the Support is never there - we run are a company that relies on emails that are always down- you call and no one answers the phones no matter what department - they live chat says we answer immediately and they don't, they play a big game but i assume its a one person operation with a flashy website and phone lines that don't even ring - i've left messages that never get answered - there are a lot of other options out there - choose someone else

Unacceptable My access to my Bjerke.ca site and Cpanel were not acceptable with errors and invalid responses. I have been with Sibername for several years, but it seems like it is time for a change. With the service or I should say NON-service that I have encountered this past month is NOT acceptable so I will be looking for another Service Provided. Regards Floyd Bjerke @ bjerke.ca

Sibername used to be a wonderful web hosting company but then they got takn over by another and since thwn their service has been terrible. We have more than a dozen websites with Sibername - their service is terrible and many of our email addresses are not working because they have shifted their servers to different DNS without telling us how to keep up with the incoming email. This evening I have told them that unless they solve the problemby noon tomorrow we will start moving our services to another company. I do NOT recommend the new Sibername at this point in time.

Amazing company, amazing customer service. Special mention to Matthew, the customer service representative who is very helpful and provides great service and excellent source for tech support.

5 Star - Positive: Professionalism, Quality, Responsiveness, Value . The team at Sibername.com was excellent in all services offered and there support was fantastic.I highly recommend them!!!

Sibername tries to keep your domain hostage by not allowing you to generate an auth code to transfer it to another registrar. they have intentionally made if so you need to contact support to get the hidden link to make the code.. this is a shady business practice.

Was simply amazed at how easy it was to complete the steps to search, register and activate the domain names I wanted, both .ca and .net. I've been at this a week, and hostpapa took my money and still has it for a website I registered with them last week, saying it can't be activated till I've been approved by their validation service and their security team. I'm still trying to satisfy their requirements over the web and have had no success, as I'm stuck in a loop on a website that has spelling and contextual errors,(Red-Flag!) and which has no options or instructions to complete. Very UN-professional. More than 50 tries, and numerous emails back and forth with hostpapa, and then I find out that the domain I paid for was still out there, from a visit to the CIRA site. I chose a local registrar, SIBERNAME.ca, and was pleasantly suprised to actually talk to a person! On Christmas Eve!
I was walked through the whole process, as I am not computer literate, and within an hour, I had both domains registered and activated..., including the .net that hostpapa was pretending to host for me. They still have my money at hostpapa, and I am trying to get it back..., but I think they are scamming me, so beware.
I am looking forward to 2020 and a lasting relationship with sibername.com and their team to help me build and launch my sites. Tech and chat support..., and real people!

I have been using Sibername for my business since i opened it 3 years ago and I have to admit they are amazing and on top of their game!!!

Huge rip off. Don't waste your time. Expensive domains and really bad service. you only get one page and its 39 -499$ for SSL! WEEBLY DOES IT FOR FREE.

Originally, I gave Sibername a 5 star review for their customer service...but left no specific details. Today - Jan 28, 2019 - I wanted to return to relate a specific story.

Recently, I made a domain switch for my wife's interior design business from robband.co to robbandcompany.com . This switch necessitated and email switch as well. This is where my problems began. In addition to the domain switch, we decided to switch email from Office 365 Outlook to G-Suite Gmail....and after speaking with both Microsoft, Google and Sibername, we were assured how the change-over would be swift, painless and that all emails sent to the old robband.co email would be forwarded to the new robbandcompany.com Gmail.

Sadly, once I initiated the switch, the email forwarding didn't work. And being only semi-literate when it comes to this stuff, I contacted all 3 involved parties (Sibername hosts our domains).

Google gave me useless advice to check out different webpages, ignoring how my wife's business could be impacted by missed emails.

Outlook gave me useless advice until they decided to completely stop responding to my questions. Needless to say, my opinion on Microsoft support is not exactly positive.

Sibername, on the other hand, stuck with me over the course of 3 days, trying all sorts of technical fixes until finally, last night...everything started working perfectly.

I can't say enough about the support techs at Sibername who helped me with this problem. Unlike the Microsoft & Google people, they kept working to find a solution until a solution was found.

In case this review is looked at by SIbername execs, I am leaving the support ticket number so the support staff who helped me can be recognized for their great work.

I cannot recommend Sibername enough! So impressed with their commitment to quality customer service and tech support. From the start, their reps were knowledgeable, friendly and helped put me at ease with the entire process of registering my domain name, choosing a web hosting package, building my own website and setting up a SSL certificate. Live chat help was very responsive within minutes and also by email - usually within an hour I had options presented to me to deal with any questions and issues I needed resolved, particularly for someone who is not tech oriented at all. They are the best!
