the venue was getting done up loads…
the venue was getting done up loads mess and ladders around think they should of closed it to the public until they done what was needed to be done first lane we got put on wasnt working then got moved to another lane that didn't work straight away kids got very impatient and stressed out

No issues with bowling
No issues with bowling, everything worked as expected. The venue is under construction building new parts, they are disguising the construction noise with music which means it’s really loud inside. Hopefully music will become more reasonable once the new attractions are complete

I understand that you have to refurbish…
I understand that you have to refurbish the area but the noise was distracting the bar was dreadfully expensive no draft breathe bottles was expensive wait on food and trying to eat in the arcade was uncomfortable as children was just running riot around us, had too many children’s party’s on at once considering that they were in a refurbishment,machines at end of our lane kept distracting us from the games as the made the most unusual sounds plus children was running around our lane wiring to put tickets in the machine to say how much the bowling cost plus food and drinks it was rather off putting especially for over £140+

Had a really good time
Had a really good time, we did have a faulty lane however and no staff were available to support when we asked for assistance- this did delay the game but overall we had a very good deal and a nice time.

DISGUSTING SERVICE
Careless staff. Had booked food, which was pre booked with games. So staff was aware, they also told us food will be brought to us half way through. With nowhere to sit as we was on the row with no seating. The children had no option but to sit on the floor and eat. Which when it’s a public place and different shoes on the floor, it was the worst place but the only option. We asked regarding a table we was next to, and refused due to it being reserved. However out of the 2 rows of tables that was ‘reserved’ there was only 1 row used.

I booked a Staff Party online at Rochdale Tenpin.
Friday 9th January at 4pm for 8 people.
We arrived to find NO HEATING, MAJOR IMPROVEMENT WORKS HAPPENING ( noise from drills and workmen banter ) LIMITED SPACE TO SIT and NO BAR (some bottles available) We had pre-paid for 3 games so had to suffer the environment for over 2 hours! Why doesn't online inform people of possible disruption? NEVER AGAIN

Was told the wrong lane so Waited 40…
Was told the wrong lane so Waited 40 mins past our start time then my daughter noticed our name on a totally different lane.
Was unable to complete both games of bowling during the visit due to starting so late.
Work is being done on several lanes so venue was very loud and overwhelming for us.

Renovation works probably didn’t help
Renovation works probably didn’t help, but food was microwaved and almost warm, the lane has faulty bumpers (one stuck partially up), the ball return system didn’t work just collected the balls behind the pins - poor experience really

We had a really good time
We had a really good time. My 2 year old loved the bowling and the older ones enjoyed the pizza as well.

Bumpers not working
After the first go the bumpers wouldn’t go back for our player that needed them. We were moved to another lane and same happened there half way through. So then they set it so bumpers were up for all players, which then ruined the competition for the other players

Kicked off lane
We booked online for 1 game for 3 people. Before we was even half way through our game we were told we'd have to leave before finishing our game as there was a large booking coming and they needed the lane free. When approaching the desk to let someone know we had left the girl behind the counter point blank ignored us until I just decided to speak to her without her acknowledgement. We were offered a free game upon return however it was a visit and I do not live in the area. There shouldn't of been available times on the website of they knew they were fully booked. & The manager didn't come to deal with us herself she sent another member of staff over.
