I am so very angry. I provided detailed information as to my needs. The salesperson assured me she knew best and told it would work for my wheelchair. Well after waiting almost a month, got it installed a 90-minute ride from my home, and get back home, the wheelchair does not fit. I have contacted them and they have not taken responsibility. They offered to return and charge me 20% plus almost $400 freight. The lift install has put holes in my vehicle with screws and they cut the molding to put the lift in without my permission. Who pays for the damage to my brand new vehicle if it is taken out. It was not my mistake, it was theirs. I used to have great respect for spinlife, but this experience has ruined it. I desperately need a device that will work with the lift now. I asked them to provide, and they ignored me. Lot of back in forth to get nothing. I now have to seek legal advice because they will not do the right thing on their own. When you sale to the disabled population you would think the service would be optimum.
UPDATE: Thank you Ms. Julia for your responsiveness. After back and forth a week Ms. Julia from the corporate office call me Thursday, we made a agreement and on Monday she delivered. This is how it is supposed to work. I will move them from 1 star to 3 star.Update2: A one star again. The fix is not a fix. The cheap way does not fix it. Ms. Julia sent me a scooter., but it does not work at the doctors, at the restaurants, .etc. For walking people it would work but not for my current state. Also it is to big for the lift and cumbersome to make work I need a power chair. That is what works for me. I purchased the lift to work with my power chair. Please help.

I purchased a powerchair vehicle lift from Spinlife a year ago and have sent in several reviews about the poor quality and how the lift is no longer useable. I only use this lift 3 to 4 times a month, nowhere near what it is advertised weight and normal use (everyday) advertised, and one year later the frame and has bent so bad that it hits the ground when swinged open and I can't put my powerchair on it because it bends down so much it hits the ground. this is the frame that is bent. I have sent in several reviews on Spinlife website so that customers know about this unit, but they will not post my review because it is negative review but someone who posted a positive review after I sent my negative review gets posted right away. I wonder how many negative reviews they have not posted that may have given me to the information to not by this poor-quality lift. I am now stuck with a lift that is not usable and had to buy a new lift.

I like the products and find quality very good. I was disappointed when I found "Free Shipping" also required a surcharge of 15 dollars.
I just found out it was an issue of my rural area caused the 15 dollar charge. Graciously, as Spinlife does, refunded the 15 dollars. Surprised and pleased.

I purchased a Drive Medical Scooter for my disabled mother from Spin Life in May 2023. In September 2024, the batteries began to die. I contacted Spin Life to purchase new (2) batteries. I advised them my mother needs the new batteries asap. They had the scooter purchase in their system so were aware of the battery type for the scooter. Over a week later, the batteries arrived, but the battery posts on the new batteries were not compatible with the batteries from the original purchase for replacing. I contacted Spin Life again, sent pictures of their batteries and the originals, still in the battery box so they can see the difference. After several phone calls, email etc they agreed to send me batteries again. Over a week goes by and I receive the delivery. Only 1 battery was sent (scooter needs 2 batteries) and it was still the wrong type. Called again and spoke with Tinuke. She was somewhat helpful, but clueless on how to help me. I requested to speak with someone in charge but they would not find the time to speak with me. After several days of back and forth emails, calls, I finally requested for them to just ship me a complete battery box at their expense, due to their incompetence of not just shipping the incompatible batteries (twice), but also that they sold me the original scooter in the 1st place with a battery style that is discontinued and is NOT possible to purchase compatible batteries for. Tinuke advised they would do this, but after a few days she called me and said that they finally found the compatible batteries I need, but requested that I pay them an additional $220 (in addition to the $100 I already paid). I was upset and just asked for my money back. They have no desire to provide proper service and I now have to go a competitor and purchase a complete battery box.

A rep from SpinLife replied to this review and requested that I call them, which I did. I left a voice message and they never returned my call, which only reinforces my opinion of this company.
Also, their batteries were returned/received on Oct 1st and the 2nd battery was received on Oct 4th. Today is Oct 16th and they still have not issued me a refund on the returned batteries. I had to contact my credit card and open up a dispute. Again, they have the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered.
