AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I would give a zero for the lack of customer service. We ordered and they arrived but without even opening the packaging we could see the quality was shocking for the price we had paid.
They are still unopened and will be going into landfill rather than on my legs!
We were told they cannot be returned as they are classed as intimate apparel so cannot be sent back! They are unopened.

I do apologise, it looks as though something has been lost in translation here. I can see that you spoke to my colleague Charlotte via email. She explained that we are unable to accept opened items for return, unless faulty. (It was reasonably assumed that the items had been opened because you said that the quality wasn't as hoped, although they were not faulty. Usually, it would not be possible to gauge the look and feel of hosiery without opening.) As you didn't clarify beyond this that the items were not opened, we regretfully concluded that - in line with our returns policy - the items could not be returned due to strict hygiene regulations for intimate apparel.

However, if the items have in fact NOT been opened, you are certainly welcome to return them to us. For future reference, you are always welcome to return any unwanted (unopened) items to us within 28 days of receipt, with no questions asked. Please kindly use the free Royal Mail tracked returns label link on our returns page: https://www.uktights.com/page/returns

I have been buying my tights from UK…

I have been buying my tights from UK Tights for over ten years now and have never had a problem. Usually get my order next day and you can't beat them on price. I have seen over 30,000 5 star reviews for them else where.

Purchased 3 pairs of wolford tights…

Purchased 3 pairs of wolford tights costing £49.99, i opened the box to realise they looked much thinner, so i decided to give one pair ago, i work for an airline and I do constant longhaul, i realised the tights were not for me, so i emailed them when i came back from my trip would it be possible to return 2 pairs in the packet -untouched,offering to pay £20 for one pair, to be rembursed for the other 2, there reply was they could not do this and i cannot get
rembursed they would have to bin the other 2 pair of tights, which i find very hard to believe, customer care is non existant, ive been in customer care for over 30 years always going above and beyond to help the customer, lesson learnt never buy from this company as you will never be able to return anything or receiving any money back

DREADFUL Customer Service. I hope the owners of this company Dawn…

I hope the owners of this company Dawn and Jonathan realise what a dreadful job the Customer Service team is doing. I suspect Kyle (General Manger) is the son. He was rude and dismissive. My order was apparently dumped on my doorstep whilst I was away (sick) and that was deemed safe by him. He went on to say “……this is standard procedure by Royal Mail………” My porch is open and I live on a main road - house is in public view!
Royal Mail leave a calling card and return parcels to their sorting office - that is standard procedure. I have sent them a recent calling card put through my letter box as proof of what is RM SP. He refused to acknowledge the company has a contractual duty to deliver to the customer. My complaint remains unresolved, they were dismissive and rude. Clearly their customers mean nothing to them! There was no offer of replacement or refund. I think they need to read up on consumer law and engage in improving customer relations.

We are always very sorry to hear that a customer is unhappy under any circumstances. Unfortunately, the issue with this delivery was exceptional, beyond our control, and within your own.

We posted your order to the address provided. By purchasing with us, you agreed, by extension, to Royal Mail's terms and conditions. Royal Mail's policy is to deliver small enough items through a letterbox. Larger parcels - such as yours - are delivered directly to a resident, or if no one is in, either left in a safeplace out of sight on your property, left with a neighbour, or returned to the delivery office so that you may collect it or rearrange delivery. The latter is a last resort option, as it is usually better for the planet, the customer, and Royal Mail if multiple delivery trips are not required. In this case, the delivery driver left the item in a safeplace, out of sight behind a pillar on the porch, and camouflaged (white box against a white wall). We were able to see exactly where it was left from the proof-of-delivery photo.

The main issue here is that you placed your order online and then were not home to receive it for a month. It is reasonable to expect that an item could be stolen within this timeframe, anywhere.

Secondly, you said that there has been an increased level of crime and theft on your road in recent months, so you had previously asked the postman to take items back to the delivery office for you to collect. I'm afraid that a retailer cannot be held responsible for a verbal agreement that you may or may not have made with your local postman. An agreement of this kind does not align with Royal Mail's policy, so if the postman were to forget, or if someone else was filling in on his round, there are no guarantees of any request being upheld. There are, however, official channels that were open to you to request this same thing. We regularly take requests from customers to add a note onto their delivery label to ask that items not be left in certain places or to leave parcels with preferred neighbours etc. We would have been more than happy to facilitate this had you asked. This is a simple thing to do at our end and we always wish to ensure that customers are happy with their order, and certainly that they receive it. Another option would have been for you to "change your delivery option" on the Royal Mail tracking page. Once an item is in transit, Royal Mail automatically emails you a tracking link. Then, when a parcel arrives at the delivery office, prior to delivery, you have the option to choose an alternative delivery method on the tracking page, including collection from the delivery office or a nearby post office.

Regarding your conversation with Kyle, he was not rude but explained the situation to you. You demanded to speak to the business owner after speaking rather agressively to 2 other members of staff. As the business owner was not on site, our General Manager took the call. The whole office heard his side of the call and he was certainly not rude, although we could hear you shouting from the other end.

We can appreciate your frustration in this situation as it was a high-value order. However, as we have previously explained to you in some detail, unfortunately, neither we nor Royal Mail can be held responsible for an item being stolen from your property over a period of a month while you were away.

Phew!!! An online business I'm happy to do business with & trust

They always ask me to review them, so here it is.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I've shopped here and from the actual online shop on their website through to delivery, I've always been satisfied. So, I'm confident that if I have a problem we can work together to resolve it.

My one criticism is that when I'm buying coloured tights, the website doesn't always provide adequate enough photos of the various colours available. You see these little tiles instead and this makes it hard to choose between similar shades available in the different brands. But, I've given them 5* because they've given me excellent service and for me, it's a relief and comfort to know I'm doing business with a genuine online UK store.

A lovely place to shop

Well, my experience was a delight. I had a bit of a problem with Paypal when I placed an order for some Charnos hosiery, but Keri fixed that away asap (I think not soon after she must of come into work!) All very helpful and friendly and my bits were shipped out that same day. She must be a star employee, as someone else is praising her below too! Thanks UK Tights (and Keri).

Customer service is Absolutely…

Customer service is Absolutely Appalling! Complete failure to take on board or listen to what the customer is saying. 100% dismissiveness. UK tight actual remit:
Facts are not important
The customer or their voice is not important
Solving problems and helping the customer is not important.
Absolutely abysmal. Something very wrong here…

Fantastic, friendly customer service

I received a faulty pair of tights and emailed UkTights with photos and request they send out a new pair. Keri was brilliant! She replied instantly, checked what I wanted and sent out the new pair within an hour. I honestly couldn't ask for better customer service. Thank you Keri!

Disgusting Customer Service........

Ordered 2 pairs of tights one pair were perfect but on opening the second pair they were very badly pulled and full of holes totally unwearable. I contacted customer service, sent pictures of the damaged tights but was told that they would not refund or send out a replacement pair as they had been worn.....who would wear a pair of damaged tights. I replied stating they had definately not been worn but still they refused to help. Don't get me wrong I have since worn the second pair and they are good quality and comfortable but please avoid buying from this company as the customer service is disgusting.

Awful quality – beware

Bought 3 pairs, wore them for 1 to 2 days for a few hours at a time – all of them ripped. Two at the seam (crotch), one at the feet. Terrible, awful awful quality, especially considering the price.

Perect every time

I always buy my Grandma's support tights in bulk from here and have had 5 star service every time. The last batch were out of stock (expected in 10-20 days) but I was made aware of this before ordering.
Just after the 10 days had passed I noticed the stock level hadn't changed so fired off a quick email to enquire. I got a personal reponse in 15 mins! Other companies take days to respond, if at all, but this was fantastic!
I was told when they were expected in stock (just a couple more days) and they offered to cancel my order if I wished. I was happy to wait and they were dispatched and delivered a few days later.
I wish all companies operated like UK Tights.

1st class, I hadn't received my parcel, great communication, waited a couple of days, contacted via email, rapid response and a replacement arrived the next day, really great quality tights, one very happy customer, thank you again.

Great stockings, very useful communication!

I came across UK tights when I was looking for some reasonably priced stockings. There is a fantastic range of different stockings and tights online in all different sizes and suiting all different pockets.

One colour I ordered wasn't immediately available but I was kept informed all through packaging and posting as to expected arrival dates and my second set arrived even earlier than advised. I will be returning to UK Tights again for further purchases!

Being a male who wears tights I like…

Being a male who wears tights I like using UK Tights when buying by tights online as they have such an extensive range to choose from, & I have never had a problem with any of my orders, & they have a very quick turn round on orders as most of mine have been delivered the next day if I order before noon. I would recommend this site to all tight wearers.

My 'go-to' company

This is my 'go-to' company whenever I need to re-stock. Great range of products, some of which are really difficult to find on the high street. Competitive prices and really fast delivery. If I've needed assistance in choosing items I've always found customer service to be very helpful. And no order has EVER gone missing or arrived late.

No received my package due to not having a tracking number

This is probably only one of the few companies who still send out packages without tracking number. If you spend more then 60 euro you would suggest that free shipping with tracking is granted...Nah, not here, here we send out more then 60 euro of merchandise without supllying a tracking number.

I ordered some tights on january 1st and it was send out without nofication email on january 2nd...As i checked the site on monday i saw that my package had already left. I contacted the customer service yesterday and it is sort of 'part of the risk of not paying for extra shipment costs'. Great site, great merchandise, bad shipping and handling!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.

I am sorry to hear that your parcel hasn't arrived. I can confirm that it was posted on 2nd January, with standard airmail delivery. I can see that you emailed our customer service email on 14th Jan and our MD Dawn personally responded to you.

As your goods should have reached you by now, I have just contacted Royal Mail to raise a missing item investigation.

They have advised that postal items entering the Benelux countries are delays as they are subject to more stringent security screening, due to France and Belgium being on the critical alert level for a terrorist attack. At one time, overseas parcels would be scanned in bulk but they are now individually checked and scanned before being released for delivery. As you can imagine, this is causing quite a backlog, and we are being advised to allow up to 2 weeks before items are being delivered.

I hope this helps and if you have still haven't received your order by Monday 20th January, please let me know and I will get a replacement order out to you.
