I am the captain of 1 pool team which have now changed venues to Riley’s Cardiff, the manager and staff are very helpful polite and obliging, the table are excellent and kept in good order. Which is what you need to play 1st division pool. There are now 3 1st division teams playing from there which goes to show how good this venue is. I would recommend any team to play from Riley’s Cardiff.

Absolutely ridiculous experience. A poor man’s flight club. There’s no going to the bar & just ordering. You have to stand there and faff for a good 10 minutes and every single member has to sign or you don’t get any drinks food etc. rubbish experience & a rubbish place.

Poor unprofessional management...

This is a review of Riley customer services at enquiries "at" rileys.co.uk. I sent 5 short and polite emails over the course of 1 month to ask about vouchers I had been sent that were not working. I got no reply at all. I couldn't find any email to help resolve the problem so resorted to Twitter/X and that didn't work either. I am a loyal customer who spends a lot of money in my local club, so it's frustrating to be treated badly.

Booked a particular table via the website as it is the least damaged and most level table. Upon arrival I get told that I have been moved to a different table (one with a big tear in the cloth), I asked to be moved to a different table upstairs as I refused to play on a table that damaged.

The table had been given to someone else (I’m assuming a regular), who was only just taking off the cover so it wasn’t like someone was already playing on it.

Very disappointing service as booking online is effectively pointless because it doesn’t matter what table you book, when it can just be given to regulars with zero notice, very poor show..

The table I ended up playing on had lots of little grazes all over the cloth and made the path of the balls unreliable at a slower pace.

If you book a particular table you should be given that table and the English pool tables need reclothing and re-levelling to make them worth the £10.90ph price tag.

Last night, I visited Riley's in chorlton for the first time, and I had a great experience! The staff member, who I believe was named Derick, was incredibly friendly and informative when helping me with my membership. He certainly knows what he's doing and added a personalised touch with his sense of humour, making it a really great guest experience from the start!

Always have a good evening at Rileys in Benfleet. Good atmosphere, good food and bar staff always friendly and helpful - thank you.

Went into Rileys Benfleet on Tuesday night due to not being able to get a table in our usual club and what a great night. Decent tables, nice atmosphere, the two ladies working behind the bar were very helpful and knowledgeable …… will def be back.

Went into what I thought was a male ordinated venue but was surpised how comfortable I was made to feel, had a game of darts, when I got my gin and tonic the staff made it so amazing putting in red fruit made it look so good, will defo be back now probably gonna be a regular

Scott was awesome, Offered us the P&Q's deal which we have not had before, venue is great and service was outstanding, Table service, great food and Scott was just on point all night even down to offering us a promo session on darts after the pool to keep us playing. Great experience and awesome atmosphere, becoming a really good venue to watch sport and play some pool.
