Overall it was okay
We paid for this about six months ago, it was supposed to be in august
The august event got cancelled two days prior, which I thought was terrible short notice. Luckily, we hadn't told our son but we had to wait two more months
We were told we would get free admission to fare rides for the inconvenience
I found it really shady that they told us that, but everyone who bought a ticket got free rides, so we were no better off, we just waited another two months
We were told characters would be at the event including bluey, transformers, miss Rachel but not one of them were there and there was no wrestling as was advertised either.
The food stands were not including of any dietary requirements which I was disappointed to see and there was genuinely nowhere to sit down in the entire place
It was sold as an 'arena' so we were under the impression there would actually be an arena, not a field
The communications with the company are not easy and they take too long to reply
If they were more honest with advertising I wouldn't have most of the issues I do.
But because of all of these things, I would not recommend RA Events to anyone

BEWARE SCAMMERS - I paid £75 in May for my children to go to a show in September which they then emailed in August to say the truck wouldn’t be there as it was broken so I could have a refund. They are now being very difficult and refusing my refund and offering me an alternative show 4 hours away which the monster truck still isn’t going to be at. Not replying to messages. This has happened to hundreds of people.

If I could give no stars I would. I booked tickets for an event which as usual they heavily promote around the monster truck. They sent an email out before the event saying the monster truck was out of action, they understood that many people would have booked to see it. Here is an extract: "For customers who purchased tickets expecting the previous format and would prefer not to attend following these changes, please message our page and our team will assist you with your options."
They were slow to respond, eventually sent a refund request form and after 28 days said they would not give one in line with their terms and conditions and not to contact them as it wouldn't change their decision.
I know there will be hundreds if not thousands of other people in the exact same situation. Why encourage you to contact them and get you to fill in a refund request form when they know they won't issue a refund? They know the monster truck is the main attraction and would rather rip off everyone than just own it and lose some money in the short term.

Booked "Monster Truck Motorfest Hertfordshire". Sold by "RA Monster Events" with monster trucks in their logo. The kids had really wanted to see monster trucks for the first time, and were super excited. We got there to find it was just a big funfair (additional cost), one monster truck ride (extra £10 each, half hour queue for 2 min ride), and motorcycle displays. To be fair the motorbike shows weren't bad, although they got very repetitive, and seemed to involve more chat than actual stunts. I wrote them an email the same evening asking for my money back, and they never replied. Bit of a scam, and their lack of reply shows they clearly don't care.

Absolute scam of a company. Do not waste your money.
Booked tickets for an event in August. Received an email stating the monster truck was broken and we could have a full refund for our tickets if we replied to the email and did not use the tickets. I did exactly that, replying to the email within a couple of hours and did not attend the event.
I followed up with another email about a week later and was told to reach out on social media. I then followed up with another email and was sent an automated reply with a link to a ticket claim form. I filled this in.
I have just received an email to say they will not be refunding my tickets and to not contact them again as it will not change their the decision and it's against their terms and conditions.
You offered a refund in writing if we didn't turn up. We didn't turn up and you are now refusing a refund. You have also refused to explain how this is in breach of your terms and conditions.
You've ignored my further messages, so I have taken this further.
This "company" needs to be shut down.

I booked Cheshire on a whim, then came to read some reviews to see what to expect. After reading them, I was worried I'd wastes my money and this would be a long hour trip each way for a disappointing day. I'm glad to say that wasn't the case and we've had a great day.

The weather was lovely which definitely helped. The show was loud but took ear defenders for my little one and had breaks so it wasn't overwhelming. We queued for quite a while for the truck ride but that's to be expected. £12 per ride I thought was reasonable - I laughed and screamed the whole way round! Queueing for one of the other rides took about 40 minutes but others were no queue time at all. I liked how the rides (except the truck ride) were included. Food wasn't cheap but again, that's to be expected nowadays. There were a few chicken, burger and chips stalls but it was of decent quality and we could have just taken a packed lunch if I could have been bothered.

The shows were good. It might have been good if there had been a few more elements to the monster truck show but I also think there's only so much you can do with a monster truck! The bike stunt shows were good. They're clearly very well practised and skilled. One rider had an accident (I hope they are ok) but I was also impressed to see them act quickly and appropriately. Yes the final part of the day was cancelled but looking after themselves is more important. Thanks for a great day out!

Event was a let down, we paid extra for unlimited rides then because they had a issue with the event they made rides free for everyone.. the shows were disappointing, says they had 5 monster trucks but they weren’t ones performing tricks, just slowly driving around. The rest of the shows weren’t the best either. Truckfest was better and half the price

Shocking company. Booked a Monster Truck months in advance. The day before we went we looked at the schedule to see there would be no Monster Trucks but instead Mountain Bikes. As per facebook advice on their page, we DID NOT attend which should have given us a full refund as per their message to other customers. Months later and after numerous messages, we have been told we cannot have a refund despite this total misselling of an event. A truly disgusting company and am not surprised they lost their license for Monster Trucks when they take months to reply to a basic refund.

Don’t worry though guys… Weve been offered a free ticket for any future shows…. Can’t wait to watch someone pedal around!

Don’t ever book with this bunch of crooks. Paid to see monster trucks and informed the day before there wouldn’t be any. Refused refund saying no refunds given. Just search online for all the poor reviews and experiences.

Does not refund even when they have a monster truck.. The only one out of order. Refusing my money back and only offering me to go to another event. DO NOT BOOK

Absolute scam of a company.

I bought tickets to this especially to see the monster truck. I’d heard rumours via social media that the monster truck was out of action the weekend before we were due to attend but RA monster events kept peddling the attraction via their social media presence. The owner of the truck then posted on their own socials that they had withdrawn from all events going forward. I received no communication from RA regarding this or regarding a change of schedule (which was essentially a bike show now) so I requested a refund for false advertisement. It took over a week for RA to acknowledge my request but did eventually say i was entitled to my money back. I filled in the form that they sent me and waited 30 days to receive an automated response to say my refund had been refused. I also did a charge back with bank - who also refused it because RA said they were dealing with it. They were not.

I have noticed that RA have also updated their terms and conditions to state that no refunds will be given in any circumstances and they have the right to change the schedule. It seems to me that this is a professional scammer. I wish I had researched before parting with my money as there are media reports about this company going back years.

Market Rasen event, cancelled Monster trucks in week leading up to event. Posted on social media that they knew people would be disappointed and if you wanted to not go and message for a refund they would understand. Messaged before event and replied to all messages quickly. The agreed refund on message and then refused refund 6 weeks later.

Warning to all!!! Don't book event tickets through this scam company. They cancel events due to completely poor organisation (basic failure to actually tell the local authorities the event was actually happening) and then refuse refunds. To everyone trying to get refunds, contact trading standards and initiate a charge back through your bank. Do not let them get away with scamming people!!!

My family and I had booked for the Monster truck show in August. We were offered a refund on the tickets due to the show not being as advertised, the monster truck was out of action. After many messages to the company via messenger, I filled in a refund request form and waited over 1 month to hear anything. Today received an email from them refusing the refund, despite previously offering it. I am currently £190 down.
Would not recommend this company.at all.

We booked a family ticket for an event at Market Rasen earlier this year. This event was cancelled without any notice and it was only by chance that we found out a week earlier that it had been cancelled. We could not get any information as to what was happening until after the actual date of that event had passed. Then we received an email saying our tickets would be valid at an event at the same location in August (3 months later) this was no use to us as we were away on holiday. So we asked for a refund several times with no response! Today 5 months after the original event
was cancelled I received a

Really disappointed with how this was handled. I booked specifically because the Monster Trucks were the main reason we wanted to attend. When it became clear the show wasn’t going ahead as expected, I contacted RA Monster Events before attending and explained that we would no longer be coming.
They confirmed to me in writing that, because our tickets were unused and we had not attended, I could have either a full refund or future entry. I chose the full refund, completed the refund form they asked me to fill in, and was then told it was being processed.
Communication throughout has been extremely frustrating. At times I was waiting weeks for a response, having to chase repeatedly just to find out what was happening with the refund.
After waiting all that time, I was then told the refund had been refused and that their decision was “final” — despite them having already offered me a full refund in writing and me accepting it.
It’s not even about the money anymore, it’s the principle. If a business tells a customer they can have a full refund, the customer accepts it and follows the refund process they’re given, I don’t think it’s reasonable to make them wait weeks and then go back on what was agreed.
Really poor communication, unnecessarily drawn-out process and an extremely disappointing way to treat a customer.
Many other customers are having the same experience. DO NOT BOOK

Had a email to say they are not showing the monster trucks due to technical issues but can have a refund ..
After countless of messages and some not been responded .
Finally got a email saying no refund as part of there policy ! I say false advertisement and lack of compassion to people who have payed and not returning money in a rightfully manner .
Reported as scam and talking to small claim ..

If I could give less than 1 star I would. After changing the advertised event I was messaged and offered a refund which was gratefully received. 4 weeks later I was contacted to say that the refund was no longer being processed as I was not eligible and I can go to another event (nowhere near my area has an event) and not to reply or message them. Dreadful customer service would not recommend.

We booked a family a monster truck ticket for an event with this company. We then received an email to say that the monster trucks would not be available for the event and were advised that if we wanted a refund, to contact the company. After at least six weeks they emailed back to say that in line with their terms and conditions they would not issue a refund.
Reading the reviews about this company appears that this is common practice
