Second review as first mysteriously disappeared.

Does not come preloaded with any of the more common apps, Netflix, Disney etc.

Unable to download the apps from play store as the TV is not a Google Certified product and so is prevented from downloading from play store .

Have tried and tried to load from native websites ie bypassing play store but cannot work out how to acknowledge cookies when dialogue box pops up.
Which you have to do before you can attempt to download from site

Contacted Sarason and to be fair they replied same day (Saturday). Was told to install via an app on the TV called Aptoide TV which did work but it’s aggro.

Hopefully many years viewing ahead

MY RESPONSE TO REPLY FROM Sarason TV

I agree it may not be said that these apps are preloaded but I noted reviews on Trustpilot strangely saying that they were and to be fair it is billed as a Smart TV. Anyone buying a ‘smart TV’ these days wants those apps, period. Not Spotify it’s a TV not a smart speaker. Your website text says ‘no need for kindle fire stick’. Your website shows a huge TV with Netflix on it.

Secondly and more importantly I have ONLY been able to install those apps (Disney does not work but installs) not through the usual route on Android of downloading via Google Play Store but by Aptoide which downloads a very old version of Netflix. The version dates back to 2014 which on initial use straightaway asks you to update but then says it can’t because of the issue with Playstore mentioned previously ie the TV is not Google Playstore Certified product and it is not able to run the newest version on this TV

I do not think this is what most people would expect from a 2020 ‘smart TV’.
I totally disagree that it does not need the fire stick or other device to make it smart as Google Play-store whilst installed is unusable for these apps on what is an Android device.
Aptoide TV is a workaround and NOT a good one.
I shall have to install the ‘unnecessary’ Kindle Fire stick for which I have made no provisions for in the enclosure.

It does look very good installed but you need to be more upfront about the product and what it can and cannot do

Got a message to update my review from Trustpilot,

Saw the reply from Sarason TV which ignores all the comments about being unable to download from the Google App Store due to it being a non compliant device, and only being able to download OLD versions via the Aptoide app. Haven’t bothered since.

Great guys, repaired a faulty item. Was mended and returned and is now working great. Very professional.

Excellent product, dispatched swiftly with care and attention. The TV is easy to install, embedded or exposed on the wall. Picture is excellent. Very easy to search and save channels.
Well worth the money.

They had issues with the delivery coming into the country. They communicated each time there was an update and kept me up to date all the time offering a refund each time but I trusted them and they delivered as they promised. Well worth the wait its an amazing product.

I purchased a TV over a year ago, recently the waterproof remote failed, I left it sitting in water for a few hours (not the bath just a ledge) I contacted Sarason, they have had delays with stock (presumably due the brexit or covid) but as promised a new remote arrived free of charge.
I’ve even fitted one of these TVs for a friend who loved mine so much, he had to have one.
I didn’t think I’d use it as much as I do, I’m now fitting another to my own home (previous one was in my room at my parents house)
Personally I’ve found them a very good company and a great product given the price!

I’ve seen comments about the sound quality, it’s not your main tv with Dolby surround sound, it is a bathroom TV, bathrooms due to tiles do echo, I find that the sound quality is adequate, certainly loud enough, and doesn’t detract from the viewing experience.

The remote, it says waterproof, personally I’d say water resistant is a more fair statement, but you can drop it in the bath, I just wouldn’t leave it there or in water again as I did, it works though.

I ran a 15m HDMI cable from my bedroom through the roof and had a switchable HDMI splitter, now I never miss a programme I’m watching and probably spend a bit too much time in the bath as a result.

So if your thinking of buying one go for it, you won’t be disappointed!

After a friend recommending a waterproof TV SARASON was the one Android TV with functionality takes awhile to navigate around the TV but overall thumbs up.

I contacted Jay from Sarason about which TV model to purchase and whist we only communicated via email the response time was exceptional.

We have now purchased 2 x 22inch TVs and we are very excited, hopefully they will arrive on the 5th February 2021 and we can watch TV in the bath.

We will send a further update on the quality and performance once the TVs are fitted.

I can honestly say, this has been a horrendous ordeal, dealing with this company. I purchased a 27inch model in August 2020. It arrived cracked. After number calls/emails and broken promises of delivery dates of the new batch of TV's coming, I finally received my new TV in December 2020 (4 months later) However they sent the wrong one, a lower model than I had paid for. At this point, I no longer had the energy to deal with all the emails and calls again to wait for a new one, so asked them to refund the difference and I would keep this one. They agreed, but didn't pay it back. Now after more emails, with their apologies and promise that they will still send it.....Nothing. I understand stock levels have been affected by covid etc (hence I've left this a long time to resolve before leaving this review) However the whole dealings feels like a "one man band" Type of set up, it's very unprofessional, they are ridiculously difficult to get a hold of or return your call and the constant calling/emailing etc is tiring. I wish I'd went somewhere more professional than this shop. As for the TV itself, It looks nice, but that's all. The picture quality is no where near as good as you'd expect/hope for, and the sound is horrible. I have to plug in a separate set of speakers to get a suitable sound from it. I have an email from Sarason to explain that they agree, the sound is poor, and many of their customers plug in an external set of speakers. They certainly don't mention this on their website.

This is EXACTLY the response I would expect from you. I have countless emails and phone calls documented of my time trying to resolve this, and after all of this (including a promised refund that STILL has not come through as of todays date 13/1/21) This is the type of reply I anticipated from such an unprofessional set up as yours. And for the record, if I ordered a TV in August 2020, returned it in August 2020 and by December 2020 STILL didn't have the correct TV but one that I was prepared to accept.....it's not rocket science, this is 4 months. To your second amended reply, I will happily pass all correspondence onto Trustpilot so they can confirm the veracity of this review and everything I have accused your company of. You really have solidated my review in confirming how unprofessional your company is with you replies...thank you!

3rd and final reply, as you don't seem to know when to stop, I'm going to ignore all messages from you after this point and await any correspondence from Trust Pilot (should they get in touch, as per your threat). Yes I like using Trust pilot as I feel its a very trustworthy and unbiased review site. In the last 6 weeks, I've left 4 x 1 star reviews and 3 x 5 stars. I like to give credit where it is due, and prewarn others of my personal experience when need be. As for your latest comment, you LITERALLY just proved my point. Based on all the stress and grief I've had dealing with Sarason since August 2020, I was ready to leave a review, and it wasn't going to be a positive one, and as you are a small business, was giving you EVERY opportunity to put things right. Since that point however, I was still getting wrong dates promised, still having to chase you up with emails and calls, received the wrong TV, and promised a refund which didn't and STILL hasn't came back and more calls and emails. Therefore, you 100% earned the 1 star review left. Accept your failure on this occasion and hopefully you will learn how to run your business properly, which includes NOT having a full blown back and forth conversation, and pasting customer emails onto your replies. Another example of you being incredibly unprofessional.

I would just like to say the tv is amazing 🤩 well worth buying one 😊 I am going to buy again and I would 100% recommend this company they have been there for support and advise from day one and still

Have 2 of the TVs in my bathrooms , absolutely amazing service and delivery. Both TVs look great in my bathrooms , had a minor issue with my second one but this was quickly sorted out with very personal feedback throughout . Highly recommend Saracen bathroom TVs and the aftercare service

I was looking for bathroom TV everywhere and Sarason TV has the best price. After a while I can confirm now that Sarason is not only great TV, they also provide great support after.You can buy from them with confidence.

I have bought two over the last 12 months. Brilliant TVs and brilliant service. No hesitation in recommending to others. The installer of one of them was so impressed he bought one for himself !

Firstly I rarely leave reviews however, Amazing after care, I purchased a TV for my Bathroom over a year ago and the remote stopped working for some reason. I rang their customer service who swiftly sent me out a complimentary Remote and pleased to say all is working.

Outstanding speed and customer service.

Sarason are a great company to deal with & produce products that are second to none, well worth the money.
