Stayed in all day waiting for a hire delivery. Received a text at 07:39 confirming the order has been placed and offering safety videos. Received another text at 12:03 advising the driver will be with me between 14:15 and 16:15. Online tracker shows delivery has 'arrived', yet since about 16:00 delivery truck is shown as at TP Bedford site on the map. Nothing has arrived as at 17:15. No explanation, no communication from Travis Perkins.

I’ve just had a pallet of kiln sand delivered from the Gloucester branch. Craig was able to place the pallet exactly where I needed - it was a tricky manoeuvre. He safely dropped off the the delivery- and gave me a few tips on sealing the block paving too. Super helpful.

Lyme Regis-Don’t go alone. Not a place for woman and children.

From start to finish everyone involved real great service. Nice to deal with very competitive. Why go anywhere else….

Fantastic generally, Office staff can’t do enough for you and deliveries always on time. Could do with a few more lads in the yard to cut down wait times.

I ordered some timber from Travis Perkins after Wickes let me down and the delivery driver did a great job manoeuvring the truck around my narrow street. When I called earlier to check on delivery status, I was pleasantly surprised to get straight through to the branch, not a call centre, and the person I spoke to was very helpful.

Website is out of date and not reliable. Check with Local Branch instead or go to a more reliable competitor such as Wickes or Jewsons etc.
Ordered 2 dumpy bags of gravel online, told it was in stock, so paid.
Next week, local branch called to say that they had no stock and hadn't been able to get the gravel for 18 months ! Was also told that this was a known problem within TP.
Rubbish.

I have had to use travis perkins sandy Lane for the past 3 Saturday and every time they are late opening. I am not saying by a little bit I mean they arrive for work after 8.20am yet they say open at 8am . Thank God the next customer has an account somewhere else. Very poor time keeping

The reason for a one star review is the delivery cost , they want £30 delivery for one £30.58 fence panel and we stay five minutes down the road in the car in Kelso, obviously we would go and collect but they have none in stock. No offer to order it into store.

Second to last time - guy on the counter told us our account was on hold. I asked for the invoice(s) concerned to help sort it out as in a position to do so - its normally where a po number hasn't been put on the paperwork - but he was rude and obnoxious. Didnt go back for some time because of it but 12 months later I needed some timber and their prices were really favorable and they had in stock, customer service at that point was fantastic. When it arrived it was absolutely drenched and some had woodworm. We used it anyway as we needed to get on and thought we could treat it after - it did the job. I sent an email after showing various pictures of it, saying it was just a FYI but maybe you can sort us out with a tin of treatment - email was ignored.

Used the Travis Perkins branch in Eastleigh today and once again great service from Claire and the team. Really helpful and friendly, thank you.

Last week I visited Travis Perkins, Padholme Rd, PE1, and I happily give 5⭐’s and nothing less.

My first encounter was with Luke in-store, I explained what I was looking for and he helped me with confirming and tweaking my measurements for the wood I needed, despite all the questions I asked him, he never faltered and was very patient 😃.

The next person I met was Damien up at the Timber yard, what a lovely guy, he couldn’t have been more helpful, showed me exactly what I needed, even made a money saving suggestion for me, which worked out really well.

I don’t usually leave reviews that often, mainly due to the fact that services can be very hit and miss these days, but, when it’s warranted, and it’s not just for the service, but primarily due to the seasoned expertise of your employers it makes the whole transaction with Travis Perkins a great day.

I hope Luke and Damien are recognised for there professionalism, knowledge, work ethics and friendlessness, as they are a positive representation of your company where they help to make any experience at Travis Perkins a positive one.

I have been dealing with Barry branch. I have respect and praise for all those I have dealt with starting with Manager Steve Vaughan who has been professional, polite, helpful, available and very efficient with enquiries and quotes etc. Lewis, is one of the most helpful delivery drivers I have come across. Always willingly to help and support in placing of materials. He is providing excellent customer service. The yard staff Paul and George are also most helpful and deserve a mention. The whole team at Barry are a credit to the company and I hope their directors appreciate and recognise what a good team they have in them.

Having ordered some fence panels. posts and crete I was offered a delivery option. The posts and crete were delivered on time a few days later. I was handed over to a third party for the fence panels who contacted me and said they would let me know when they would be delivered. Then I waited, and waited, and waited. After nearly a fortnight I phoned to be told the delivery was due in another two weeks. I am not sure how any company can expect someone to order and wait the best part of a month for delivery. I ordered from Wickes who gave me a next day delivery option and they arrived first thing the next morning. The only good thing I will say is that Travis Perkins cancelled my order and reimbursed me promptly. I won't use Travis Perkins again.

I popped into the Tewkesbury branch to ask about topsoil and delivery. The two sales persons I spoke with were very pleasant and answered all my questions. They even escorted me to the bottom of the yard to show me the topsoil I was interested in. Once I had decided to order, they managed to get me a delivery slot for that afternoon.
The delivery communication was great. I received a text to say when my delivery slot was, and then received another text when I was the next stop for the delivery driver. I could track his journey using the link provided and was outside when he came around the corner.
The driver (Jeremy) placed the bags exactly where I wanted them and was very risk aware with regard to where I needed to be standing as he operated the crane mechanism.
All in all extremely pleased with the level of service.

I went to the South Woodham ferrers branch, i needed a small piece of copper pipe , a off cut if possible , as the piece i wanted was about 12” long for an outside tap , the young man looked under the counter , and found a piece , and gave it to me , no charge , thankyou to him and his manager , EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE , 5*****
