Paid for an ash vacuum cleaner, never received it, no response to emails. Pending legal action against these scammers.

Hard to find product with fast delivery and 1 hour time slot provided.

Having paid for a Log Splitter through Tool-net on 23rd of December I was told on 5th January by email more money was required to pay for the delivery to Ireland. This I did on 10th January to receive an email on 11th January telling me the Log Splitter could not be delivered till September. So I cancelled the order. All I can now get is Customer Service emails there is no way to speak to anyone and I'm reaching breaking point with all this delay. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We have been waiting for 8 months on a refund. Their phone number is inaccessible and no proper communication on email.

Bought wood rot treatment at the best price I could find with Tool-Net. A couple of cans were damaged and leaking when delivered. Contacted Tool-Net and with no drama replacements were sent. I'd definitely buy from them again for the price, range and customer service

Purchased a tool I required urgently before Christmas, was then sent an email 2 days before Christmas stating it was discontinued. I checked with the manufacturer and it was not discontinued so I asked tool-net for a full refund which they said would be done within 24-48 hours – that was before Christmas, still waiting and coming to the conclusion that this company is nothing more than a scam. No way to call them and they no longer respond to email. Avoid and use another company to purchase from

Absolute shambles. Ordered rolling tool box before Christmas. Arrived damaged. Arranged its collection and a replacement to be sent. Damaged box collected but the replacement was a totally different product - a salt spreader!
Back in touch with Tool-Net, by email I might add as there is no means to contact them by phone. Requested they pick up the salt spreader and refund my money. They refused until the salt spreader was picked up. Five times I have been text to say their carriers were going to pick it up but each time they have failed to appear. This has been going on for two weeks. Now resorting to proceedings in the Claims Court to recover my money.

Update - unwanted salt spreader returned even though I had to take it myself to the couriers some twelve miles away. Eventually got an acknowledgement from Toolnet that it had arrived at the suppliers. Promised refund still not forthcoming,. Care to advise Toolnet?

Terrible service, ordered tools needed asap, didn't receive any email for days to say order had been shipped. Sent email and waited days for a reply.
To then be told there was no stock and to wait till the end of the month when more would be coming in stock. Then heard nothing after that date so contacted again to be told it was discontinued.

Best price i could find for the tool bag and tools. Everything went smoothly only thing wasnt received before christmas but just after. He will be buying more tools.

They sold me a faulty heater at cost of almost 900.00
On emailing them they told me to call a technical number who makes the heater and they said return heater to sender! When email back tool net few hours later they have closed office until after January! She didn’t warn me that I’m the morning email, making interest on our money all this time. Dodgy Company!!

Awful. Order not received after three weeks. Fobbed off by company. Don't use this company unless you want to get ripped off.

the main reason for 2 stars is there is no phone number contact them if there is a problem
When you e mail them you only get a standard letter back
instead a reason for the delay.

Ordered a heater for the work shop on 30th November on - day delivery, on the 6th working day I chased the order to be told it was not due in to Tool-net until the December and they would send out next day delivery which they did however on receiving the goods one of the legs is broken - it still works ok and we can make something so that it doesn't fall over but really we should not be doing this on a product which is almost £200 but we cannot wait another 2 weeks with the weather being what it is. Having no telephone line to speak to someone is also frustrating, i emailed on Wednesday with regards to delivery and still not had a reply, Thursday - disappointing and will probably put me off using again
