We've been trying get a response from Troy Tours for years. We had booked a trip to Israel 🇮🇱 right before the war broke out 2019, we had rescheduled but the embassy declared it unsafe to travel there. Troy Tours told us we could reschedule for a later date. As of now there is no response to any of our emails for a refund or reschedule of our trip. They are stealing money from customers and not fulfilling their part of the contract. Do not trust this company with your precious money or vacation. Not worth your money and time. Unbelievable, and we can't even report them the BBB. Who will hold these rip off companies to the standard of care, to render service when funds are accepted for service. Truly unacceptable.

It was incredible seeing Turkey - even in Winter! The tour days were filled morning to night - reasonable travel times between cities - with plenty of good, included sight-seeing during travel. Our tour guide – Levent G - was an archaeologist with excellent insight into the ruins and histories of the places visited. All in all, the best tour we have ever enjoyed! Accommodations were excellent. We are definitely recommending this tour to others interested in exceptional value and a thoroughly enjoyable tour.

We just returned from a trip to Nicaragua with Troy. It was very nice. We took the lower class hotels and they were comfortable and clean. Our tour guide, Ana Maria, knew so much about the area. She was an expert on animals, plants and trees. A great naturalist and a good guide to have.

Do not use Troy Tours! They are the worst!!! We paid for a trip to Israel, and at the last minute, they asked for 800 more per person for the flight! The airline accepted the cancelation and refunded the money to Troy Tour. Then the war started in Israel the very next day we cancel the trip. Troy Tours told us to file a claim eith the insurance, because it was faster, becaus with them it will take longer. We did, and the insurance DENIED the claim because it did not covered flight increases! We contacted Troy Tours, and were given the round around. The total trio was over $9,000.00, paid in total to Troy. TROY TOURS did not refunded a penny!!! Not even what the airline refunded to them!!! We are a military family, and the military legal department took our case. All correspondence sent by the legal dept to Troy has been returned!
They are thief's! Do not use!!!

2. Anneka is a knowledge and courteous guide. She did a wonderful job in providing the history and current events behind the myriad of the sites we visited. Bashar is a very skilled driver and a good man.
3. In summary we had the trip of a lifetime and will remember this trip for the rest of our lives. We are planning another trip next year.

Not a reliable company. Scam operation. Your tours may be forever delayed and rescheduled. When a refund is finally offered, it never appears. Oct. 2019 we booked a tour to Israel. It was delayed/cancelled 4 times. We were never allowed flexibility in rebooking. Finally Oct. 2022 a refund was offered. Never received. TroyTours keeps blaming airlines for delay. Their term & conditions do not state that refunds are contingent upon airlines reimbursement. Excuses continue to blame airlines. No evidence they have ever attempted to collect from airlines.

More than a trip, a life-changing experience!
While this was not my first trip to Israel, it was unlike any prior trip due to the itinerary selected by Troy Tours and the phenomenal guidance from our tour guide, Avi. Avi has an encyclopedic knowledge of Israel, is enthusiastic, engaging, and made trip once-in-a-lifetime experience. He truly made us feel like family. We cannot wait to return! Behind the scenes, Melissa made sure that all the logistics were taken care of with perfect precision. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

I have utilized the services of Troy Tours many times in the past, mostly for travel to Turkey. Can (owner) and his crew never disappointed. I highly recommend him for your travel needs.

Troy Tours offering trips of Israel, Turkey, France and Greece etc. is not a reliable travel agency as from my experience. I have paid the money in full in February 2019 for a trip to Israel and they have postponed the trip several times naming different reasons. Now after 3 years and 10 months after I paid the money for two passengers, they have NOT made any arrangements for the actual trip. Now we have attempted to call the travel agency by phone and the number has been blocked as they do not want to talk to passengers who paid them the money.
It is a major mistake to seek any refund from this bogus travel agency. We have lost all the money we paid for an 8 day trip to Israel which was meant for the hotel stay for 8 days and tour of Israel and for the Airfare for two passengers.
I wish those who read this should find other ways to travel than contacting this con artists.

Recently returned from our visit to Israel and it was absolutely fabulous. Granted, we didn't stay at the best hotels Israel has to offer, but if it's your desire to visit the Holy Land, you can't beat this offer. R/T air, fuel surcharges, accommodations, breakfast and dinner daily, professional English speaking guide, all airport transfers, all sightseeing entrance fees. If you have any desire to visit Israel on this 8 day Holy Land tour I strongly suggest you consider Troy Tours. We traveled with a great group from all over the United States and had an amazing experience. If you're lucky enough to have Daphne as your tour guide, she might just be the best tour guide ever! From LAX, it's a long flight(s) but totally worth the low price and amazing adventure. Troy Tours completely delivered on this once-in-a-lifetime journey, Can was a great help getting everything arranged. If something like this in on your "bucket list", Just do It!!

We had a wonderful 15 day tour to Turkey with Troy Tours. It was our first experience taking a tour, as we usually travel on our own. The group was small (12 including our 3). The hotels and meals exceeded our expectations. The tour guide and driver were super! We saw about 20+ sites...museums, mosques, churches, archaeological. Overall, it was very good and we highly recommend Troy Tours.

Troy Tours 15 Day Classic Turkey - Excellent Tour!! We just returned from the Classic Turkey tour of Turkey operated by Troy Tours. We booked the tour the based on the good reviews on the tripadvisor.com Our tour guide, Mine, was excellent. We toured over 20 years ago and Mine was by far so knowledgeable in comparison and passed along a lot of information, we learned so much that you can't pick up from reading alone. She made the experience wonderful. She was very helpful for those w/dietary restrictions and made sure the tour ticked like a finely tuned clock. Our driver, Ahmet, was also excellent. He manouvered the streets through the mountain towns like a true pro. The bus was always clean and he was always there to help anyone on or off. The bus itself have plenty of legroom - the right side of the bus had less space between the seats than the left (driver's side). We didn't realize this until we "rotated" our seats daily and finally got to sit on the left. Turkey is not what it was twenty years ago. It is much more commercialized; more people speak English; developed quite a bit. Be prepared to spend with the dollar being down...be prepared to walk a lot...but, be prepared to have the trip of a lifetime - you will never see anyplace so beautiful with so much art and history.
