The Awin ShareAsale affiliate platform…
The Awin ShareAsale affiliate platform has an extremely poor reputation. In June 2025, they arbitrarily suspended my publisher account and withheld over $10,000 in commissions, refusing to pay them out. This severely infringed upon the rights of affiliates. Those considering partnering with them should avoid doing so!
🚨 $150,000+ in Sales — Then Our Account Was Terminated Without Justification
We’ve been operating Rebations.com with full integrity and professionalism. For over 1.5 years, we ran a ShareASale (owned by Awin & Awin Global) affiliate account (ID: 3324323), contributing $150,000+ in sales to their network.
We were fully compliant — running clean, policy-respecting campaigns and maintaining strong relationships with 600+ approved advertisers. As of our last login, we had $6,800 in unpaid commissions.
Then, out of nowhere:
Our Awin Global account was suspended over what seemed to be a minor or unclear issue.
When we submitted a respectful appeal, they used that appeal as an excuse to terminate our ShareASale account too.
We were given no warning, no evidence, and no due process — just immediate suspension and loss of access.
We were never shown which policy was violated, and our pending commissions were confiscated without explanation.
This isn’t just about money — it's about a complete lack of transparency, fairness, and accountability from a platform that should support its partners.
We now publicly request:
A proper review and reinstatement of our account.
At minimum, the release of our fully-earned commissions.
Rebations.com is a legitimate business that has invested time, money, and trust into this partnership — and we believe what’s happened is wrong.
We hope no other affiliate experiences this. Keep documentation, ask for clarity, and don’t assume platforms will treat you fairly — even after years of honest work.
Scammers
Requested account closure 5 months ago, with a healthy balance. They ignored me and chewed up my balance month by month. My account is still open, while they keep asking for more money to process my request. What a shameful way to do business. Especially when you charge $900 upfront for onboarding.
ShareASale CJ managers themselves are probably perplexed as to why their profits have fallen?
Because, unlike their competitors, they are shooting themselves in the foot and limiting payments only through PayPal, which does not work in all countries.
It's a scam
It's a scam. They stole commission trying to pay with check that won't be paid. My bank also charged me fee because of the unpaid check. They answer taking time, asking for any kinda of data but won't pay a buck. I've been scammed from SHare a Sale. I won't use any affiliate link using this service. Scam just a scam.
A Complete Scam
A Complete Scam! Do not ever come close to this site. A complete scam with no workplace ethics. Stole my $187 commission. Is there any way to file a lawsuit?
Worst experience
Worst experience. Stay away from this site. They have no authority and control over transaction. Companies are staying away from it.
Run away from them dude
Run away from them dude. Don't look back. Run as fast as you can, run as far as you can.
Complete fraud
Complete fraud. Signed up as a merchant. They're going out of business in a few months. ( they didn't tell me that before charging $700 to sign up )
CEO Sucks Title
Title: A Look into Adam Ross’s Leadership: A Controversial Move from ShareASale to Awin
Adam Ross, the CEO of Awin, has come under fire in recent months for his controversial actions and leadership style, earning him the unfortunate title of the “Worst CEO of 2025.” His decision to leave ShareASale, a leading affiliate marketing platform, and join Awin has left many clients and affiliates in a difficult situation, with little to no support in place.
AVOID!
AVOID!!
My account was suspended and closed. I was told they will not be paying me any commissioned earned under the terms of the agreement, and they won't answer any more questions. They can't tell me why exactly my account was suspected. Truly awful.
I was an affiliate for over 10 years…
I was an affiliate for over 10 years and without notice, without any good reason and any recourse they banned my account. I did nothing wrong. They are under new ownership (Awin) and all I have seen are bad reviews about them. Do not use this affiliate network, you will not get paid and will get banned. There are many other companies that are more professional and reliable.
I was an affiliate for 15 years and…
I was an affiliate for 15 years and without notice, without reason and without any recourse they banned my account out of the blue. I did nothing wrong so I'm completely dumbfounded as to why they would do this. They are under new ownership (Awin) and I've heard nothing good about them. Do not use this affiliate network, there are dozens more that are more professional and reliable.
Stay Away - Will Close Account For No Reason
I opened an account, signed up for a program, and then my account was closed. I reached out to support and received a vague response stating that they could not tell me why my account was closed and that the decision was final?! I am glad it got closed before I had any money in my account. This is not how you treat customers. I have been doing affiliate marketing for over a decade and have never been treated so poorly. Stay away, both publishers and companies.
ShareA Sale
ShareA Sale, out of the blue, can't find my account OR MY MONEY! Just one day I can login, next day NADA! and ZERO help!
Absolutely horrendous service
Absolutely horrendous service. I've had an account with them for over a decade, regularly promoting programs on my website. I've had money owed to me for most of that time but have never had one payout.
Today I received an email that they've terminated my account with absolutely no reason given. Nothing has changed on my end and they refuse to tell me what the issue is, if they even know themselves. This is exactly what websites like Etsy do, also. I feel scammed.
Please stay away from them, merchants and affiliates, I strongly feel they cannot be trusted.
After years of doing affiliate links
After years of doing affiliate links, I suddenly get terminated without them disclosing what TOS I apparently violated, despite me just manually doing affiliate links on a website that abided by their TOS to post links.
After several emails without any response pleading what I did wrong, this is what they respond with (very vague and generic):
"Nina Winters (ShareASale)
Feb 27, 2025, 8:39 AM CST
Dear affiliate,
Following a review of your account activity, we have identified irregularities that are non compliant with our standard publisher terms. As a result, your account will remain suspended and any pending payouts are halted in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
As per clause 15 of the Network Terms & Conditions, we have exercised our right to terminate our business relationship with you. Additionally, please consider this email as one month’s written notice of account termination under clause 14, after which you will no longer be able to operate as an affiliate on the ShareASale network.
This decision is final and will not be reversed.
Kind regards,
Nina Winters
ShareASale Compliance Department
ShareASale, Owned by Awin"
Avoid this company and doing business with them. This is shady just terminating accounts saying we violated terms without disclosing actual terms we violated with facts and proof.
Terrible Experience - Funds Withheld Without Justification
ShareASale abruptly suspended my account right before payout and held my earnings for over a month and a half without explanation. When I reached out, their "compliance" team offered vague accusations of "irregularities and manipulative activities," without providing any clear details or proof. I had only run straightforward, transparent paid ads on Facebook, clearly complying with their terms.
After multiple attempts to clarify the situation, they terminated my account permanently without reviewing my case fairly or transparently. It appears this is their standard practice—keeping affiliates' commissions unjustly and ending partnerships with zero accountability.
Avoid dealing with ShareASale if you value your hard-earned money and fair treatment.
Hi my account got suspended just prior…
Hi my account got suspended just prior to the payment from shareasale was due, without any prior notice nor email nor any justification. I hope they will open it soon or at least pay for what I hardly earned ! It's a scandal really agree with the other comment. And we are a lot here. It looks like Awin is messing everything up with their new acquisition !
