Great stuff!

I’ve been ordering from Save on Scents since late 2017. I order a wide array of scents. Some are designer duplicates, some are based on fragrance notes. I’d say that by and large, for the many, many orders I’ve placed, there have been only three that I don’t really like/love. For ones I’m unsure of, I only get a 4 oz, or if I’m feeling particularly adventurous, 8 oz. I’ve ordered well over 100 bottles and of those, I can only think of 3 that weren’t great. But smell is subjective—what one loves, another hates. However, beyond scent, the oils are bottled well, have never leaked in transit, arrive speedily, and are trustworthy to use for me. Soaps, lotions, bath bombs, shampoo and conditioners are my wheelhouse. I don’t know what I’d do without SoS.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM...

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM.... I've followed them for many years assuming based on their website that their inventory would be top notch.... NOT THE CASE
I have a product line and something told me, before placing a large order to order some samples as a regular customer. I'm glad I did.
The samples I've ordered from them were all fragrances that I've ordered and worn for many many years including the natural color, I know the smell and what it should look like.... Even diluted....
What they sent to me was ALL WHITE LIQUID WITH ALMOST NO SMELL..... They cut the oils sooooo bad that you can't even smell them much less the NATURAL COLOR ..... such as the sandalwood I chose as one..... ALL MY LIFE AND I'M 54.... The color has always been a dark amber color and that is after being cut by the carrier oil.... It came to pure white and I instantly knew that they had cut it sooooo much that it had no fragrance....
So I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and went to a synthetic fragrance which it normally comes pink..... as long as I've ever worn it......
AGAIN IT CAME COMPLETELY CLEAR.... I already knew it would not have any smell because it looked identical to the others and sure enough you could even smell it. I put my nose sooo close to smell that I mistakenly put my nose tip in the oil and still barely a hint....
CAN YOU IMAGINE HAD I PLACED MY LARGE ORDER AND THEY SENT ME THAT....
I know they have different levels but it should NEVER COME WITHOUT ANY SMELL....
YES I CALLED CONTACTED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND WAS TOLD TO CALL THE OFFICE......
TO THIS DATE.... AFTER SEVERAL VM I NEVER GOT A RESPONSE SO HAD I ORDERED LARGE.... I WOULD HAVE BEEN STUCK WITH A BUNCH OF CARRIER OILS WITHOUT FRAGRANCE FOR MY PRODUCTS.....
DO NOT MAKE A MISTAKE AND ORDER.... I Think they are low quality and I wouldn't recommend and the customer service is non existent and they DO NOT REPLY....
I'm sure had I told them that I was prepared to make over $1500 order my service would have been great but I wanted to see the quality of their service for the average everyday person showing me that all my future purchases would be great big or small but that wasn't the case.
I found what I needed on etsy and google so I'd recommend them and leave this company and their clear carrier oils alone.... #PeaceAndBlessings

We are sorry to hear of this experience. We offer and recommend small sample sizes to all customers before placing any larger orders. There is a great deal of variety of formulas in the fragrance industry, and returns of properly formulated fragrance batches are not possible. An oil that has shipped out and been opened by a customer and then returned is not sellable to another customer. Improperly formulated batches are extremely rare, but always replaced once tested and deemed incorrect. We have been shipping the same formulas for 20 years and offering three different concentrations of each fragrance for that time. This allows customers to select the desired level of potency that is appropriate to the needs of their project and budget. All three concentrations are suitable for use in projects requiring high potency fragrance oils. We have filled over 317,000 orders and have a great deal of business customers that have used our oils for up to 20 years. Luckily, our customers have extensively tested and reported on the potency and lasting power of our fragrances over this time period. Please note that we do not add colorant to our fragrance formulas to allow customers to color their oils as they see fit. This would account for a customer receiving fragrance oils that are light in color, instead of artificially colored with darker dyes. It is important to note that Sandalwood fragrance is always going to be a delicate yet pervasive fragrance, and that true Sandalwood is almost always a pale yellow to clear color. Sandalwood is not a resinous oil that would appear dark in color without the use of natural or synthetic colorant, or the addition of non-sandalwood notes.

We strive to answer all customer inquiries as quickly as possible. Our receipts are sent from a labeled “No Reply” outbox, so if a customer attempts to contact us there, unfortunately emails might not be seen. We offer phone and email support and will always reach back out to customers who leave messages. The potential size of a customers current or future orders does not determine the level of importance placed on meeting their fragrance needs.

The body butters are my favorite

The body butters are my favorite! I can always count on them to keep my skin moisturized. The scents I choose smell just like brands I would have purchased in the stores, but the prices are of course so much better.

Worth a try

The fragrance oils are decent but not enough for a continuous order repeat. What is pretty awesome is the specialty scents that mimic the scent of brand name products and off the wall scents that you'd never expect to find. Some missed the mark, but others were so spot on I couldn't believe my nose. I will definitely order from this company again, just probably won't be my go to supplier.

Great experience with this company!

Great experience with this company on making scented oils. The website is a little confusing so after reaching out to the company via email, they sent an immediate reply to address my ordering concerns.

I will purchase from them again.

I am sorry for your experience and any misunderstanding. I see that you placed an order for our sniffie samples on Thursday 5/2, then called us to check on the status of the order on Monday 5/6. When our customer support representative informed that the sniffie order would be shipping that day, you asked that we cancel and refund this order instead. Please always be sure to check our current turnaround time, as posted at the top of our website. This shows how many business days it will take for an order to ship out. In addition, our sniffie sample product page instructs that we have a very high demand of these low cost samples, and therefore they will ship an extra day beyond the turnaround for a standard order. I am sorry that the samples did not arrive, but they most certainly would have shipped on Monday and arrived on Tuesday, had we not been instructed to cancel and refund the order. If there are ever any questions regarding our turnaround time or if you have a deadline that needs to be met, please do not hesitate to call or email.
