I use it for the foster kids
I use it for the foster kids, as they are teenagers they like that they can have it one their phone and a card and feel grown up. They can also see their saving grow and feel confident that they have money.

Refuse to process chargebacks
Works fine unless your child purchases something counterfeit and then they do not want to know and want you to jump through hoops to prove it is counterfeit even though the seller has stated it is not a genuine product.

To help clarify the situation, there are strict boundaries for disputing a transaction. When a chargeback is raised under the reason of 'counterfeit goods,' the bank requires formal documentation to process the claim - even if the seller has made a statement. Without specific evidence, we won't be able to uphold disputes. We ask for these 'hoops' not to make things difficult for you, but because it is the only legal way we can successfully claim money back. We want to help resolve this for you if possible so please reach out to our team directly at hello@roostermoney.com or via the in-app chat.
Great Value for NatWest Parents!
Great offer if the parent is a NatWest customer, as it is free then. Not many banks offer under 12s account that have attractive rates and a bank card
Slightly confusing in operation - the initial version does not require exchange of money - more of a tracking of pocket money for the parent. The full version is a more traditional bank experience but the levels to get to where you need to are still slightly confusing.
The application was a very straightforward experience and quick, on the other hand. The card arrived quickly too much to my boy's delight.

My granddaughter came to live with me…
My granddaughter came to live with me and needed a bank account for her pocket money. As I am not her legal guardian I was unable to open up a bank account for her. The natwest rooster account was ideal and easy to use. I just transfer her money and it's done. Would definitely recommend.

The rooster card is genuinely amazing! For a child's first card it was absolutely spectacular! We have used natwest for a long time and rooster was amazing! Eldest daughter was able to get the app on her phone and she loves being able to check off her chores, and checking her own balance! Youngest daughter loves the freedom of being able to pay with her own card like an adult! Absolutely amazing!!
