Flex Advance stopped working the next day



Received my Pure Air Flex on Thursday afternoon. The scooter broke down Friday evening mid-ride as I was going downhill. No working screen, no acceleration but the back lights remained on. Battery was around 70%. This has ultimately tainted my whole perspective regardless on how great it felt beforehand. I don’t play about with my life and it was scary to loose control like that suddenly. I brought refurbished from the Pure Electric website. What was put in place to make sure that you're distributing refurbished scooters that is actually safe to ride and has had there appropriate checks? I've never brought refurbished and had a small fear that it would be reflected in the quality just for the concerns to be playing out a day after receiving the item. I feel like I've been sold a lie. The contact form process is stereotypical AI. There's no indication that your request or messages has been received by a human. No email confirmation (which is a big red flag for me) so I just have to hope via the chat box someone will respond in the new week. No number to call. Personally would have felt better security if I brought from a trusted reseller e.g. Curry or Argos because at least you can feel confident that you will be able to speak to the supplier within an appropriate timeframe and you have multiple formats of contact. I just have to hope this gets resolved and isn't something that drags on- I'm so put off. Prior it breaking down I had already had to reach out via the contact form to request help with pin because I couldn't create a pin because of course I didn't know the previous pin and the default pins that I googled hadn't worked. Based on the reviews I read prior purchase this is far removed from the experience I thought I would have.

One of the best companies I've dealt…

One of the best companies I've dealt with recently 👍👍.
I needed some spares initially
to repair my son's air 4 pro he no longer wanted due to an upgrade .
It came with a broken data cable, punctures ,it was filthy plus a broken charger 🤦.
I ordered the updated coiled cable and a new charger. fitted the cable ,as well as giving it a good clean re greasing the wheel bearings and fixing the punctures🛞
The Scooter is now fully charged and running pretty good 👍.
I've now been speaking with Edward at customer service, he's been fantastic at helping me sort out the the last cpl of bits i needed, also getting the app all sorted 👍.
Well done pure website for a great service 👍 and Edward big up yourself for helping TY👍
Great service all round ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

My Pure Ultra needed repair under its…

My Pure Ultra needed repair under its warranty. Nick dealt with everything efficiently, effectively and professionally. Of course it was inconvenient to have to send the Ultra back to Pure workshops, however the collection of it from my home, its repair and return was done in under a week. Very happy, thank you Pure and Nick 🙏

Air5 ultra suspension

Air5 ultra suspension. As soon the the scooter came out the box it wouldn’t charge properly, then within a few days the suspension arm had snapped/sheared off. Pure received the scooter back on the 31/03/2026 after several ignored emails I eventually heard back on the 11/04/2026 to be told that the suspension arm has been snapped due to a rider impact and they want me to pay for the repair, which I’ve guaranteed them has not happened. Even though I have told them I don’t want a faulty scooter repaired and returned, I would like a full replacement or full refund. The scooter has not been involved in any sort of impact from myself. This could have happened during manufacturing / boxing / delivery, i do not know but I do know it wasn’t myself . Still no resolution what so ever 13/04/2026. Very unhappy with the service.
Also this is not an unprompted review it is through my order confirmation email.

PURE have been an excellent company…

PURE have been an excellent company from start (when we bought our scooter) to end (recently returned for a repair).
They have been professional and most efficient to deal with.
The contact with us has been excellent and proactive.
The whole repair prices was a breeze and very professionaly managed.
Special praise to Nick who has been our point of contact throughout the whole repair process.
In short a first class company that I would recommend to all.

after owning the pure air ultra…

after owning the pure air ultra suspension for not even 5 months the mud guard flaps have broken twice the suspension has dont nothing but squeek 1 month into it with me using silicone oil and red rubber grease as suggested by pure themselves the scooter active stable steering has litrally broken nuts throught litrally general usage of just folding and unfolding this scooter is graded for 120 kg and it cant even handle that amount as I dont weight that much all the company do Is try and force you to pay to send it back to them even tho its under warranty and should be completely free so glad I brought it from a company other than pure will be returning it to halfords for a replacement or refund takes over a week for a responce from anyone many times of contact to be ignored or staff who dont even understand the questions asked or give false information or false parts on their own products joke of a company and false advertising saying so many miles on the scopter yet it does about 15 miles nowhere near whats stated on the advert not even half quoted was a decent scopter until all the problems stated then issue after issue and by far the wost customer services going do not buy off pure make sure to get it off a different company so u get at least 1 year reliable warranty

Etienne was our customer service assistant from Pure scooters.
She is extremely professional and courteous throughout the process of repairs on my scooter.
This is the best customer service I've received anywhere.
The scooter has been awesome and sorted when required with no drama

Pure electric escape pro- thank you Lee!

Ordered a pure electric escape pro scooter, delivered within one working day. Excellent sales service to begin with. Upon delivery, I had a few questions as the app isn't clear on the various extended options available for the scooter, and I came across Lee. He's been absolutely brilliant! Quick responses and always happy to help, a big thank you to him for his efforts and a credit to the your team! Absolutely love the design, colour and overall look of the scooter! I did alot of research before buying, and pure came out on top for British engineering, quality and design which was the overriding factor in choosing this brand. No regrets so far. Only two minor issues/ constructive criticism which I hope they'll consider going forward (1) when spending so much money, pure should look to include a valve extender. You need one anyway to maintain tyres, and inclusion would be a nice touch even if you don't want to include a pump, this is a must (2) annoyingly, a circular tube end is left exposed underneath the scooter which is susceptible to dirt collection. This was easily resolved by purchasing a 22mm end cap from Amazon and completing the detail myself, but this should've have been done as a snag at factory stage. Other than those minor issues, love it!!

Terrible customer service and after sale do not buy any products from them

Terrible customer service and after sale care , my first scooter i bought stopped working after 2 years , the customer service procedures to collect the scooter is so complicated and not free of charge , i have decided to buy another one , 2 years later the same fault happened and after contacting the ceo of the company who doesn't care really as well there customer service , so i have decided to report them to trading standards and DVLA.

They honoured my warranty although it was expired by 3 days and few days later I received my scooter back and everything worked perfectly like it was new.

I bought electric pro scooter for my 15-year-old son, it’s a great product indeed even we had a little issue with a charging point the service has been so efficient and so quick that in two days we have received our scooter back with fixed issue immediately. The service and support we have received from Mr Lee and Mr Dawson it’s incredible and I wish that every customer service and support has people like them, they made my experience so easy and comfortable. I trusted them hundred percent and they did what they said they will ! they delivered on their promise so I’m very thankful .
I would recommend this company to anyone because they are reliable and the products are good . It is definitely worth the money thank you Mr. Lee and Mr Dawson.

Probleem bouten stuurkolom

Na mijn review van 26 maart had ik de bouten a/d stuurkolom die steeds loskwamen vervangen door langere INOX bouten en het probleem leek opgelost.Maar ook deze bouten komen los en moet ik ELKE keer ik met de step heb gereden weer vastdraaien.Ik heb toch écht mijn twijfels of dit allemaal wel normaal is voor een step die 4maanden oud is en perfect wordt onderhouden.Het valt,volgens het lokale reparatie centrum NIET onder garantie.Vreemd.Zeker voor een step die toch bij de bétere en duurdere modellen van Pure mag gerekend worden

Shocking brought a brand new air 5 pro…

Shocking brought a brand new air 5 pro from Halfords £300 for my partner for Christmas he only rides it 10 minutes up the road and back for work it states on the spec tubeless puncture resistant tyres yet after 3 months it’s got a puncture took it back to Halfords for them to tell me we can’t do anything you need to contact pure which I have they said tyres are not covered in the warranty I said surly after only 3 months of minimal use and you can tell that by the tread on the wheels that this should not have happened all they did was say I have to pay £40 for them to pick it up £20 will come off the bill and £10 for them to send me a box out to send it back in but then I also have to pay for the new tyre and fitting after it only being 3 months old under warranty this is very disappointing and disgusting customer service
