The coaching session 1:2 with my son was spot on and met the brief we provided perfectly.

Didn't really know where to start and this has provided the perfect platform to progress

Mary-Anne was brilliant. Our group was 8, 14,15 and 50 so not easy to please everyone, but she handled it really well. The kids loved the easy introduction to the bikes and the primary skills and then as we got further into the forest the speed and thrills increased. Highly recommend a guided tour.

I recently hired a bike for my daughter so she could have her first run of the green and blue trails.
Booking online was easy as was check-in and check-out.
The bike seemed ideal and in good condition with everything working as it should.
Overall happy with the experience.

Rental bikes were great for us as beginners. Trails were fun and well maintained. A 2hr session was enough for us to do all of the green and blue trails with rests between each section. Could easily see us coming back to spend more time here. Trail markers were well signposted and easy to follow. Staff running the hub were friendly and helpful. Would recommend to anyone thinking of having a go.

Really enjoyed it, great service. Hired 2bikes one for me and one for my son. It was quick and easy, bikes were in good order.

This is my 2nd time renting bike from SBH. First time I booked in the shop which takes a bit of a time. In my second visit I booked online and I got my bike in 30 secs. Bikes are great, staff is helpful.

Detailed explanation on how the bike operated, impressed with the quick adjustment saddle. Enjoyed the blue route, tougher then expected, but enjoyed the challenge.

Matt was great with our 12 year old boys, they thoroughly enjoyed the 1:2 coaching session and came away feeling confident and excited.

The lads were very helpful after a failed online transaction. Bike was perfect and very well looked after. I hired for 2 hours which was enough for what we were doing.

I had a fantastic experience with Swinley Bike Hub. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to help from the moment I arrived. They made the whole experience easy and enjoyable, and the bikes were in excellent condition—well maintained, comfortable, and great fun to ride.

The blue jumps track at Swinley Forest, Bracknell, was brilliant. It’s well designed, flows really well, and is perfect for building confidence while still being exciting and enjoyable. Whether you’re new to mountain biking or have plenty of experience, it’s a great place to ride.

My son had an absolutely amazing day. He loved the ride out and then got to practice his jumps. He didn't know anyone but made new friends and wants to do it again.

Really easy pick up/drop off process, bike was as described and zero issues whatsoever.

The routes available range from Green to Red (with some pretty severe terrain to be found on Barossa, just don’t run over any squaddies!)

Overall well worth the money, will likely be back!

We had a 2-hour coaching session with Tom for our 12-year-old son, and it was excellent. Tom was fantastic with him throughout the session. He made safety a priority, was really encouraging, and adapted his coaching to suit our son’s ability. Our son absolutely loved it and came away feeling much more confident.

Tom also gave us clear guidance on what to work on next, particularly cornering, and told us about the open riding sessions at The Summit, which sound like a great opportunity to put those skills into practice.

The only observation I’d make is that, for our son, two hours was quite intense and he was pretty tired by the end. That certainly wasn’t down to Tom—he was very responsive and would happily have let him take a break if needed. Looking back, I think an hour of coaching followed by an hour to independently practise and consolidate the skills he’d just learnt might work really well for children of a similar age.

Overall, we’d highly recommend Tom. He’s knowledgeable, patient, encouraging, and brilliant at building both skills and confidence.

First time to Swinley Forrest - loved it!

A beautiful setting and a proper work out riding around the trails. I hadn't appreciated how physical it would be but it was great.

The bike hire and pick up was faultless. We will definitely go again. Thank you
