Chaotic start
Chaotic start, hoping the process smoothes out. I asked that a voucher be sent to my granddaughter in a week. However, it was sent immediately. I paid fully for the Tinggly fee and find that I can log in to Tinggly, but support.tinggly.com won't recognize my credentials. You'd think the tech support would be 100% before they ask you to rate the service with Trustpilot.

Wrong Item, Still no Resolution
I ordered one item, but when I checked the receipt I saw that I was charged for a different item. I made several attempts to contact customer service in an effort to make an exchange, but only received an acknowledgment of my attempts to contact them. I requested that they exchange the item, but the wrong item was sent before there was any resolution to the problem. I have only spoken to a an actual person once, who said she would send the message “up the chain of command”. I have yet to hear back on anything. I will NEVER order anything from this company again.

While we make every effort to adjust orders prior to shipment, there are cases where such changes may no longer be possible.

I was gifted a voucher by my daughter
I was gifted a voucher by my daughter. When I went to redeem it, not only did it take 3 separate tries to finally get the transaction to work, but when I checked my bank statement I found I was charged in American dollars rather than Canadian. This meant the price I was paying was almost twice what I would have paid if I had purchased the cruise directly from the seller rather than using my Tinggly voucher. I was extremely upset initially but once the company saw my feedback they resolved the issue quite readily and booked the cruise for me at the appropriate price and issued me a credit. I truly appreciated this. The problem with the company, and they are not alone, is that you cannot phone anyone and talk to someone to resolve issues. All contact is through email which can take time to receive a response. Having said This, the company did satisfactorily resolve things and we had a wonderful harbour cruise. I would caution all users to be aware that prices are listed in US dollars and to take this into consideration when choosing activities. I am changing my rating to 3 star from 1 star because the issue did get resolved quite readily.

**FURTHER UPDATE TO TINGGLY SECOND RESPONSE**
Nothing in Tinggly's newest response changes the fact that a gifter is merely giving money to the recipient, that the recipient knows how much money they are getting, and that the money can be spent only on the Tinggly marketplace. May as well just send the recipient cash, or Venmo, or whatever. Why limit someone to spend money only on Tinggly, when there are no differentiators, no savings to be had, and redemption is tedious, time consuming, and inefficient?
I don't buy the excuses about real-time availability information. Too many other platforms offer that feature.
(PS - interesting that I make sure all my content is still visible, which is fine, as I I stand by everything I write. Tinggly - only your most recent content is visible - what is it you don't want to show from your earlier response?)

**UPDATED FOLLOW-UP TO TINGGLY RESPONSE**
Yes, I am well aware that I purchased on the "older version" of the Tinggly website. Therein lies a big problem. Tinggly HAD been offering gifts which did not have a price tag on them to the recipient, only adventures and experiences that were included in the purchased package. When it "updated" itself, rather than grandfathering customers from the previous version, Tinggly arbitrarily converted the pre-packaged experiences ("Experience the World" in my case) to simple dollar values.

It became like giving someone a present with the price tag still on it. Or a gift card from Amazon. Or a Visa gift card. How lovely. You are not giving "a wonderful gift containing experiences worldwide" - you are giving someone money - which can only be spent in an inefficient marketplace.

And again, Tinggly, unlike other platforms, does NOT allow a customer to check availability of an experiences in real time when redeeming a Tinngly voucher for a provider's voucher. Clearly that technology exists (VIATOR, for example, enables it) but Tinggly chooses not to implement the technology. Telling customers that we can "coordinate with Customer Service" to check availability is silly, and would require either redeeming during UK hours for [semi] real time availability information, or waiting for email responses. Both of which are WAYYY too restrictive.

If booking experiences thru Tinggly saved a good bit of money, perhaps those inconveniences would be worth it. That is not the case. Tinggly is either the same price as, or more expensive than, experiences booked thru other more efficient platforms or from providers directly. Personal example: Just last week redeemed a "Sunset Tiki Cruise" in Belize. Price thru Tinggly: $60 p.p. Price thru provider: $45 p.p.

When we first bought a Tinggly "gift box" for our son called "Experience the World" there were many different types of adventures and experiences included. We paid $162 and the experiences were many and varied, and any one of them was included in the particular package. At some point, Tinggly decided to convert the experiences into dollar value (equal to our purchase price) and became, basically, an online marketplace/platform to book experiences, any of which had its own dollar price attached. Not quite the same. But the bigger issue is that ALMOST EVERY SINGLE EXPERIENCE I have explored via Tinggly has also been available on other platforms/marketplaces FOR LESS MONEY! And you cannot check for available dates like you can on other sites, so if you purchase on Tinggly and find out your preferred date is unavailable? Then what? Evendo, Viator, Tripadvisor and others cost the same or less, and you can check availability. Do yourself a favor - use another online marketplace for your bookings

We did not have price tags on our previous website, however, we made some important changes to our website only to offer more flexibility for redeemers. We are deeply sorry to hear this caused you inconvenience. We take our customers' feedback very seriously and try our best to find the best solutions for improving our website.
The redeemer can use their account balance to purchase individual experiences or getaway gifts. By selecting the "Use Personal Wallet" option at the end of the checkout the account money will be applied towards the total or partial cost of the chosen experience.
We also have a wide gift box selection for different values, as well as getaway boxes which once redeemed, can be used to browse experiences or hotel stays within that gift box value.
We are not based in the US, nevertheless, due to a big time difference, we have people from customer support who are working during night shifts to help our customers receive the responses quicker. Also, our customer support always responds to emails within 24 hours. We are trying our best to respond to the emails as fast as possible, and in the future, we have plans to be available for 24 hours.
We also provide the Gift Card option - similar to the Amazon or Visa gift card. This is the best option for customers who haven't decided which gift box or a single experience to purchase for a recipient. Therefore, our Gift Card is one of the best-selling products on our website and we are happy that our customers enjoy the flexibility of using their Tinggly value.
While we don't provide our own experiences directly, we work closely with providers to feature their activities on our site. Our business idea is to sell a Gift Box that contains those experiences or hotel stays from our providers' sites. This means we can not show availability straight away. Availability highly depends on the number of participants, therefore once the activity is selected by choosing the number of participants, the purchase is made and then the system integrates all of the information and calculates the availability. Alternatively, we have created an "Exchange Experience" option, which allows you to exchange the product for your Tinggly value (account money) and again you can keep browsing for other experiences. Therefore, customers can provide our customer support team with the full name of the experience, preferred travel dates, and the number of participants, and they will check the availability of making a purchase. We understand that this feature is very important to our customers that is why we are working on the best way to implement this in the future.
As I mentioned before, we work closely with providers to feature their activities on our site. It's important to note that providers set their own prices, which means we don't have the ability to change them. As such, pricing can vary based on various factors such as seasonality, specific dates, and the different options of experience (private tours typically be higher in price). Our customer support team checked that the "Sunset Tiki Cruise" experience in Belize, on Get Your Guide has the same price - 60 USD per person. The price of 45 USD per person might have been due to the promotion the provider had at the time, or that might have been a different cheaper option for this experience. We are always willing to offer the best prices for our customers, so if there is a price difference, we encourage redeemers to contact us before making a booking so that we can find the best price or an alternative experience that would satisfy the customer's needs.

Experiences are overpriced, lots of lame options
Experiences are way overpriced. Can't even find anything worth doing in the "Adventure Awaits" category, which at $69 should include SOMETHING entertaining and worth that amount in one of the many western cities I'll be in. Looks like my best options are going on a ghost tour by myself or a $54 cookie kit that effectively cost my gifter $69 because I can't even use the remaining $15.
There should be a way to cover the excess cost if you find something that's, say, $1 over the gift card you got (try finding an experience that's equal to the amount on the gift card...).
All you're getting for the added cost is the curation of some activities which one could easily find on a basic tourism site like Tripadvisor.
The website is misleading too, sometimes when you enter "2" participants, experiences pop up that only cover it for 1. So a well-intentioned person buying a birthday gift card might assume there are more experiences available for that price than there really are.
Unless you are someone who needs to spend hundreds to thousands of dollars to go on a hike, skip this company.
I actually like the idea of gifting experiences and encouraging people to do stuff outside they wouldn't normally think of, but pick another company like Groupon or something that has far better value and provides reviews of the individual experiences.

The difference between Gift boxes is the value. The higher the box price, the bigger the value of the experiences that will be included. Therefore, if you change the number of participants, the selection of experiences changes within the selected price range.
If you are having difficulty finding what you like within the gift box, an "Exchange Experience" feature will allow you to exchange your gift box for Tinggly value (account money). This means you can choose any other experience or gift box offered on our website and cover the part or full price of it using your Tinggly value.
We can see that our customer support team has contacted you regarding the booking error you have experienced and offered some alternative experiences as a solution.
Regarding the reviews, our system can not implement the reviews from our provider's site due to technicalities, however, we can always provide the links that lead to the reviews from our provider's website.

WOW WOnderful tour
Saturday 13th July my husband and I were able to go on a Dark Secrets of Stanley Park tour with Cole, our guide. It was EXCELLENT!
Even though we have lived in Port Moody for over 40 years and have visited Stanley Park many times,
We learned lots of pieces of information, history, cultural etc. that we had not previously known. Cole arrived early, and politely went around people who were waiting near the aquarium statue finding out and checking off people in his group,. The pace of the tour was right for the range of people who attended and throughout the tour Cole was professional polite and used a slight touch of humour. It was obvious he knew a lot of relevant information which he provided in appropriate amounts while at the same time answering questions and taking comments. The time seemed to fly by with Cole. He made sure he was respectful of other park users and carefully guided his group around often making sure that there was shade for people to stand under while listening to his comments. It was a great afternoon for us, and we would highly recommend Cole and this walking tour.
