STILL WAITING FOR…
STILL WAITING FOR CONTACT,REFUND,INVOICE AND PHOTOS.
Handle With Care! And don't pay without an itemised invoice and a job that's properly done.
Had a dripping tap & leaking waste in a sink in an outhouse. RMM were doing some electrical work next door so I asked if they did plumbing too. Said yes, quoted £175 -- a bit steep, but not out of sight. Nice young guy came pretty quickly, replaced the taps OK, brought a replacement sink waste which was the wrong size/type so "mended" the old one and told me not to use it for a while so that it could set. Left it overnight, and found that it no longer dripped, IT POURED.
Paid them £306 by credit card while the guy was here and on the phone to his office. Was promised an online invoice when he got back to the office. Needless to say, no invoice has appeared, and I am kicking myself for being so trusting.
Have contacted them today. The plumber said they gave a 10-year guarantee. Guy on the phone said they'd make a return visit after the weekend to fix it. Let's see if they show up and the job gets done. Might revise the review up or down (by a star) if it turns out OK. But I'd still be wary about dealing with these guys again.
Absolutely appalling experience
Absolutely appalling experience. I’ve read the other negative reviews on here and we had a very similar experience a couple of months ago. I only wish I’d read the reviews first but it was an emergency call-out.
We did not have the recommended work carried out by this firm but was charged £186 for call-out, which was the price quoted, so I was obviously willing to pay. Then… he actually wanted to charge us more as he said his colleague was on his way with parts for the job and he would have to charge us for that! He also said the electrical panel wasn’t safe and that would cost us a further £3500! So we then paid him his call out charge and asked him to leave.
A qualified and very trustworthy electrician sorted out the issue very quickly for us the following day and assured us there was NO safety risk at all and charged a fraction of the price.

DO NOT USE
DO NOT USE. Absolute con men. Had to report them to the NIECR. Had them out in an emergency, they told me the fuse box was not in regulation (and my tenants heard this) and they made me feel like I had to upgrade it urgently at a cost of £2600. Found out later there was nothing wrong with the box at all.
In addition they didn’t give me an electrical installation certificate, which I need as a landlord. I chased them up from March to July for this and only received it because I went through the NIECR, and that organisation threatened them with suspension if they did not produce the certificate.
DO NOT USE! These guys should not be allowed to operate.
Stay clear of this company
If I could give a negative for this awful company - ripped my 70 year old parents off at 2am in the morning, the guy is a liar he told them the fuse box was burnt out and would cost them £2300 - refused to leave their property until they made a payment of £420. Stay well clear!
‼️ Avoid these rogue traders/con artists at all costs (literally ...)
Quoted my disabled, elderly aunt £3,500 to replace an electrical unit that wasn't even faulty & not the cause of the problem - the actual fault was correctly diagnosed & fixed later by a different tradesman for £115.
If the part RMM diagnosed as faulty had actually needed replacing, they cost £50-400 max for an all-singing, all-dancing version; and require no more than 45 minutes-2 hrs labour to install, so another £150 max - total £550 - not £3,500!!!!!
They also charged £300 for the call-out, for 10 minutes "work" & no more than an hour in total travel time. No wonder they can afford a nice website & smart van. Don't be fooled. They seem to pick on vulnerable elderly people in particular to intimidate and prey on.

Made things worse didn't fix job properly with holding recipts, £2,160 later job not fixed!!
Terrible experience
Rang them to fix a small leak at tbe upstairs bathroom.
The engineer that came out said it was a loose conection, 2h after he left the leak got worse and since then they keep saying they're gonna send someone ot
Rip off
Rip off. Quoted for works that wasn't carried out. Agreed a price to re-wire sockets that wasn't carried out. Advised other works that were also not carried out. When challenged for a refund for these works not carried out, a token gesture refund has been offered. Stay clear folks.

Called up the other day to enquire about an apprenticeship opportunity, the man who answered was very rude and disrespectful. This was shocking service and I would recommend to not go here
I contacted rmm about the call out fee
I contacted rmm about the call out fee, Liam was kind enough to refund the money, thank you
Avoid!!!
Appalling. Told no call out. Came to give us a price which was extortionate. We declined. Then told would be a charge of £186. Not a call out charge!! We paid as we felt intimidated. Avoid
Avoid this company at all costs
I had a very disappointing and concerning experience with RMM Maintenance following an accidental gas pipe damage in my home.
After discovering the issue, I contacted RMM Maintenance, who attended within around 3 hours. The engineer briefly assessed the situation and advised that the only solution was to completely reroute and refit the gas supply, quoting an eye-watering £3,500 + VAT. This immediately felt excessive, but I contacted my home insurance company who quite rightly refused to approve the work without a clear written justification. At that point, I declined to proceed.
Despite no work being carried out, I was still charged a £189 call-out fee.
Concerned by the scale and cost of what I had been told, I sought a second opinion. Another gas engineer attended within 30 minutes, quickly assessed the situation, and safely isolated the damaged pipe in approximately 20 minutes. The total cost? £95. No unnecessary work, no inflated quote—just a straightforward, professional fix.
More worrying, the second engineer highlighted that RMM Maintenance had failed to fully isolate the gas supply before leaving. Given they were aware there was a leak, this represents a serious safety concern, as the gas could potentially have been turned back on.
No surprise they never got back in touch to provide me a written quote for my insurance company to consider.
In summary, I feel I was given misleading advice, quoted for completely unnecessary work at an excessive cost, and left in a potentially unsafe situation. I would strongly advise others to seek a second opinion before agreeing to any major works recommended by this company.
Absolute Joke of a company
Absolute Joke of a company. Called out for a blocked toilet and charged £300 for less than 10 minutes work and didn't even fix the issue. Do not use these rogue traders.
Please beware
My elderly mother-in-law (late 70s) who is the primary carer for her disabled husband searched online for her usual plumbing company. The company she contacted appeared prominently in Google search results, and she believed it was the firm she normally uses.
Two men attended her property regarding a minor shower leak. They quoted £1,340 to repair what they described as a cracked pipe.
This diagnosis was later confirmed to be incorrect by our regular plumber, who resolved the issue by resealing the shower screen with silicone.
When I spoke to the men by telephone and asked which company they worked for, they avoided clearly identifying themselves. I instructed them to leave and confirmed I would arrange the call-out fee later.
After the call, they informed my in-laws they would not leave without payment. My mother-in-law felt intimidated and withdrew cash from an ATM while they remained outside the property.
She was visibly distressed and frightened by the encounter.
The company has since issued an additional invoice requesting payment again despite already receiving the call-out fee.
Excellent Service
Found Liam and the rest of the team very helpful and responsive. Came out same day to investigate water dripping from bathroom extractor fan. Recommended a solution and came back in a week with new inline fan and fitted at a time that worked for us. Recently had a problem with our boiler on a weekend and had to ring again, Liam came out within a couple of hours and replaced perished condensate pipe within minutes. Liam and the team are polite and helpful explaining things and offering advice. I would recommend to others.
Very rude
### DO NOT USE### BE AWARE#### Very rude. False promises made. Please dont make any payments till job is completed. Absolute rogues and vile attitude from staff and Liam. No reciepts given and overpriced ###DO NOT USE ###
