Alan Holmes came to our home, he showing his ID and introducing himself , Alan was very polite and went through our wills. He explained everything in a no nonsense layman's term. After he had done our will it didn't take long he went on to give us other information about other options to protect our finances he was not a sale's man and did not try to sell anything to us he just laid out our options
I would definitely recommend Alan to anyone seeking advice on wills power of attorney and associated work .

I cancelled a no. of times but they were always helpful.
They came to my home which was very convenient. However I don't find it easy to have strangers visiting. Stephen Bradley's easy- going but professional manner helped a lot. He gave concise & clear informationon. He answered all my questions &did not push me to buy services (such as storage & TTP ), readily accepting my decision that i wanted time to think about them.

The booking process was easy and I received a text message confirmation and a call a day before to reconfirm the appointment.

The estate planning consultant, Alan Holmes provided an excellent and personal service. He arrived early, showed his ID for verification that it was him. Alan had a thorough, professional and friendly approach. At no point in time did I feel uncomfortable discussing drafting my will. It was something I had put off but knew I needed to and Alan made the whole process stress free. I was reassured throughout by the information I was given and his experience. I could ask questions at any point and never felt I was being forced into any aspect I didn’t want or need. Having the appointment in my own home made it feel more relaxed and Alan had the rare ability to break down complex and often emotional issues of writing a will into something straightforward.

At the end of the appointment, Alan explained the next steps and additional services I might want to consider.

Avoid this awful company.

Went with them to get a will and Derek, the salesman, just tried to upsell other products so pulled the plug on them and decided not to go any further. As I had provided a lot of personal information, I asked for them to delete all this personal information and not contact me again.

Got confirmation from Derek that the request to cancel my will had been done and all my personal data had been deleted, and thought that was the end of it.

Fast forward to a month later and I got an unsolicited email asking if I'd like a will through their will writing service, proving that my personal information hadn't been deleted and therefore in breach of the Data Protection Act 2018 and the European Union's General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR).

I emailed them back to advise that they had confirmed to me that my personal details had been deleted from their system so why were they contacting me again - a clear breach of the GDPR and data protection.

I didn't hear anything back and thought this was the end of the matter, however, 6 months later I got another unsolicited email asking if I'd like a will through their will writing service.

I emailed them back once again to advise that they had previously confirmed to me that my personal details had been deleted from their system (a blatant lie because they were still corresponding with me) so why were they contacting me yet again - a clear breach of the GDPR. No reply was forthcoming so I one again thought this was an end to the matter.

Unbelievably, a further month later again - that's a full year since I said I wanted no contact from then and I originally asked them to delete all my personal information (something which I was told has been done) - I received a full draft will from them via email!

The PDF attachments containing my draft will were simply added to the email - no encryption or password protected documents, just all my personal details thrown into an email without any consideration to their contents.

This was yet another further breach of the General Data Protection Regulations as I have confirmed to them several times that I wanted nothing to do with them and requested my personal details were deleted - something they confirmed was done but several unsolicited emails later, tells a very different story!

I'm currently considering my next options with this mickey mouse company regarding their blatant breaches of GDPR (including reporting Thomas Bradley to the Information Commissioners Office for repeated GDPR breaches) and treating personal data without the care and attention they should be providing.

Despite being asked to contact them about my review, which I did, I've heard nothing from Thomas Bradley - customer service obviously isn't a big thing with this company, the same as their lack of care regarding GDPR!

We had Alan Holmes visit us to discuss the creation of a Will for my parents and he was absolutely fantastic

We've tried to do this previously with another firm who made the process far more complicated than it seemingly needed to be

Alan was able to answer our questions very clearly and in even drew a picture to help explain some intricacies of a LPA for my mum !

My experience with Thomas Bradley Legal has been extremely disappointing and has caused significant stress and frustration for both myself and my spouse.

We approached Thomas Bradley Legal to prepare our wills after seeing advertisements for their services. We were assured that the company was appropriately regulated and were informed that we would receive draft documents within two weeks. During the process, we provided highly confidential and sensitive personal information and later agreed to proceed with Lasting Power of Attorney services, setting up a payment plan totalling £1,434.

Unfortunately, despite repeated assurances and ongoing payments, we experienced long delays, poor communication, and a lack of progress. Months passed without receiving the promised draft wills. When I followed up, I was informed that documents had supposedly been sent, but they were never received. After several further attempts, I only received a Power of Attorney draft and nothing relating to the wills.

I formally raised a complaint and was assured by senior management that the matter would be resolved promptly. However, no meaningful progress followed, and I did not receive the written responses I specifically requested.

Only after escalating the matter externally did I eventually receive a will draft, which contained significant errors and required correction. Even after returning the corrected version, there was no acknowledgement or response.

As of today, we still do not have completed wills, have not received proper updates, and remain without clear answers regarding the services we paid for. The process has continued for approximately a year despite being expected to take considerably less time.

This experience has caused unnecessary anxiety, affected our estate planning, and left us with very little confidence in the service provided. Based on our experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering these services to carry out thorough research and seek full clarification regarding regulation, communication processes, and expected timescales before proceeding.

I have received written confirmation from the Legal Ombudsman stating that “the service provider concerned (Thomas Bradley Legal) is not approved to provide services in England and Wales.” The Financial Ombudsman has also confirmed that Thomas Bradley Legal is not regulated, and the Financial Conduct Authority has stated that the firm operates only as an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR).

As I have requested many times for a refund, as the services have not been completed or properly started, we are now proceeding with court action to recover our money. I will continue to provide updates on the progress of this matter so that other customers can make informed decisions based on our experience.

Reply to Thomas Bradly: You are making statements that are inaccurate and misleading. We have given you ample time and made many complaints including society of will writers, recently deadline to complete the service. Letter before court proceedings but you avoid every thing. Has anyone in your firm knows that "the Consumer Rights Act 2015 clearly states that services must be carried out with reasonable care and skill" not when ever you are free completing the service. You haven't even initiated the service when you asked me for the further details as you cannot complete the service in the dead line given your officials send me letter apologising for not completing. ThomasBradley legal is cowboy workers and scammers. As you were unable to complete the service within a reasonable period, I requested a full refund, which was ignored. In addition, I subsequently sent a Letter Before Court Proceedings, to which I have received no response. This conduct further demonstrates a failure to properly address your contractual obligations and has unnecessarily caused considerable stress, inconvenience, and difficulty.
