Avoid at all costs if you value honest billing and basic customer service.

We are a long-standing corporate client of Spaces/Regus, with offices in Cape Town, Pretoria and Umhlanga. The facilities at Spaces Dock Road Junction are great and, in general, the on-site staff are friendly and helpful – but all of that is completely overshadowed by the way billing and queries are handled.

We are repeatedly billed in duplicate and overcharged for services. We have emailed, phoned, and raised detailed billing queries on multiple occasions. The centre manager simply does not respond to these queries, and despite numerous follow-ups we receive no meaningful feedback or correction.

We have tried to escalate the matter beyond the centre manager, but even those escalations go nowhere – nobody gets back to us, and the incorrect billing continues. At this stage, it feels like the business model relies on clients giving up rather than being heard.

If you decide to sign with Spaces Dock Road Junction, be prepared to scrutinise every invoice and to spend a huge amount of time chasing answers that, in our experience, never come.

Spaces Dock road Junction would be nothing without Alida and Waseemah… the team is absolutely awesome and make for the perfect space for our company and I’m sure many others.

The ladies are always helpful, human and professional. We’re very content knowing they are the ones who our clients are greeted by as they enter the building.

I rented a co-working desk in Spaces, Cape Town V&A location at the end of May. When I’ve submitted a request, I specifically mentioned that I only want to rent for 1 month as I’m a tourist on a short-term stay. There was a complication as my contract was extended for another month and I wasn't aware of it. Luckily, a sales manager Alida helped me to get a refund. Although, the communication was a bit painful, it all ended well. Overall, the location is brilliant and the office environment is quiet.
