I was an early adopter of Salesmate and subsequently introduced a few of my clients to the CRM through the partner scheme. Unfortunately the business has changed and I'm no longer able to recommend them. The quality of technical support has dramatically deteriorated, in the past you felt that you were in touch with someone who new the product inside out but now it's pot luck if you end up speaking with someone who even knows more than you. Issues go for weeks without being addressed or responded to, there's a lack of responsibility taken by support staff and attention to detail is now amiss when it was their strength.
The partnership scheme doesn't reward those creating new business for them in a fair way.
My instinct is that the dynamics at the company have shifted, staff don't feel warm or like they are passionate about it any more, maybe it's not doing so well? I'm a believer in going where you are treated best or where at least their is the best product but SM no longer does either.
It feels like they think you're captured and not able to change services so why go the extra to deliver great service. I also feel like development has stalled, a few years ago new things would often be released that were genuinely useful or exciting but it's been a long time since something new has been relevant when there's so many cool things they could have worked on.
Summary:
Customer Service & Help desk is very poor.
Product has huge glitches that remain unresolved.
Emails mostly go to spam. Even emails from their team end up in SPAM first.
Now very dated and old fashioned in the new marketplace.
Payment tiers are predatory.
Best Sales tool on the Market.

Very bad customer experience a lot of problems connecting your email accounts. They are keep losing your emails and they cannot bring them back despite the fact that you can see them in your native email. They do not have a technical team behind them. I think they’re just having freelancers working on this Because every time we had a problem they could not fix it. I wouldn’t recommend it. I have also asked for my money back. No one from the Sales team is responding to me and the Support ticket system that they have they are always changing the point of contact so you have to explain everything again from scratch to every single one of Them.
Absolutely love Salesmate! This is my fourth CRM, and I’ve tried at least six others. After extensive research and using various options through my real estate company, I can confidently say that Salesmate stands out.
First and foremost, the price point is unbeatable. On top of that, their customer service is truly exceptional. Whenever I encountered an issue I couldn’t resolve, their support team was quick to help and provided effective solutions.
The platform is perfectly laid out and includes every feature I could think of. They offer numerous workarounds to help you save money. For instance, if you're hesitant to commit to automations, they provide alternative options. If you’re not satisfied with the dialer, they suggest several other companies you can integrate with.
Salesmate's platform is open and flexible, featuring all the necessary APIs and Zapier integrations. I can't praise this product enough! The willingness to train users is also a huge plus. Overall, Salesmate has exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a robust CRM solution.
I would advise any business to steer clear of this buggy, amateur CRM. Your productivity will be severely hindered (like mine has) when you have to spend at least one hour a week chatting with their support team because their features don't work.
Example:
-Email template editor is a formatting nightmare
-Automation Joruneys (their automated workflows feature) is full of bugs and doesn't execute properly half of the time
-Stuff breaks or goes rogue and even though you report the issue multiple instances, they always make you waste countless time before they admit it's an issue on their end that needs to be solved.
In the meantime, they'll say "we checked the logs and nothing seemed to be wrong". Good for you, nevertheless, your feature isn't working
A Game Changer!
As a real estate/mortgage broker, I have to say that Salesmate is one of if not the best systems on the market. The amount of functionality the system offers you along with top-tier support is unparalleled. I've fully adopted the system for all client communication and highly recommend it.
Very nice format easy to navigate Customer support service goes above and ensures questions are answered promptly and completely.
This platform is the best everything is included for marketers and agency prices is reasonable and for the support they reply supper fast should try !
Don't use their service, they will steal your Gmail password which can put your device at risk.
Probably the best CRM program available. I have taken in depth looks at about 50 CRM's and used five as part of my business. Salesmate is heads and shoulders about the rest. It has VOIP integration (phone) that works very well. Other CRM software have VOIP integration, but work very poorly. A huge bonus is that Salesmate has mobile appt that integrates data with the desktop. For each client, you can track activities, calendar appointments/events, text messages, emails, todos, notes, calls, etc. It is not perfect, however, (1) it exports activities, okay, but not texts and emails. This is bad. But no other CRM comes close to the functionality of this program. This program can be customized to meet a multitude of industries. I am an attorney and it works really well tracking multiple cases for individual clients. Other things it could do better. (2) can only attach documents to emails that are less than 10mb's... when the industry standard currently is 20mb's. With the increase of bandwidth, it should be 100mb's. The mobile app does not link phone calls for contacts with deals (cases) FOR INCOMING CALLS -- you have do it manually later, which is bad. (3) The mobile app could be a little easier to navigate. Customer service is very good but not perfect. If you need to migrate data from your program to Salemate, I don't think it is easy if you have complicated data to import. There customer service is limited in helping on this. I was even willing to pay them extra to do a migration of data. Their database for soting data is good but a user should be familar with filtering concepts. I give this company 5 stars because it clearly is the best.
If you miss a single payment, they immediately delete all your leads. They don't just freeze it, they actually delete it and have no way or restoring it. It takes effort and time to build quality leads and yet prefer to blackmail you to continue paying or they delete immediately everything, no way to pause the service.
