Luckily i tried to check-in the night before imagine if I just went to the airport? I called and the rep said there was nothing he could do and the flight was cancelled despite the fact that I could still see the flight on their website search. The rep then said my best bet was to buy a last minute replacement flight which I did.
Come the morning of the flight, I receive a call from the original rep that booked the ticket that they resolved the issue and that the ticket had been reinstated. He said since my booking was within 24hrs I can cancel it with the airline and get a full refund which I did.
It all worked out in the end but this was a rather unnecessarily stressful situation. Needless to say I was on edge for the second leg of my booking a few days later which was fine.
Also price at booking wasn't honoured and I had to pay more afterwards which seems like they lowball to draw customers in.

Pedro Ramirez helped immensely on Nov…
Pedro Ramirez helped immensely on Nov 9, when the airline accidentally had us going to Miami, instead of Ft. Lauderdale. We were to leave the next morning. Then they were going to charge us an exorbitant fee to fix it.
I was under a lot of pressure that day, and may have given him a hard time, but he remained helpful.
After 4+ hours, Pedro was able to solve the problem, and stayed with us till it was solved.
He made a horrible situation bearable, and I want to let you know he is a valued employee .

I had to inform my bank that it was fraud transaction and my bank got me to call them to tell them the authorization code. I was wondering why they looked as if they were legit. Why can they still keep scamming others???
