Have bought on-and-off from Trago for many years. Over the last few, things have changed: staff more positive, friendly and professional, store cleaner, credit cards accepted; (perhaps at the sacrifice of prices!) Just purchased 50 sq m of carpets, underlay and many boxes of porcelain floor tiles. Excellent prices on all (compared both to other stores and the internet). Delivered today (Saturday) within 30 min of the target time. Couldn't really ask for more!

I always like to leave factual honest reviews that reflect the whole of my experience. The vast majority of my reviews are 5 star ones when I have had excellent service. Unfortunately I couldn't do this for TargoMills.
This was my first visit to Falmouth and to this store. First impressions where it was a tad on the scruffy side but hey ho a large range of goods most (but not all) that were good prices. We bought quite a few items and later went back to get Tower coffee maker for my daughter as a birthday present. Only one on shelf - a display model. Tried it out next day and wouldn't even turn on. Very disappointed and had to rush out to take it back (delayed our family day out) The customer service man was EXTREMELY helpful and nice. 5 stars for him. He offered refund or replacement. So far so good BUT that was the last one. Really wanted a present for my daughter and no time to order online. Only alternative was to pay out 10 quid more for the Delonghi one - the only other coffee maker available. I asked if they could knock off a bit as gesture of good will and the CS man did go off to try for me. However the tightfisted owner/manager refused. Not a very good impression to leave for a potential future customer (we are thinking of moving to the area). very surprised as having lived in Asia for 30 years a similar shop under the circumstances would have done this to build up a good long term customer relationship. Just a token gesture would have helped. But no the short armed deep pocket manager/owner wasn't interested despite the best best efforts of the very nice customer service man. It would have been 5 stars in spite of the inconvenience and extra expense if they had done this but 5 sSTARS for customer service PERSON 1 STAR for selling defective goods STARS for good prices & range 1 star for tightfisted manager who doesn't care about customers 3 for scruffy store appearance so I'm afraid it works out to overall 3 stars. Might be back on our ext visit BUT I'll be very careful what I buy. Electricals will be off the shopping list!

Tragos have become grubby shops stocked with poor quality goods. Check to see you're not buying 'seconds' while you're at it!

Have bought lots of things in Trago over the years, prices are always the best. 15% off in January sale which no one else does.
Pile it high sell it cheap is a good mentality.
I have never had any trouble returning items, Some years age had a £1200 suite which we could not get into our cottage, they gave me a credit note for the full amount, No complaints about Trago.
Plenty of free parking.

having shopped there for over 20years trago never fails to amaze,having baught a plant for £5 in gardens got it home repotted only to find no roots just a rhyzome with 2 leaf buds ,i watered and hoped for the best,duringb the next few weeks the leaves opened up and then died,the rest of the plant had started to rot,so i took the dryed remains of the plant back to them in a pot,where after shopping for over 20 years was treated like a criminal,with disbelife from ignorent members of staff ,who knew nothing about plants,then thay used the the excuse of not having the recipt (after 6 weeks of trying to grow it)something that is not usualy a problem,i think thay took this attitude because thay didnt know how much to refund me,as all the plants had gone.somewhat pathetic after spending thousands in there over the years,thay carnt do the decent thing and offer a refund of less than £5.
normaly trago will will give a refund if thay have something thay can put back on the shelf ,for other unsuspecting customers to repurchase.

the staff at trago mills in liskard are so unhelpful and rude, they never want to help you and before you even finish asking the question they say no cant help you or no we dont sell it, then you find the thing that you were looking for on the shelf, will never go there again, its a waste of time
