Fish arrived alive!! Didn't take too long to get the package, he was a bit smaller than I expected, but he happened to be big enough to survive in the tank with bigger tank-mates.

Shipping took forever

Shipping took forever, fish would never eat and eventually died a couple weeks later.

We do want to mention that your order was shipped within the timeframe outlined on our website, which includes our quarantine and preparation process to ensure fish are healthy prior to leaving our facility.

That said, we truly wish we had been notified as soon as you noticed the discus wasn’t eating. Early signs like that are often something we can help troubleshoot right away, and in many cases, we’re able to identify the cause and turn the situation around with a few adjustments.

We always encourage customers to reach out at the first sign of concern so we can provide guidance and support in real time.

If you buy from here have meds ready.

Healthy tank got fish from here had a massive epistylis break out after adding them in. Should have quarantine lesson learned.

Epistylis can be frustrating to deal with, and you’re absolutely right that quarantining can be a good precaution when introducing new fish. Many of our customers have successfully acclimated their new fish from us without a quarantine after receiving their fish since we quarantine the fish prior to shipping on this end.

In many cases, though, epistylis is actually secondary to underlying environmental or bacterial conditions. It tends to show up when there’s elevated organic waste, stress, or existing bacterial activity in the tank, which can sometimes be triggered when new fish are introduced and the system gets temporarily out of balance.

Although our fish are quarantined and carefully observed before shipping, situations like this are never something we want for our customers. That said, the addition of new fish can create stress for both the newcomers and existing tank mates, which can sometimes bring out underlying issues that weren’t visible beforehand.

We do wish we had heard from you right away when the fish arrived or at the first signs of trouble. We’re always happy to help troubleshoot things like water parameters, filtration, and treatment options in real time. Many times, with early intervention, these situations can be managed much more easily.

If you’re open to it, we’d still be glad to help you get things back on track. Feel free to reach out to us anytime. We’re here to help.

I ordered 8 dwarf neon rainbowfish…

I ordered 8 dwarf neon rainbowfish recently. I followed the websites directions on getting the fish ready for my tank. All 8 are beautiful healthy fish schooling in my tank right now.
I will definitely order from iFish Store again soon.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience, but we do want to clarify a few important points for accuracy.

We stayed in consistent communication with you throughout this order and your previous one back in October. During that prior order, we replaced your discus as a courtesy (you only covered shipping), even after discussing that proper acclimation is critical—especially with sensitive fish like discus.

For this most recent order, you reached out to let us know that losses occurred a full week after delivery. As outlined in our policy and care guidelines, issues reported beyond the arrival window are typically related to tank conditions, acclimation, or environmental factors—not shipping or fish health at the time of arrival.

We did not receive photos or information within the required timeframe to evaluate a live arrival issue, and unfortunately, we’re not able to extend additional replacements in situations like this—particularly after a prior courtesy replacement was already provided.

We always aim to be fair and supportive, and we truly do our best to help customers succeed. However, we also have to remain consistent with our policies.

If you’d ever like help reviewing your tank setup, water parameters, or acclimation process, we’re still happy to assist.

As soon as you provided photo proof, we issued a refund for those fish in accordance with our Live Arrival Guarantee. We made every effort to respond promptly, answer your questions, and work toward a fair resolution.

Losses that occur days after arrival can often be related to factors outside of shipping, such as acclimation, tank conditions, or equipment issues, which is why we always encourage customers to reach out right away so we can help troubleshoot.

We always aim to provide both healthy fish and responsive support, and we stand by the assistance we provided in this case.
