganised. We are about to cancel the order, and/or raise a Court small claims. After three months this problem has gone on for too long.

UPDATE: going to cost me £90 to send it to them..I have a generator i purchased less than 2 years ago, ive used it for about an hour, it s has packed up, the valves now need solving, union mart want me to pay for it to be returned back to base for a repair, great, 1 hours use for £499 , shocking robbery going on here, how many people are being robbed like this? And yes ok, they said they repair it, and how long before it packed up again and no warranty at all?? A item like this should last, its should reasonably be usable constantly for about 3 years before any faults come about, and certainly not with 1 hours use and needing valves!!!! what the hell, utter rubbish this is, dont buy these generators and dont buy them from union mart if you want to be lumbered with expensive postage costs and highly likely faults beyond the warranty. What should be happening is union mart should be collecting this unit and refunding me, and or offering a full replacement, if this dont happen im taking it to court, ive contacted trading standards already, its totally unacceptable product and customer service.

I will try to condense this horrendous experience!!!!!! First didn't work at all oil and fuel back out sent back (i live on a boat so generator is essential) despit alot of promises and me rushing send it back for next day replacement it was 2 days before i got it. It doesn't run properly, i don't want to send it back i want it fixed on my boat,not going to happen. Union mart send £20 and a new carburetor for me to fit??? Wt? loads more to this,but must add these generators are not designed to run on the new E10 petrol!!!!! (They do run on E10 but it will rapidly shorten life of generator) So why are they being sold? Im looking into getting a hefty refund or they can have it back. You've been warned....

This is the worst service/experience I have ever had
Bought a pressure washer and it developed a problem
It was returned for repair but went missing whilst on its way back to me... think it fell off the back of a lorry lol
A replacement was sent but when it arrived it really had fallen off the back of a lorry... it was seriously damage from being dropped FFS
This whole nightmare went on for almost a year with more phone calls than I care to remember and even more emails
Also numerous failed delivery & collection attempts and even mixing up my delivery address with my home address
I had lost the will to live by this stage so asked for a refund... this was refused so I had to start a claim against them through the small claims court
They dealt with this very quickly and efficiently... refunding me in full plus the court costs
Shame they couldn't have been this good with their service from the off
This was several moth ago so I hope they are rolling a lot better now than they did then but I would never go there again

Bought a generator as had no electric in caravan. On arrival generator would not start so had to return it.
Requested a new replacement .
Replacement arrived but was not a new one. Was the one I had returned which they told me had a bolt in fly wheel. Set generator up which started for all of 30secs then petrol and oil came flooding out. Extremely unhappy as was told a new generator had been sent. Will now be spending Christmas without electric and no hot water and unable to cook. I have now got to arrange collection of this generator. Will definitely never use this company again. Hope all their employees are enjoying a warm Christmas with a cooked dinner. Whilst being sat in a cold caravan unable to cook or keep warm.
Just want this generator collected and a full refund

I had nothing but a 100% positive experience of dealing with Union Mart when I received damaged goods on arrival. A replacement was sent out immediately and delivered only after a few days. Thank you, from one very satisfied customer. Paul, South Devon.

Awful customer service brought just under 2 months when suddenly would not start. Checked everything possible on machine spoke to customer service who said they would check it but had to send it to them at my expense as over 30 days at a cost of £100.00. Not worth the money fuel continually leaked out of cap. Happy to take money but will only liase through email after.
Also changed my star rating on their website from a 1 star to 5 star after submitted.

Bought a petrol generator from Union Mart UK through Amazon. Contrary to the information on Amazon, Union Mart UK arranged collection and instant refund for this item as it was faulty on arrival. Good service from Union Mart UK apart from supplying a machine that didn't work. Can't recommend the machine but dealing direct with Union Mart UK was reassuring that they would provide good customer service.

Following on from my previous review ( 1 star) with a bad experience due to some very un-helpful staff, Union mart got in touch straight away to apologise for the whole scenario and promptly rectified the issues. So hats off to them for that.

Very bad. We bought a pressure washer in March, needed for our business.
It is broken after 2 uses and we have called amazon and Union Mart for the last 5 months and the same story everytime getting nowhere.
This is a £700 machine we bought and want a refund.
We were asked on a number of occasions to send pics of machine, which we did and then was told they didn't receive the emails.
They did!!
We are at our wits end and are now going to go to civil court to get our money back.
Absolutely stressed to max with this company.

SHOCKING!!!!

So, the Wilkes petrol powered jetwash is easy to assemble and well designed. The machine started instantly and as soon as I felt the lance 'jump' in my hands, I knew that this machine had real power. I have used Karcher K4 products in the past but they are fragile, underpowered and glitchy. The Wilkes machine redefines the jetwash. This is true power!

The electric winch is much quieter than my last one. The tough nylon rope is much better than a wire one - no more cuts & splinters from a wire. Thanks Union Mart - I'll definitely use you again!

We purchased a 600 pound bohmer generator which stopped working straight away. We have tried sending emails and tried phoning and no response! Feeling worried that we will not be able to get this sorted.

Left it six months before leaving a review this machine is awesome, starts first time and the pressure is unbelievable miles better that any electric pressure washer I've had before, well worth the money

Pour l’instant je ne suis pas contant car j’ai acheté un groupe électrogène qui était à un prix livraison gratuite et je me retrouve avec des frais de douane de 386 € car cette entreprise anglaise n’a pas fait son travail correctement et essaie de fuir ses responsabilités en faisant traîner en longueur le processus de remboursement ce qui s’apparente à de l’escroquerie et je ne suis pas le seul dans ce cas

The product poses a risk of electric shock and/or fire because of poor build
quality and design The protective earth did not have continuity to the main
chassis as the paint/powder coating had not been removed, even though a
star washer was present, preventing a reliable protective earth connection.
When tested, no intelligent features were found in the circuit.
Additionally, the product was not compliant with the marking requirements of
the relevant standard. The product does not meet the requirements of the
Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016
I have been told by Union Mart to wait until they are ready for recall but unable to use . It is now 3 weeks later and no response. Not good enough. I would have thought Amazon would have sorted this out by now.

Union mart are selling cheap Chinese imports as a rhino winch which are extremely dangerous. When using for the first time the out button on the remote stuck and the main on/off button which should have stopped the which had no affect once the winch payed out all the steel cable it then starts rewinding it.I was up to my waist in seawater at the back of the trailer so didn't notice at first it was winching in if I had stood on one of the coils of cable I could have lost a leg or worse These are not a Rhino winch made in America they are cheap Chinese rubbish which could cause injury or worse if you must buy one buy one without the rhino sticker for much less.

Delivered quick, good product, used a few times now and pleased with the results.
