He was the worst teacher I ever had. So many emotional and physical damaged he caused more than any teacher in my life. He stolen my students for his own benefits and also trying to destroy me image as a teacher for money.
He also have sexual friendship with his girl students. So many girls told me. He is not even a yoga practitioner. Know nothing about yoga. So opportunities

I did my 200 hours YTT at Yogpeeth Rishikesh in December 2023 and was disappointed with the management, food and housekeeping services.
1575 USD per 19 days is way too much for the low level of services that they are providing.
Miscommunication between students and office/teachers has happened constantly. Different employees provided different information about the schedule, the program, activities which caused confusion to the students. They didn't provide any activities for the Sunday day-offs as they've promised in the beginning of the course. The construction noises and dust in the air impeded the learning process. The food was poor and dishes were not healthy (e.g. french fries, potato chips, very little fresh vegetables). The rooms are old and we're stinky like the suage system was broken. The tanks of the heaters are small and are enough for 2-3 minutes of hot water shower.
As a student I had to sort out the housekeeping issues more than studying the course. And the Asana classes had only 1 teacher per 25 students which was not enough to assist with posture correction. The good thing about this place is few teachers that did their job with enthusiasm (Nitish, Omar, Shailesh)
Overall I wouldn't recommend this place as it has too many management and housekeeping issues.

I had one of the best times of my life at Rishikesh Yogpeeth! Not to mention, the Yoga Teacher Training program is exquisite and productive in every possible way. I can't stress enough about this wonderful yoga ashram surrounded by the beautiful nature and the warm and welcoming staff!

I have just finished the 200 hours and 300 hours yoga teaching training with Rishikesh Yogpeeth and the word that comes to my mind is gratitude. The 200 hours were extremely important as a preparation for the 300 hours. The teachers are very competent and give you the initial kick to go deep in your practice. The 300 hours in the mountains was the best experience of my life. A beautiful setting in the middle of the Himalayas green mountains, powerful and calming energy that allows you to go further in your inward journey and find whatever resources you need either to further your own practice or challenge yourself in the teaching. I highly recommend for experienced or not much experienced sincere practitioners and instructors. A lot of appreciation to all the school staff that took care of our needs with so much love and prepared us delicious ayurvedic food everyday also. Love. Erika

A month in my life where i witnessed a change in myself. Yoga through Rishikesh Yogpeeth was one experience i feel i will always cherish and build upon. i completed my 200 Hrs TTC here thanks to the continuous support from the teachers and the staff at Yogpeeth, who were always more than helpful towards making our stay and course wonderful.
The first few days feel out of the ordinary as one still has to adjust to this simple way of living. The asana practice in the first week built the foundation for strength for the upcoming weeks. Any contact with the teachers - be it Deepa, Neha, himanshu or Vijeth left me happy , smiling and ready for the next day.
Personally, in my group - everyone applauded their efforts , towards their food preparation, cleanliness, knowledge of teachers and guidance towards each meticulous detail. Even after completion of the course, the teachers have been very kind to help with queries at all times of day . It would never be enough to thank the complete team towards making the experience successful. I hope to visit back to complete the 500 Hrs TTC soon. Highly recommended for everyone.

I've just completed my 200HR TTC at Rishikesh Yog Peeth. It was an amazing experience. The teachers are extremely knowledgable and very helpful. All the staff at Yog Peeth were very helpful and made my stay very comfortable. The course is very well-structured, with a focus on personal-development. The asana lessons in the morning and evening were the high-point for me since I was able to further my yoga practice and grow in flexibility in just one month. Also, the freshly cooked food was delicious. This experience wouldn't have been the same had it not been for the amazing people I met here, friends from all around the world, teachers, mentors. If you are thinking of taking a yoga training certification, this is the best place to do so!

I had completed 500 hours TTC from Rishikesh Yogpeeth & I must say It was one of the best decisions of my life so far. Teachers were amazing & have always been there to help.This place was beyond my expectations.I would highly recommend it to someone who wants to know more about yoga and be a yoga teacher.

I attended my 200 hours and 300 hours YTTC at Rishikesh Yog Peeth, It was a life changing experience to me, all the Yoga teachers were well experienced, helping, phenomenal and the courses we learned ranged from asanas to pranayama to yogic philosophy and anatomy. The days were busy but well planned.

one of the memorable experience of my life. words will be less to define my time there. The team that yogpeeth has is amazing,they so readily do everything that everyone asks for, without loosing the smile through out the day.
the rooms are nice and clean,good enough to stay there for a month.
and food was seasonal and local. Honestly i was not there for all that,that i have mentioned so far.
so all this was extra bonus of my experience.
I was there to study. which is the next thing i can't stop myself to talk about.
THE TEACHERS at yogpeeth are perfectly aware of what they do.
every single class is planned so well and has a purpose and the background set for next class.
they are so much ready to share the knowledge that they have inside or outside of the class.
i remember one thing said by one of the teacher, if the you are ready everything is a teacher.

WOW experience !!! I am delighted and pleased to complete 200 hours Teachers training course from Rishikesh Yog Peeth. Yoga is connection between our body, mind and soul. I learned many things from here which changed my life completely. Mainly the people over there was very encouraging and cheerful. I enjoyed so much the lessons from great Guru's. I am surprised and impressed with the improvements in myself in such a short time. It all happened because of all knowledgeable and experienced teachers. Furthermore, classes were scheduled very effectively and efficiently with full utilisation of time. Everyone was very helpful & approachable from the management to the staff and ambience also well maintained giving the positive vibrations like homely environment with mouth watering food. Overall it was a WOW experience to me and i would greatly recommend to everyone. Thanks to RYP for such an everlasting experience. 😊😊

The 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training Course at Rishikesh Yog Peeth (Summer 2016) experience was life-transforming. It was rigorous, yet rewarding. There are not many places you can go for a long period of time and learn about the nature of the self, the Universe, and one’s place in the Universe. As a yoga teacher, I have gained a deeper knowledge of asana, pranayama, kriya, Astanga and philosophy, as well as a more profound understanding of self; and ways to guide my clients deeper into their practice and self-awakening. Rishikesh Yog Peeth is superior — from the depth of knowledge of their teaching staff, to the professionalism and courtesy of their management team. I love the school and the curriculum … I definitely recommend my friends and family to attend their school.

Rishikesh Yog Peeth school is the best ever place where you can learn about Yoga about Yourself and about how to share the knowledge of Yoga with others ! I was a beginner in yoga but now after the 200 hour ttc program.I can see standing somewhere in the path of yoga...

Large Disappointment! I was so excited for my experience at Rishikesh Yog Peeth but it ended up being absolutely terrible. I am not sure how the other folks rated such a great experience. My opinion was shared with several other fellow students out of the 50 there were. The ashram, Krishna Cottage, was absolutely disgusting. It was unclean with mold climbing up the walls and bugs hopping in the bed (not kidding!). The staff didn't clean the facility with anything but a broom. No soap or disinfectant to kill germs or bacteria.
The classes themselves were also disappointing. On the second day of class one of the asana teachers had us doing very advanced poses without showing us how to progress to those poses. This is very dangerous and could promote serious injury. We were there to learn how to teach and therefore should have been taught methods to get into these poses gradually.
Also, I found the second yoga teacher who was also the anatomy teacher a bit discouraging to students. Deepti was very abrasive when asked questions and made you feel stupid and out of line for asking questions. This is not the way to run a business or to promote a comfortable learning experience. I would not recommend anyone take this teacher training or yoga retreat.

I waited 2 years to post this. I've waited for time to pass so I could share authentic long term effects. My time at Yog Peeth was life-changing. I have been exponentially calmer, happier, and more connected. The teachers are plugged in to the source and communicate the love of life with all students. My asana, pranayama, and meditation took off at Yog Peeth and have been a daily ritual ever since. I remain more fluent with my breath, flexible with my body, and observant of my mind. Attend Yog Peeth and you're life will forever be touched.
