UKPC == Thieves
Awful company
Awful company. Appealed 2 months ago not heard back. Shambles
Cash cow company
Car registration did not record on pub's machine. Genuine customer, proof with bank statements. After two appeals, they 'generously' reduced their fine from £60 to £20. I paid as fed up wirth it, but it left a very sour taste: they are not criminals but it's not far off a scam. Very poor indeed.
It doesn't get any lower than taking…
It doesn't get any lower than taking money from a Children's Cancer Charity!
I contacted the company to ask them to use their discretion regarding a Parking Charge Notice issued while our minibus was being used as a support vehicle for a charity fundraising challenge for the Bradley Lowery Foundation.
My 12-year-old son and his friend Jack were cycling 182 miles from Old Trafford to Sunderland to raise money and awareness for the charity. On the day in question, we parked the minibus for just six minutes outside the gates of Huddersfield FC’s stadium while waiting to be let in by stadium staff, so that we could meet the boys after they had just completed the cycling leg from Old Trafford.
The minibus was an essential support vehicle for the challenge, helping with the boys’ safety, transporting equipment and meeting them at different stages of the route. This was not a case of simply parking for convenience or deliberately ignoring restrictions.
I fully explained these circumstances and politely asked for the charge to be considered as a gesture of goodwill. What is most disappointing is that I did not even receive the courtesy of a reply.
I also emailed Ben Cooke, the CEO, several times in the hope that someone would at least acknowledge the situation, but again received no response.
Regardless of whether the company ultimately agreed to cancel the charge, I would have expected at the very least a response to a genuine and respectfully made request, especially given that this involved two children undertaking a 182-mile charity cycle ride.
Being completely ignored after taking the time to explain the circumstances is extremely poor customer service and is the reason for this one-star review
UKPC are a disgrace
UKPC are a disgrace! Parked slightly over a white line in an empty car park and received a final fine of £170.
Multiple threatening letters received! How they are allowed to operate like this is a joke. I have contacted my local MP to express my concerns regarding the harassing behaviour of this company. Hopefully the new
PM will start to take notice of how they operate and impose restrictions.
They have no care regarding who they harass in their pursuit of money. It’s the more vulnerable in society who I feel most concern for when faced with their actions.
I will never shop in that particular retail park again.
Well done UKPC!
Don't work for UKPC
Don't work for UKPC, they also fine their staff and enforce high court action when you dont pay, they fined me using their ANPR cameras while I was ticketing cars for them!!! They wouldn't accept my appeal after I left the company and are stating i owe them £500 in parking charges, its more than what I made working for them.i ignored it and it went to court and that amount after court is was £1600 which i had to pay or they were going to possess my vehicle, complete scammers!!! Do Not Work For Them!!!
How this parking company operates…
How this parking company operates should be illegal. I have been stung for parking ON faded parking lines which I have tried to contest and appeal for months (since February). I have my own photographic evidence of the bay lines which has been ignored. I would only ever encounter people from the company who were 'unable to assist' and there is no phoneline to contact them on, only a payment line. Disgusting and disappointing that because I have fought and contested it (I have never ignored the correspondence), they have now threatened court action.
M18J1 McDonalds Car Park Breakdown
Our car broke down near J1 M18 and we limped into the McDonalds car park just off the junction. My wife is disabled and we parked in a Disabled parking space displaying her blue badge. The McDonalds staff told us they had 'entered' our registration on their system so we wouldn't get a fine waiting for the AA to recover us ... Wrong. We were fined £50. We appealed giving the true story, received an email requesting the photos of the blue badge which could not be sent as the mailbox was full. Eventually the email was sent but they said it was never received. There is no way to speak to a living person, no working email address to contact them. I have paid the fine to prevent it being escalated. Disgusting company.

Well there is no minus star to use
Well there is no minus star to use. This greedy people keep sending PCN from where never being. In fact at the day and time of the PCN I was in my GP for my appointment about a mile away. I send them a proof of my appointment and google map timeline to show where i was at the time. But they refused my appel. Instead cancelling they reduced to £20. It is time to Someone start looking in to this private parking companies. They getting more greedy.
Scammers. Paid at the paid machine. Still got a ticket.
Scammers. Paid at the paid machine. Still got a ticket. At Woolshops, Halifax. Never parking there again.
This company are predators
This company are predators . Even though I put my reg in the tablet at the gym they sent me a fine. The gym confirmed that CCTV shows me putting in my code. I appealed the fine based on cctv and that I had put my reg in. I finally received a letter confirming the fine was cancelled but they claimed I hadn’t - I’d took a picture of confirmation.
The charity shop and coffee shop next to the gym where I attend - the tablet didn’t register for a week and every patron received a fine!!!! All their fault.
A despicable company who prey on motorists.
Poor signage and unfair parking fine
I will pay this parking fine to avoid the hassle. It would be fair to perhaps consider putting up a few more signs making it clear that parking on the roadway (when cars can still pass two way) is not allowed. However, I am sure it is not in your best interest to erect more signs in order to reap the benefits of more fines.
⭐ 1-star
⭐ 1-star
I am giving one star because there is no option to give zero. In my experience, this company does not seem to care about the public or the circumstances of individual people. It feels like the main priority is making money rather than treating people fairly. Very disappointing experience, and I would not recommend this company.
Incompetent
Incompetent
Untrustworthy
Do not believe what they say.
Totally unprofessional and absurd.
Totally unprofessional and absurd.
Their warden operate maliciously like criminals , no uniform , no hi visibility vest. They just carry a camera taking vehicle pictures on the run totally ignoring the driver loading/unloading.Their wardens have no professional manners to come close to look if any vulnerable person is getting on or off the vehicle rather they need to reason to fetch information from the DVSA.
Sad and unfortunate such a company have access to driver’s and vehicle sensitive information which they sell to scammers for few pounds.
Dreadful business that needs regulation
This company needs to be regulated as it operates without any sense of fairness or attempt to resolve issues in a sensible manner.
My elderly mother recently had a parking ticket for spending 10 mins above the 3 hour limit at a local shopping centre. Fair enough. She proceeded to make payment by cheque - only to receive a letter from UKPC saying that they do not accept cheques and that she would need to find another way to pay...or face a further increase in the fine. Hence, I immediately settled the fine by card, using the UKPC website.
And guess what happened next? Yes, they cashed her cheque! Try as I might to get a refund of the overage paid, UKPC refuse to do this unless they get a 3rd party instruction from my mother. I've pointed out twice in writing that the fine has been double paid - and that they can either refund my mother - or me. If they refund me, why do they need any contact with my mother?
Furthermore, their complaints process seems to take the full month or so stated to respond. They recently claimed one of my emails had gone into Spam.
They are dreadful to deal with and need to be held accountable for this. If I could give a zero rating I would.
The Wulfrun Shopping Centre, Garrick Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3HH
Wulfrun Shopping Centre, Garrick Street, Wolverhampton, WV1 3HH (where I have parked and paid onsite for many years) the ANPR is not picking up my vehicle registration plate for the pay machine (but easily picking it up on entry and exit for the PCN). If you do not make a mental note of your arrival time (who does this?) and enter an incorrect time you will get a £60 penalty notice and your appeal that the system/machine was not working correctly will be denied, even if you show proof of payment.
This company is a scam
This company is a scam. No communication, appeal system so pathetic. I parked for 3 minutes and there were signs showing free parking. I sent pictures as evidence for my appeal. There was no communication. I only received letters dated different dates but arrived at the same time. They fake everything. I feel robbed one day God is going to deal with such dubious behaviour.
I can safely say they are useless
I can safely say they are useless. I received two PCN within a week of each other .I HAVE BEEN USING THE CHARITY SHOP AND ON MOST OCCASIONS DELIVERING ITEMS TO HELP THE COMMUNITY.I am registered disabled and was unaware in the change of parking regulations ,even the shop didnt tell me. I received two PCN both showing me driving in and out but not where i was parked. i have asked for proof but to no avail. All i have received since is a snotty letter from ZZPS a debt collection agency ADDING ON ANOTHER £70. This company is an embarrassment to the working ethic of people they should be the ones to be chased down and taken to court DISGRACEFUL
