I ordered a 22inch loose wave half wig from Ulahair and received a defective unit with a clear stitching issue that caused excessive shedding. The hair quality was beautiful, true to length but the hair density was not as advertised (definitely not 200%).
What’s most concerning is that the company acknowledged the defect, yet refused to provide a full refund or replacement. Instead, they offered only a partial refund or a discount to purchase another wig. Expecting a customer to spend more money after receiving a faulty product is unacceptable.
I have since escalated the issue through Klarna, who had to pause my payments and step in.
I’ve attached photos showing the defect so others can judge for themselves.
Be cautious when purchasing—if something goes wrong, you may not receive a fair resolution.

I am absolutely in love with this hair! I got the France Curly Invisible Feather Human Crochet Hair Extension in 20 inches, and it has honestly exceeded all my expectations. The hair is incredibly soft, lightweight, and so comfortable to wear. It has such a beautiful texture and fullness that looks amazingly natural.
What impressed me most is how easy it is to style while still maintaining that gorgeous, fluffy curly look. I have had it installed for about a week now, and it still looks amazing with absolutely no tangling, which says so much about the quality. It’s beautiful, flattering, and definitely worth it. Receiving any hair from Ula hair as a Nigerian has been seamless. Their packages come with a lot of goodies and their hairs are the best quality! Mostly pure human hair that never sheds.

1st off I loved the hair! Shipping was fast and I had no issues with customer service. The hair was packaged rather nicely with including free gifts inside. Now let's get into the hair.... It was VERY SOFT and really PRETTY 😍 did I mention soft! It was true to length. Now it did have a slight odor, but nothing that a good wash couldn't get rid of. Installed this hair very easily without any tangles. Might I add it was my 1st time doing this style and I am not a professional, but this hair made it super easy to do. I order 2 Burmese curly 20 inch bundles in 1b. It had lite to no shedding and tangle. If some piece did tangle I would gently separate, wet and comb or brush through. I went on vacation in this hair and each night I would take 6 chunks and wet them down with water and some leave in conditioner and twist them up and put my bonnet on. In the morning untwist spritz, fluff, and go! This hair is a must try!

The hair is incredibly gorgeous and soft! I received a 20 inch wig and feather crochet hair which is true to length. The hair barely sheds and I’ve received a lot of compliments on the hair. The hair did come with a bit of a smell however washing it with shampoo and conditioner will remove the smell

⁷I purchased crochet hair and a half wig a week ago and status says it's waiting for shipment. We are way past the 3 to 6 day shipping. I've sent several messages to find out why it hasn't been shipped and no reply. I need this order for my vacation that's coming up next week. Im upset because I haven't gotten a response.

UPDATE
I initially had a frustrating experience because my order had not shipped and communication was slow. However, after following up and leaving a review, the company responded quickly, explained the delay, and upgraded my shipping to FedEx at no additional cost.
My order has now been shipped and is on the way. I appreciate the effort to resolve the issue and will update my review again once I receive the hair.
4 stars based on customer service attempting to resolve my issue.

Update 4/3/2026
Purchased 22in loose wave half wig 200% density and 18in loose wave feather crochet hair 145-155g

Crochet hair- true to length,weight, beauty texture. Gives soft beach wave when wet.

WIG- True to length, soft beach wave once wet and quality is soft.
Density- Not 200%

However, the construction is not great. The density is definitely not what’s advertised. It looks much thinner than expected, especially toward the front.
The tracks are placed poorly and are visible near the front of the wig. There are also short 1/2-inch pieces sticking out across the front, which makes it hard to style naturally.
I also believe the comb placement is off, which affects how the wig sits and contributes to the tracks showing.
Overall, the hair itself is nice, but the wig construction needs improvement. I would not consider this true to the listed density. I recommend the crochet hair but not too happy with my wig.

4/28/2026 - ⭐ 1 Star – Defective Product & Unacceptable Resolution
I ended up having to open a dispute with Klarna because there is a clear stitching issue that causes excessive shedding, and the density is not as advertised (definitely not 200%).

Instead, they only offered a partial refund or a discount to purchase another wig. Expecting a customer to spend more money after receiving a faulty product is unacceptable.
I escalated the issue through Klarna, who paused my payments and stepped in.
While I am unable to attach photos here, I have documented clear evidence of the defect, including shedding directly from the weft/track.

5/7/2026 -
Update:
After further communication, the company has now offered to send a replacement unit. However, they requested that I close my Klarna dispute and remove my review before shipping it, which I am not comfortable doing.
Given the difference between what was advertised and what I received, I have requested verification of the replacement unit before proceeding. I will update this review again once I receive the replacement and confirm that it meets the expected quality and is free of defects.

Update: After escalating my concerns through Klarna and posting my original review, the company ultimately worked with me to resolve the issue by providing a significantly improved replacement wig.

After washing and conditioning the replacement unit, I can honestly say the density, track placement, fullness, and overall construction are much better compared to the original wig I initially received. The company clearly made an effort to address the quality concerns I raised.

My only remaining suggestion would be improving the comb placement by adding a rear anchor comb for additional stability and security during wear.

While the original experience was frustrating and required escalation to achieve a proper resolution, I do appreciate the effort made to correct the issue and provide a much better replacement unit.

Loved the hair, delivery was quick and I got it in less that 10 days. The hair is so full and good quality, doesn’t tangle and is easy to maintain as a braids girl. Happy with the product and the service too!

I love my hair! The curls are nice, bouncy and curly. For me, delivery was very seamless. I will definitely be trying out other styles from ULA Hair.

Hairs very thin unfortunately & they flag any reviews who leave had reviews to prevent more people knowing of issues and wasting hard earned money
