Totally unreliable
I contacted them on the recommendation of a colleague that apparently knew someone that had work done by them. Allegedly, the work was OK. But then I wouldn't know, because my experience was that after the initial phone call with this company they were almost totally incommunicado. And every limited contact that happened had to be initiated by me.
I called them and spoke to one of their office staff. I explained in brief the details of four fairly large pieces of home improvement I needed done. They said someone would call me back. They sent an email a few hours later, inviting me to review their website. That was the last I heard from them until I took things further by chasing a response a few weeks later.
After hearing nothing for about 3 weeks, I emailed the person that had emailed me back the first day I spoke to this company. I got their "out of office" response. So, I contacted their general "info@" address. Later that week, someone called me to apologise for the delay, stated they'd lost some leads details, and to belatedly arrange an appointment to obtain a quote.
The day of the supposed quote visit came and went with no word. No apology for standing me up. And no explanation.
Unfortunately, some builders and companies are unreliable. This is one of those. They say they'll provide quotes then don't. They say they'll turn up for appointments, but never do. I respect enormously those builders who do what they say or at least let you know they can't take on the work because they're too busy or don't have the skills. However companies like this, that show an initial interest then fail to show up or contact you again, are the bane of your life when you are just trying to get some home improvement work done.
They messed me about. Twice. It was my fault, really, the second time for giving them another chance after their initial show of flakiness.
Avoid, is all I can say. Stick with a company that is capable of doing basic things like actually turning up for quote appointments. If they can't even manage that much, how poor and unreliable must their workmanship be?
