Unable to login to account or contact customer care.

No reply to emails and the telephone number doesn’t work. No customer care available?!

I transferred some money to NRE account in India o the 28.9.22.then I received a mail from remit2india on the 3rd of October saying my transaction has been cancelled.no explanation why it’s cancelled.sent so many mails and no reply.no number to contact them.hasn’t got my refund either.this is a cheating company.I think I lost my money.please no one should trust them …

I have been using remit2india for quite a long time and have done several transactions with them. Apart from once or twice, the transactions were never delayed, and when they were - they correspondence was quick too. So was generally happy with them, until I did my transaction last week. I used same bank account, same remit2india profile to transfer to my same Indian account and this time they say that the bank account name does not match with my remit2india profile name? That is just impossible, because both names are exactly same. I also sent them the bank statement showing the transaction, plus my bank account name which matches to my remit2india profile name. Then I must have send at least 15 emails to info at remit2india dot com and I have not received reply to even a single email. To add to this misery of ignoring customers' emails, they don't have any telephone number I can call to either! I hope somebody from remit2india sees this message and contacts me. Otherwise, good luck to them! and I have lost my money... the RTRN is 2597983032

Unable to transfer money since few days, keep getting the error 'Sorry your transaction cannot be booked. Transaction Error'. Raised this issue via email (sent two emails) through the 'Contact' option, no response yet.
Not good customer experience.

Worst customer service experience , getting transaction error when trying to send money, Emailed them quite a few times , only reply getting that its been logged with technical team and never received any response. Will suggest not to use this platform. Look for some other sites, Contact number never worked

Customer ID 1205266. Have been sending money to India for ages. Now cannot log in. says 'Your ID has been locked. Please contact our Customer Service'
There is no customer service. Phone number dont work. Even e mail to contact cannot be done. Says something like 'Space not allowed in the end of undefined'.

I just created my account and was trying to transfer small amount but getting some error that "we are in process of modifying our offerings in Australia..."
Is it a temporary glitch?

Never trust ICICI money2india. I had a very bad experience over 10 years back and stopped using them. But last week due to a family emergency, I decided to try again. You would expect that over these time, their service and staff training would have improved. I was wrong!!
They took my money within 20 seconds. After 72 hours sent me an email that they can’t verify my account. The customer service say that they will initiate a refund. That takes 5-7 days. My money reached them in seconds and they refund in days.
HOW CAN THEY GET AWAY WITH THIS TYPE OF FRAUD???
I will be looking for some legal help on this. In the meantime, I advice, STAY AWAY FROM THIS CORPORATE CRIME.

Rubbish customer service

I tried my first transection of $50 and it went through fine in 2 days.
So I trusted the company and initiated another transaction of $2000.
This time they block my transection and I didn't receive my money.
They dont reply to emails and their phone number does not work.

They steal my money

I happen to come across this website with customers raising a lot of concerns around delayed remittance and/or lack of communication from your team. Before I request my next transaction, I would like to gather some confidence. Please do share the right process of contacting your agents in case of any delays. Could someone also please confirm if the "State Bank of Texas: is still the right bank to send monies from my US bank? A/C number 1685649. Why is the email address info @ remit2india.com bouncing ?

Please process the transaction ASAP or refund the money. Absolutely ridiculous - it has been almost a week since I booked the transaction with no update what so ever and no phone number available to talk to real people.

I have been dealing with Remit2india from last 3 years. Unfortunately, I transferred money from Australia to India on 17/11/2020, the transfer had not reached with receiver. I have been trying to login but account locked. I have been looking to contact via email but sorry to say no response after 4 days of emails. I have looked for customer care number but nothing is working. At least a response email to assure would be helpful. But no reply yet after 5 days.

I echo many people's review. It is scary there is no people to talk to. Asking too much information and back and forth in email. I don't know if a Bot is responding or human. We need to get the employee list make sure they are not selling the information to scamsters. Has anybody alerted authorities ? I have successfully transferred with them in the past.. but recently it appears new management might be different.
Hopefully Bot does not repond to this review but provide a contact number of a human being instead.

Following text is as a response to Remit2India response.
I don't understand what logistics you are suggesting. issue you are are running that can't run a call center. It's shame. They use spam us a lot. Despite back and forth about what documents(20 emails). It was frustrating there is nobody to talk to could n't get my transfer done. It's shame. I am really concerned about the operation you are running.

The exchange rates are very poor. There are other better options available. R2I rates are always Rs500 to Rs1000 less than other services. Customer care is also not great. takes ages to reply. I referred a friend and got the referral credit. Due to poor exchange rate i couldn't send money for few months. After few months i got an email saying that my referral credit is going to expire. They never mentioned anywhere that there is an expiry date for referral credit. Luckily they shutdown their services before i could transfer and i sent an email asking my credit reinstated once they restarted services. Also they show 2 rates while booking a transaction on the first page. But when the transaction is confirmed the lowest rate is applied. The rates are even better with other services even with a transaction fees applied. Transferwise, Remitly, Instarem are better options.

Update.
Just saw reply from remit2india. Thought of clarifying some facts.
Your rates are not at all competitive. For the last 3 days 1AUD is around Rs 52.5 while other providers are giving 53 to 54.
Even now 13/11/2020 when i checked you have the same rate of Rs 52 while others are giving more than Rs 54. Even with the transaction fees added their rates are better than yours.

Where did you mention the expiry date of the referral credit. I didn't see it on the referral ad you posted. It was not mentioned in the email too which i got after successful referral. I checked the faq section and there also i couldn't find it.

Your guaranteed rate, indicative rate thing is just to confuse the customer. I selected the guaranteed rate and on the next page the total conversion is done according to the lower indicative rate. So even if i select the guaranteed rate you are giving me only the indicative rate which is lower. This is actually cheating and many people actually don't notice this and complete the transaction. Even though the difference between these rates are very very less like 0.05.its cheating and confusing users.

It's been 4 days since they debited my account and 3 days since they replied on my review that it takes 3 working day, no credit into beneficiary's account yet.

I was wondering what was happening with this company for a while - my preferred platform for money transfer - remit2india.

1. As part of one of their promotions, they promised me Coles Vouches which I never received.
2. I cannot even access my account now, the mobile app is asking me to prefill my details and I can enter only US addresses.
