I looked at the mortgage hut through their police mortgages. The service is professional and friendly, very informative people who listen to your concerns and answer questions truthfully. Andy and Giacomo helped us through the mortgage process and we have now entered into the post offer stage! Thank you both for your support and being patient with us.

The Mortgage Hut are the default broker used by the housing association I bought my flat through and I'm grateful they are. Elliot was extremely helpful in taking me through the process and ensuring that everything was done properly and professionally but also gave me a lot of confidence that I was in safe hands, something that matters to me more than most things. I Was approved for my mortgage and was contacted and kept in the loop by Andy. We recently got our first mortgage using the mortgage hut. We were so happy with the service, as being first time buyers, we didn't know much about the process. Oliver and Nichola have been amazing, clearly explaining the process and being easily contactable. We got a great offer and haven't had any issues. Buying a house is stressful at the best of times, but Oliver and his team made it a smooth and easy process. Best of all, we got the service for free as I am an NHS employee!

I first contacted The Mortgage Hut/Police mortgages after seeing it advertised with work. We are first time buyers and were very confused by the whole process. Giacomo was great help whilst gathering everything that we needed to go forward with the application. He was very understanding and guided us through the process and kept us updated throughout. We were then passed onto Andy who was also great help and kept us updated throughout the initial application until our offer being sent. Amazing service would highly recommended and very knowledgeable within their areas!

Oliver and Nichola were very helpful with securing our mortgage and remained considerate of our feelings and stresses throughout the whole journey. Our mortgage offer took 6 weeks due to reasons out of anyone’s control but they put our minds at ease daily and kept us completley in the loop. As a first time buyer and having very little knowledge of mortgages, I decided to look into getting mortgage advice.

I made an enquiry and within a day, Giacomo was already in touch with me and arranged a phone call. Giacomo explained absolutely everything to me and was eager to clarify anything that I didn’t understand. Prior to contacting the mortgage hut, I had very little knowledge on what to look for when choosing a mortgage however Giacomo did this for us and found us the best rate which was most suited to us. He was regularly in touch with me, keeping me updated on the progress of our mortgage application and was on hand to answer any questions or queries that we had.

Once our mortgage had been applied for, our case was then passed onto Andy. Andy was in contact with us immediately, introducing himself and explaining his role. Again, Andy was in regular contact with us, sending weekly emails and chasing things up on their half. Andy has answered many of our queries and I am confident that once the mortgage application as come to an end, I would still be able to contact him should I have any further queries.

Both Giacomo and Andy have made applying for our mortgage a stress free experience and I could not recommend them enough.

More interested about a review, rather than the customer. So found this company on a Google search. After entering my details I get a call shortly after. They already asked me to leave them a review, why do I leave a review before I receive any kind of service? Slow in response, and supposedly a specialist mortgage shop.

I would highly recommend Police Mortgages/the Mortgage Hut.
I had two amazing people working on my case, Giacomo Stevens and Andy Holding who were both amazing - Words cannot describe in my view how good there service was. They were there to give advice and guidance, fought my concern with the mortgage lender, always there to answer my questions via emails or phone calls and I did phone them a lot.
They were both very reassuring and knew exactly what they were doing and made the process so easy ! and within 3 weeks from start to finish I got by buy to let mortgage approved, something I did not expect to happen and I got an amazing rate too, others that I have mentioned cannot believe the rate I got, it just goes to show that they can find you the best deal out there.
Hands down the best. I was new coming into the BTL market and they made it so easy and stress free.
You both have been amazing and I am very grateful, I will defo be coming back again.

It's fair to say that my mortgage application had a few unique aspects to it that made it not your typical application. My broker Giacomo took it all in his stride, and I was grateful for his calm, no fuss demeanour throughout the whole process. The mortgage administrator Andy was also a great help. Friendly, fast and efficient. I would not hesitate to use these guys again or to recommend them.

Mortgage Hut were very easy to deal with from start to finish and I was kept in touch at every stage.
Process was very straight forward and well explained. I was given lots of choices and option. When there was an issue that needed urgently resolving my broker jumped straight onto it and resolved it personally and quickly. Overall my experience was very positive and would highly recommend.
