Lack of refund or credit note
Booked a holiday to Spain with Tui ,unfortunately before we could go I was diagnosed with very serious illness and had to cancel the trip I had payed a deposit of 475 euro. When I asked the Tui rep for a refund or credit note I was informed no refund or credit note, it seems Tui doe's not a comparison policy shame on Tui so called family travel agencies bad enough dealing with the diagnosis but also having to deal with the ill affordable financial loss

We completely understand how upsetting it is to have to cancel a long-awaited holiday due to unforeseen medical circumstances. Unfortunately, as the booking had already been confirmed, the flights and other travel arrangements were secured with our third-party suppliers and airlines. Under the fare rules attached to the booking, these arrangements are non-refundable once confirmed, which means we are unable to offer a refund or credit note.
We appreciate that this is not the outcome you were hoping for, particularly given the circumstances. Where cancellations are due to illness, customers may wish to contact their travel insurance provider, as they may be able to assist with recovering eligible cancellation costs.
Thank you again for your feedback. We genuinely sympathise with your situation and wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Payment issue resolution
Wasn't waiting long to get through on the phone, the agent was already aware of the payment issue I was experiencing, advised tech were already working on it and that a payment could be made over the phone with her then and there. Quick, helpful and friendly.

I’m only giving 4 stars due to a lack…
I’m only giving 4 stars due to a lack of extras the Irish can choose compared to our British friends. They could book a late check out on the app this was unavailable to us and caused us to not being able to get one due to lack of availability at the hotel. Otherwise we were very happy with the tui service and have booked another holiday for next year.
