My whippet was bitten on the thigh out on a walk and it was quite deep into the muscle so needed to be sorted quickly. Went straight to the nearest vet ( part of the group I’m registered with) and they stitched her up and looked after her well. Sainsbury’s messaged me about a week later to say they’d received a claim from the vets and were looking into it. They quickly accepted it and two days later the vets were paid, leaving me to just pay the excess to the vets. All in all a very smooth and quick process with no problems or delays. A stress free experience is much appreciated when your pet is unwell…

Awful please do not use, my holiday iwas cancelled because of the war and going through Doha, we got a refund of every one flights and accommodation but not insurance, we booked a later holiday and asked them to change dates, the insurance was £145 they wanted an additional £230 pounds to change the details when I said that was too much could I have a refund they said no, I lost the 145 had to rebook with another company as it was still cheaper than their additional charge, I can’t remember exact date but it was towards end of march 2026

I’m in dispute with you as my whole trip was cancelled and all my outgoings repaid by the airline,hotel and car hire so no insurance was required

I buy every year and the premiums double every year. Turning into abit of a joke really.

Was told to wait beyond 60 days for pet insurance promotion nectar points to be added only to receive letter saying points would not be added because I waited too long.

The most inconvienient homeinsurance with no clear guidelines or contact numbers . Called up due to a legal issue with british gas and there was no response or follow up on the issue.Would never take a home insurance policy again with them. I have a no claim of more than 10 years and yet they don't treat clients with any empathy or urgency

Due to the office being closed for the Easter holiday and the weekend between, I was unable to contact any member of staff to inform them of a change in our circumstances that would render our policy invalid if it was not declared prior to the start of our holiday which began on Easter Sunday. This resulted in a great deal of stress before I could contact the office when it reopened on Tuesday 7 April.

We where held up with flight cancellations and had to stay in Thailand nearly 2 weeks extra, we eventually got a flight through China and we had to pay again, we had to pay hotel and food for the extra time in Thailand and our flight through China came to Heathrow not Manchester so we had to get a taxi home . We have been in touch with you and you said we were not covered for this. I asked you to make this an official complaint which you said you would be in touch with me , I have heard nothing. I am not happy about this .

I had a lovely cruise to Spain and France and it was good to know that I was well insured should I experience any mishaps which fortunately I didn’t have.
I will insure with Sainsbury’s for any future trips

I need to cancel my travel insurance.
I have tried 3x to contact the phone number provided. I have had only an automated, extensive list of what is available on-line, but no conversation.

Miscalculated and deducted my pet insurance claim by over £500.
Fortunately I noticed the error and this has now been resolved.
Others may not have noticed and would’ve accepted the deduction.
This type of error should not have occurred.

Excellent provider I did not have to make a claim and I will certainly look to renew when it expires
