I received my order this morning and can honestly say I'm blown away! The scent coming from the parcel alone was incredible, and, I've also used one of the bars to wash my hands with as I couldn't wait! The lather is so indulgent, super rich and hydrating for my usually dry skin. My skin has been feeling super comfortable and not at all itchy since I used the soap. I'm looking very much forward to ordering again soon. Thank you!

The soaps and other products are lovely. They make my baths feel more luxurious. The scents are wonderful I appreciate the natural ingredients used. I love handmade soap, the smell, the texture, the love of creating in every bar...There are so many gifted soap-makers in Scotland. This one is one of the best.

Hey, who doesn't want to smell and feel the cool scottish breeze on an autumn evening exfoliating your skin or the crisp tingle of the sea lathered between their toes? You know I do. A bearded Scotsman, rugged yet I like the sensitive feel of these soaps on my skin. Vegan friendly, ethically sourced, sounds great on my moral compass and they're MacLellans! Wonderful people!

I'm no gonna mess about here, just buy their soaps and see for yourself. I can yap on but the more you sit here reading the less time you'll have experiencing what I have...and aye, ye should be a little jelly. Go on, and mind to write a review, they deserve it.

Copycat branding, marketing and making... This is a poor attempt at a carbon copy of another much loved soap company here in Glasgow.. I could not believe my eyes when I saw this! Such a shame to rip off an independent maker who has worked tirelessly on her brand and products!

Update: Reply to Chiara - I'm sure your soap is perfectly lovely in its own right and that's fine but have some originality! Everything about your brand presentation; your soap names, additional products, and even market stall are carbon copies of another brands hard work. Its a shame to mimic another so closely and to block anyone who tries to challenge this on your social media platform. Trust pilot feels like an appropriate place to make my feelings about the ethics of 'your' brand clear. I will not be the only one to notice this.

Edit yet again as Chiara keeps changing and updating her messages - I would like to point out that I have neither trolled nor harassed her business on social media - I have merely stated my opinion on a trusted review site and she has blocked me and also sought to intimate me by publishing my full name online. I will stand by what I have said and I am deeply concerned for the behaviour I've seen around this issue.

I have received soaps from the dark Island soap company they smell amazing and were beautifully packaged.
I have also received reiki distance healing which was lovely, so relaxing and rebalanced my chakras and cleared any blockages .

Not only is the owner the most lovely person, but everything about this company is wonderful. From where and why they started to their products. Clearly love and care go into every little detail, not to mention the products are wonderful themselves! The soap samples I have are amazing plus cannot wait to use the gorgeous shampoo bar! And their fab range of products isn’t enough, only natural products are used PLUS they plant a tree for every single order!!!! Could not recommend more
