I ordered from Slapiton.tv on 21 Nov and got confirmation by email same day. On 23 Nov I got an email to say my item had been despatched. I received my item on 25 Nov. I had no problem with payment albeit I prefer to use Paypal but that was not an option. Lots of negative reviews on here and had I read them I probably would not have ordered but I didn't have a problem - then again it is a christmas gift and I hope it is what is says on the box.

I had used this company a couple of times before and whilst the delivery was slow, I was prepared to wait for better prices.

However, my latest experience I think highlights that this company does not care about customers and is prepared to take your money without delivering the product.

I ordered a product on 15th August. After 2 weeks nothing arrived so I tried to contact customer service. No reply to 3 emails and messages through their website. In the emails I asked them to cancel the order.

After another week and 2 more emails, I got an email back saying that my order was about to be dispatched. This was despite the fact that I was asking to cancel. I replied to ask if it had been sent and if so what the delivery details were. No reply, so after a few days and no delivery and mailed again to confirm my cancellation.

No reply, but as no money had been taken from my credit card I let it go.

On 16th September they took the full amount from my credit card (I have only noticed this now as my statement has come in), however I have received nothing. This date was probably the last day they could have used the pre-authorisation on my card to take money.

I will be seeking a refund through my credit card company for unauthorised use and reporting the company to trading standards. I hold little hope for them to respond to my emails directly or refund me.

This company has NO customer service. If you get your goods, that's fine, but if you want to correspond to them, they do not care.

I would recommend you do not use this company at all.

UPDATE - following a final email to them, Slapiton were in touch (email and voicemail) to apologise for taking the payment and have now processed a refund. They said this was 'human error' which I accept can happen. However, not answering emails and claiming the order had been sent was most certainly not human error. My experience was still worth only 1 star.

Easy to navigate and too easy to buy. My order was delivered in ok time and was perfect. Great samples too. Needed a bit of advice on using the skincare items bought and the girl I spoke to was really knowledgeable and nice. I would trust them for further purchases.

Worst "customer service" ever. Ordered item on 6th July, 1st August still no item, an email promising it had been send over a week ago and no reply to second email asking for a full refund. So almost one month later I have no item and no refund and no reply to emails or telephone calls. Diabolical and lost not only a customer but a disgruntled one who will ensure this is shared on social media

I cannot not beileve any positive responses as there are far too many bad experiences like mine. They do not answer the telephone or reply to emails. I will never use them again.
Over 4 weeks and no response or delivery. They use Sagepay to take your money who also walk away from responsibility. Never buy via sagepay either.

I did write a negative review last week out of sheer frustration, but having sent a firm but justified email complaining and highlighting certain points, I was most surprised to get a personal response from Sophie, who highlighted problems with the ordering process and delays from Aqua Di Parma. I pointed out that the lack of communication is frustrating, Sophie informed me that whilst not perfect, lessons can be learnt from this and the website is looking to get a potential change. This morning by way of apology, I received an Aqua Di Parma candle and samples of their range, I'd already bought the room spray from some place else at this point, but as it was and is a birthday present, it's simply an added, albeit unexpected bonus. I'm all for second chances, yes, whilst totally frustrated last week with constant excuses, a bad situation has been turned into a positive one, we're all guilty of criticism, but when things go well, praise speaks volumes.

I ordered 2 bottles of cleanser but only received one so I sent an email after trying to call several times but getting no answer. I had a quick reply to initial email to say missing bottle would be sent that day but 2 weeks later still haven't received it! I have sent another email but have had no reply as yet. Looks as though I've paid twice the price as I fear I'll never get the other bottle. Will never order from them again and I advise others not to either.

I placed an order with the company ±10 days before Xmas. I then saw negative reviews on trustpilot and was worried I had been conned.

I emailed Slapiton immediately asking when the product would be despatched and mentioned my concerns regarding the reviews. I was emailed back quickly and advised of despatch and postage times and told I would receive my product after approximately a week. I received the product sooner than I had been promised and must say all in all it was a great 1st experience and I will be back again.

Whilst I will admit I was surprised not to receive any dispatch emails or follow-up communication after my initial order, the items I bought arrived in good time and were very good value. So from my limited interaction with them, my first experience was a positive one.

i had not heard of this site before and ordered by 7th December with free delivery. The price for the present I was buying represented a huge saving from other sites. Usually when ordering online, I have been given an approx date for delivery. I was getting a bit concerned by the 15th December when I had not received or had a further update on my order, especially having read some of the reviews. I did phone but could not get through. I emailed and got an immediate personal response apologising and assuring me that my order would be delivered by Friday 19th December. My order did arrive at lunchtime on Friday 19th so I was really pleased. I would definitely use this company again.

Ordered 8th December and subsequently chased the order as I'd heard nothing and was advised that item had now been dispatched.

Email received today, a week later, advising that item has not been dispatched and wont be in stock until next year???

Had they told me this last week or not taken orders on stock they don't have I wouldn't now have to hunt around for one of my wifes christmas gifts a week before Christmas!

I ordered some D&G perfume on 2nd December and received it on 6th December, good service, I must admit I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews on here as I have bought this as a Christmas Present, but am very pleased with the price and speedy delivery. Thank you!

The item I ordered never arrived. It was never sent out. Nearly 3 weeks after me ordering said item, and after yet another conversation with a member of staff as to where the item was, they apparently 'had spoken to Royal Mail' as to its whereabouts, and then went on to assure me it would arrive within the next 48 hours. It did not, as it had never been despatched, so how on earth could RM say they had the item? I was never billed for the product - the order was ignored. Terrible, terrible, terrible company, that do not deserve to be in business. Use them at your own peril. Oh and they never reply to emails either.

Part of order arrived fairly promptly, but one item wrong and two others missing. Customer service non-existent :( Won't use again.

8th JULY AND THE PRODUCT ARRIVED ON 10th JULY ALONG WITH SEVERAL SAMPLES. AN EXCELLENT SERVICE AND I WILL CERTAINLY BUY FROM SLAPITON IN THE FUTURE.

Great prices, great communication- can't complain really!

Have visited the Slapiton store on a number of occasions because they're based in the town where I live. I have been very happy and impressed by both their customer service - and prices- whenever I have visited. I find their prices extremely competitive and much cheaper than the high street stores even though both the interior and exterior would suggest the opposite. Keep up the good work!

I read the recent poor reviews but also noted some good ones. Took a chance, ordered an aftershave the evening 20-May. It arrived this morning by royal mail signed for.

I need several orders and some experience of how the supplier handles an issue before I'll wholeheartedly recommend but based on this experience I'll try them again

In the 2 years I have been using Slapiton (who I purchase from at least once every couple of months) I have never recieved bad service from them. Goods always arrive quickly, via signed for 1st class, and occassionally with some relevent free samples, which is a thoughtful touch. For the first time, over Christmas, there was a slight problem with delivery of my order (which was not their fault anyway) and the lady who helped me sort out the problem was really good - very friendly and efficient, and replied within hours of recieving my email. Will continue to use this excellent service. Also, the prices on the Avene range that I buy can't be beaten.
