The system works well, but we lost communication between our solar and solar analytics. We did what their trouble shooting guide suggested but no change. Despite 3 emails and an attempted phone call we still havnt heard from their support team.

My experience with Solar Analytics has been extremely disappointing.

My solar monitoring system has not worked since 25 October 2025, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, it remains unresolved months later.

I was instructed by their support team to purchase a High Gain Antenna to fix a signal issue — this did not work, and reimbursement has since been refused.

A warranty claim has been ongoing since early February with no outcome, and Solar Analytics has attempted to redirect responsibility to Wattwatchers, even though the product was purchased directly from them.

I have been offered a replacement device, but no realistic installation solution has been provided, with one installer indicating availability as late as October 2026.

At this point, I have effectively paid for a service that has not been delivered for several months.

I am still willing to resolve this matter, but it requires urgent action.

Analytics device disconnected repeatedly requiring manual resets frequently. After a few years it stopped working altogether. Customer service said they would refund my lifetime subscription ($500NZ - hard sold by the solar installer, couldn't get the system without it, I was told) but once I provided my bank details they went silent. No customer service, no analytics service. Avoid like the plague.

A great shame. Great service and support until they were bought out, then nothing, zip, zero, nada. I have data missing from my dashboard Energy Use. I have lodged 2 'Support Requests' zero response. It's actually still working, cept the missing data, but I paid for this and like to have a complete record. Not life threatening, but very annoying. SA you really need to lift your game, a lot!! I used to recommend the old SA, but no way I would recommend you guys now ;-(

I have a 4G KR-63 unit that I purchased in February 2022 with a lifetime subscription. It developed a communication issue on the 25th February 2025. I have tried all the steps listed on the website but can’t restore communication. I contacted Solar Analytics on the 1st March and emailed photos on the 3rd March and are still waiting upon a response. Previously Solar Analytics was always prompt with their replies. It is now the 26th April with no reply, if I do get one I will update the review

The unit did not even last 5 years which is now the downgraded warranty period. Fair Trading have been contacted.
