Surprisingly Good!
I found this review page AFTER ordering, and got nervous. I was going on vacation and ordered 2 swimsuits a little over a week before I left. I paid extra for expedited shipping. I was obsessively tracking the order after a few days went by with no updates. It ended up arriving after a week, one day before my trip. The shipping timelines are not fantastic.
However, LOVED the swimsuits. Good quality, looked exactly like the photos. Good enough tummy control. I was shocked to see the reviews so low here.
Would order again, but maybe not if I was in a rush.
Cute suits but some quality issues
I purchased a swimsuit which was super cute and flattering but the color faded in white splotches after only a couple of wears (I wore it mostly in the pool, so could be from the chlorine). The initial customer service rep was responsive but not helpful and did not stand by the quality of the product (they pointed me to the FAQs about suit care and offered a 20% discount). It took a few email exchanges to get to someone who was actually willing to replace the suit. The reviews for this suit point to a similar issue so what I experienced was clearly not an isolated incident.
MISLEADING and NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Here we are in 2025 and another e.commerce business is a sad joke. BEWARE.
A few things to save someone else a headache ...
1 - Misleading Shipping Times: no point in paying $ for 2-Day shipping (they sent it DHL and it will still take over a week and then transferred to USPS to deliver - you have a better chance of winning the lottery then getting your suit/s). JOKE. We will be gone and back from vacation by then.
2 - No Customer Service Availability: IF you at all want to ask about (#1) this is your response and you can only email them "We typically respond within 4 business days.” Just come out and say ... we don't care about you and give us 4-days for YOU to forget about it and buy your vacation suit from Amazon.
3 - Poor Communication on processes: here is some more fine print ... "Orders placed over the weekend will be processed by our fulfillment center as soon as possible on the following business day, but may require up to 14 business days to process. Please note that delivery time begins when the package is picked up by the carrier, not when the shipping label is created."
... 14-day catchall + another week to ship for a 2-Day?? what kind of ridiculous e.commerce businesses is going on here. Really cute marketing with a lot of photoshop but a misleading disaster behind the scenes.

Took two full months to show up. Paid $95 for a sweater that is in no way worth more than $30. Massive failure. Wow.
Ludicrously long processing times
Ludicrously long processing times. Placed my order on 30/9 and is now 3rd November and still hasn't shipped - over a month to put a pair of swimmers in an envelope... holiday over before the swimmers arrive. Reached out to customer service and they offered a $20 discount - useless as will never use company again. Asked to cancel order/refund as delivery not in time frames specified and they are now just completely ignoring me. Horrific customer service - do not use.
Also do not trust the on-site reviews as they pick and chose what they want to post... My review with a one star certainly hasn't made the list

Would give a zero if I could, 3 months and still no product. I have reached out to customer service 8 times with no response other than codes for 10% next time. There will be no next time, filled complaint with BBB. Deceptive company.

Ordered on 9/24 and it’s now 10/20, and my order still hasn’t shipped. I have contacted customer service twice. They gave me free shipping and $20 off. I didn’t want the discount- I want my swimwear! I asked for them to cancel my order and they claim it’s been fulfilled, they are having issues with shipping. Well regardless they have lost this long time customer and my credit card company is taking care of getting my funds back
Awful experience
Awful experience. Placed order 2529217 on 5 October, still not shipped 11 days later. Would never ever order from this company again. No Customer Service other than email, which they take 2 days to respond to and are no help whatsoever. I have asked for a refund in full in accordance with my rights but I'm not holding my breath.
Extremely Slow Shipping & Poor Communication
I placed an order with Summersalt on September 25th and still hadn’t received any tracking information three weeks later. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was repeatedly told my order was “packaged and prepared to ship” and that tracking would come “soon.” That message was sent over a week ago — and still nothing.
When I asked to cancel, they said it was “too late,” yet the order clearly hadn’t shipped. It’s frustrating that a U.S.-based company can’t fulfill a single bathing suit order in a reasonable timeframe or communicate transparently. I was eventually refunded the shipping cost, but not the order itself — even after three requests.
I would not recommend ordering from Summersalt unless you’re prepared to wait weeks and probably never receive your order.

I tried to order a bathing suit top and I asked that it be expedited. Not only has the order not shipped but I cannot get in touch with any person at the company.
I was sent the wrong size (14) not 14…
I was sent the wrong size (14) not 14 long torso. Customer service insisted they were just mislabeled "14" and really are long torso. I can tell by the fit they are not long torso. I have many other 14LT suits from this company and can tell the difference. I can't return one of the suits because I already wore it not realizing it was not 14LT. These suits are not cheap. Thoroughly disappointed. I'll have to find another company that makes long torso suits as I will no longer support Summersalt. There is also nobody you can talk to on the phone at their company for customer service.
TERRIBLE SERVICE!
This is one of the WORST companies I have ever had to deal with. I placed my order almost a month ago and the item hasn't even left the US or been passed to the 'last' mile carrier. There is no phone number, only an email, which gets no attention unless you post something on social media. At this point I just want a refund because I can only imagine the hassle I'm going to have if I need to return or exchange something. Be prepared to get the run around, lack of response to inquires, no useful solutions, and a just 'wait & see' attitude to your order delays. I should have read the Google reviews first. And considering the cost, you'd think the service would be decent. Never again.
New client purchased swimsuit
I waited a long time for my swimsuit. I didn't say anything even though I was charged by Affirm. I thought it was being shipped from Europe. Finally received was not happy with quality looked worn pulls up left side of cup poorly made. Bad customer service beware
One month later - still no merchandise
More than a month since I placed my order and still no swimsuit. I did reach out to them, and they apologized for the delay and offered me $20 off my next $125 purchase. That is so much nerve. Also, their tracking system is terrible and really doesn't tell you anything. I will NEVER order from them again even if the suit ends up being the best thing since sliced bread.

I have not even received my swimsuits yet so this is only a review of their shipping and customer service. The swimsuits didn’t ship for a full month after I ordered them. Also, once they shipped they have been sitting at the UPS office or something for a few days. When I wrote to customer service, they apologized and offered me 20% off my next order. I’m never ordering from here again, so why would I use that? This has been a very frustrating experience.

Very deceptive pricing for UK…
Very deceptive pricing for UK customers.
As with many others, I was swayed by the lovely designs and posts from 'real' people wearing the swimwear. I had chosen a one piece, and decided to go for it and pay the high price. However a 30% discount was offered due, with no refund due to stock clearance. All of that was fine.
The price was shown on USD and a quick Google conversion put the GBP price at £75, with 30% off, down to £53 - bargain! Putting in my details, shipping of £7 was added. No problem.
I then put in my address and price remained at £60 all in...until I click payment. Then the price went up to £90!!! With the swimsuit now showing as £105 full price!!!???
After several emails, I was fobbed off with taxes added, clear pricing, duties, shipping, one cost. Noone could explain to me why the price of the swimsuit INCREASED which is completely misleading, unfair and wrong.
The ridiculous thing is that I then had an email asking to be 'Summersalt friends' and as a gesture of 'friendship' they would give me $10 off my NEXT purchase!
No thanks.
