Richard fitted a new vinyl floor in our W/C communal area, he did a first class job - what a huge difference it has made, excellent communication and workmanship. I highly recommend Simply Floors.

Initial visit from Christine was good and a cash price agreed. Unfortunately the fitting expertise was poor and some residual issues still remain unresolved. Notably, the carpet continues to lift up on most of the stairs and the carpet pattern does not align where joints have been made. Some other issues were resolved (protruding nails, poorly laid transition stripes) but this needed a call back, when a little more care and attention at the first visit would have prevented this. We have used Simply Floors previously but unfortunately the level of service this time was not up to standard.

It is to Simply Floors’ credit that 11 working days from asking for a full refund for the defective floor that they supplied and laid, that the money was in my account together with a contribution towards the work required to lift and remove the floor. Thereby earning one-star.
It is disappointing that they were unable to act with the same level of efficiency in sorting out the mess of a floor that they recommended, supplied and laid in my home. Leaving me with no option but to have the floor lifted and start all over again with a new company.
If the floor had been laid without issue, maybe like other customers, I would have given a good review. According to Simply Floors, the reason the floor started to lift and bubble straight after laying was because the glue was not up to standard. But the actual cause of the problem was never confirmed.
It is disappointing that I had to wait week after week for Simply Floors to confirm return appointments to remedy the failed floor. Fitting me in around annual leave, sickness and other more important customers.
Disappointing that Simply Floors attempts to rectify the problem floor made it worse rather than better.
Disappointing that not once in 6 months were Simply Floors proactive in contacting me as a valued customer to discuss and agree a way forward.
Disappointing that I had to continually chase for dates for appointments, and then chase for the time the fitter would arrive. Sometimes only finding out on the day that he was not coming till the afternoon. As if I had nothing better to do with my time than wait in for him, again.
Disappointing that the fitter was regularly late for appointments, fitting me in around deliveries, collections and other jobs.
Disappointing that it wasn’t until after 6 long months and after I had had enough and asked for a full refund that Simply Floors thought it was a good idea to arrange an inspection by their supplier to find out why the floor had failed. I agreed to the appointment to help them out so long as it was arranged by the end of November. The inspection never materialised, and in keeping with the pattern of other appointments with Simply Floors there was no contact or explanation about what was happening.
Disappointing that 6 months after paying in full for the floor, Simply Floors cancelled two appointments one week after another due to the fitter’s ill health. I sympathised with him about this and under the circumstances was happy to rearrange. However, to then, after all this time, not only double book the follow-on appointment, but cancel my appointment, rather than cancel the other customers appointment.
I was polite and patient throughout this sorry 6-month saga. In good faith I paid for the work in full as soon as it was completed. The final insult and in the height of bad manners and rudeness, after cancelling my appointment in favour of their other customer, Simply Floors simply stopped corresponding with me.
If you use this company to lay your flooring, you would hope for a smooth process without problems. However, as I discovered, if there are problems, Simply Floors are beyond useless, having neither the practical skills nor customer care skills to resolve them.

And very Pet Friendly since we have 2 Dogs & 2 Cats here. Its so much easier to take care of. Than the carpet we used to have in our Hallway. Reasonably priced aswell. Will recommend you.
