I absolutely love the slimming world…
I absolutely love the slimming world plan and the flexibility it gives me to eat the food I love, even chocolate! I love going to group as not only do other members share ideas but it helps me to stay focused. Our slimming world consultant Tina Moore, Brownsover Rugby Friday 9.30 is the best consultant I’ve had. She has done the journey herself and understands you, very knowledgeable about the plan, always takes time to listen and doesn’t mind you contacting her outside of group with any concerns.

Slimming world amazing consultant Maz in Rugby
My group is on a Wednesday at 9am at Methodist church on hillmorton road in rugby with my consultant Maz Wilkins.
Lovely group and an amazing consultant
I help on the social team in the second session at 9am and stay and help in the third session that starts at 10:30am. The members are all lovely and have made some very good friends
The consultant Maz is a very experienced long service consultant. Maz also sends motivational daily posts on our private Facebook group every morning.
I would definitely recommend this group to anyone thinking of joining sw or moving to a different group. If you go to your gp and ask about slimming world some people can get a 12 week subscription free if you fit into the relevant criteria. Slimming world helps change your mind set to eating healthy and changes the way you eat and is a lifelong plan.

The online version is terrible
The online version is terrible. Every single time I try to log in it doesn't recognise my details, I'm DEFINITELY entering the correct things too. I keep having to change my password and even then I can't get in. It locks me out regularly. I phoned them and asked if I could be logged in permanently but they said no, hiding behind GDPR. I don't have this problem with other websites. I'm sick of it. Every time I sign up online over the years I've had this problem. BTW you're only signed out for 5 minutes, they don't tell you that unless you phone up. I suggested their IT Dept should mention it on the website. Terrible online presence, not user friendly at all. Go with Weight Watchers, they can't be any worse.

The Slimming World Program in the USA!…
The Slimming World program is so flexible and centers around foods that we all shop for any way! I live in the US and I’m still able to Food Optimize + use the tracker (barring the scanner) pretty seamlessly!

I’ve had a really positive experience with Slimming World. Gillian and Phil are fantastic coaches, always supportive, encouraging, and genuinely invested in helping members succeed. The group is very welcoming, and the other members make it such a friendly and comfortable environment. I have felt supported by the couches since day one. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Slimming World with Kay Storr E Yorkshire
My local group is in Howden E Yorks & run by Kay Storr. It’s a fabulously friendly group with a lot of support from members but especially from Kay. There is a group Facebook page for members only to share recipes, tips & information. Kay encourages everyone to contribute to the weekly group meetings but also to engage online through the Facebook Group. Unlike some other consultants I have been with, Kay contacts members regularly throughout the week & is available for any member struggling with food options or going through a difficult time.
There are regular events organised between groups such as the weekly walking sessions, trips out for meals (all SW friendly) annual Christmas Party & Summer Barbecue. Kay puts a lot of time & effort into her groups, she has a friendly outgoing personality & is able to put everyone at ease. I would highly recommend her groups.

I have been going to the Saturday…
I have been going to the Saturday morning group of Slimming World at Ingleby Barwick for a number of years. I love the family vibe we have led by our brilliant group leader Adele. I reached my target weight 3 years ago but still attend each week as the support of the group keeps me focused on maintaining a steady weight, and constantly finding new ideas to keep meals interesting.

I didn't think I'd be able to shift the weight...
I didn't think I'd be able to shift any weight at 45. Weight I'd put on since having my daughter. But after half a stone loss in the first week I was committed! I've lost a stone in 5 weeks and already feel incredible with another 1 1/2 stone to go.
The plan is simple to use and the app helps me track and plan.
Vanessa at the Petersfield group, immediately made me feel welcome and motivated and each week I choose to stay on after weigh in as she is so passionate, engaging, and motivational.
Thank you Vanessa, you are right. If you follow the plan, you will get results.

Life Saver
When I was told I was pre Diabetic I decided to loose weight rather than take more tablets. I managed to loose 2 stones but then got stuck so I gave SlimmingWorld a go and with Sylv our consultant II lost the further weight I needed, and now 6 years down the line I have no diabetic concerns.
