Another good holiday with Sunrisee
As usual our journey went without a hitch, from pick up point and the journey to interchange and then the onward journey to destination, all with complete efficiency.
We were pleased with hotel, we had a sea view, it was clean, staff very very nice and friendly, food was good.
We enjoyed the daily excursions .
The return journey also went without a hitch.
I have has numerous holidays with Sunrise and only every found fault with one hotel.

Appalling
Appalling. The Grand hotel Scarborough is anything but grand. The food was slops. The rooms tired and dirty. Dogs running loose. This company let's itself down by using this hotel. Even our driver refused to speak to the young man with a bad attitude. I'm not sure if he was the manager but he was totally uncaring. As was the response to our complaints about this hotel. A member of staff from Sunrise should stay. It's the only way they would know how appallingly bad it is.

SunriseDirect provided an okay experience on this trip. The excursions were enjoyable, and the driver was friendly and helpful. However, the hotel quality varied, with some disappointing food and basic room facilities. Most staff were kind, but bar service was lacking. While I've had better trips with SunriseDirect, this one missed the mark overall.

Disappointed doest even cover it
We arevm 80years of age and ut eas the worst holiday we have ever had. We went to the Isle of Man. There was no itinerary worth speaking of. We had to find our own amusement of which there wasnt anywhere nice.They were dead places we stopped at no restaurants or cafes open apart from Douglas. One day when it was pouring with rain and nithing to see we found a station cafe which was filthy the dirty plates still on the table and no where to clear ours as all the tables were full of dirty plates. There was no where else to get a cup of coffee and it was raining and there wasnt anywhere else to go. It wasn't worth the money we paid we
could have gone abroad for the price we paid. I would advise anybody not to go. I'd never use Sunrise again.

We note you travelled with us in summer 2024 and would always encourage you to let us have your feedback as soon as you are able. This allows us the opportunity to investigate and try to make any improvements for future tours.
The itinerary we put together was to showcase as much of the island as possible. As well as allowing time to relax in Douglas, we also included visits to Cregneash, Peel, Castletown, Port Erin, Laxey, Ramsey and St John's. We regret you did not enjoy this and we will of course pass your feedback to our Product Team.

Very good driver, accommodation at Warners was excellent. Trip were ok bearing in mind that the weather was not the best.
Coach was good except the seats were very close together like on an airplane. It was hard to move about and therefore had a stiff back

Went to Torquay with Sunrise holidays on 10th March 2025.
I cannot say enough good things about it . Yes the rooms are basic but very clean. The food is second to none. I just cannot praise it enough, big portions , a good selection,always hot ,plus the staff are wonderful. so helpful and so polite .Entertainment was good and what was lovely, everyone got on well together . I would go again to The Ashley Court Hotel, only a 2 star but you cant go wrong. I can recommend it. Cant wait to go again .

My recent holiday in Southport
Sunrise booking staff were helpful and friendly.Our driver was Andy.He drove very well, particularly as he had to contend with Storm Eowyn on return journey. He was also friendly and helpful.We had sufficient time for each of day trips,which were Liverpool,Bury Market and Blackpool and Lytham St Anne's.I particularly enjoyed visiting Bury Market,which was full of bargains.Our hotel, the Prince of Wales,was very grand.It has recently been renovated.I looked into the beautiful ballroom.There are long wide carpeted corridors in the hotel and pictures on the walls.My room was clean, warm and comfortable. There was a good variety of hot and cold food at the buffet.The hotel appeared to be short staffed, but those whom I met worked hard and were pleasant.My room was not serviced while I was there but I was able to collect clean towels and more tea and coffee from Reception.I would recommend this holiday. The hotel and my room were both good
The hotel and my room were both good. The staff were lovely and helpful and our coach driver Andy did a grand job.
My only problem was that the evening meal
didn't suit me.

Not ideal pick up and drop off area.
We were very upset with the coach pick up point, we were dropped off at by the taxi in Chessington Road Cambridge, there was no facilities there, ie; No toilets,no where to get get refreshments and no shelter, if it had been raining we and our luggage would have got soaked. We waited half an hour for the coach to arrive. Why we got dropped off there, I've no idea because it's usually at Cambridge service's.

Our main departure point in Cambridge is at the Coach Bays in Chesterton Road, as advertised in our brochure, however, our interchange point is Cambridge Services. You are always very welcome to join the coach there; we just need to be advised at time of booking.
Unfortunately traffic hold ups can affect timings and sometimes cause delays, and we are very sorry the coach was late collecting you. Our Operations team are continually working to improve our transport network and your feedback is very much appreciated.
