terrible delivery service, next day, tomorrow, next day, forget it. I have cancelled the order and will never buy from Public again!!!
A lot of products are marked as available to misguide
A lot of products are not available, even thought it says that it is. You make an order, you pay off the whole amount and products gets into "extensive search" for even 3 months, while withholding your money, and the product and when the product is never found, they refund you. This results on missing on products that where released on limited editions.

I tried to buy twice at a discount iphone and each time the price turned out to be without a discount.

I ordered a single book which was supposedly immediately available. Soon after I was informed by email that there was a much longer delivery window. That then got narrowed down to either Monday or Tuesday of this last week. As today is Friday and their online tracking system still shows Monday or Tuesday, I cancelled the order on their website. HOWEVER, I didn't receive any confirmation of the cancellation and then, three hours later, suddenly I receive an email that my order is ready for pickup!
Meanwhile, they CHARGED my credit card immediately when I placed my order, not when the book became available. That's simply unethical.
Whatever notifications we've had from them have been all over the place -- one by SMS, one on Viber, one by email. Seriously, what the ...?!
Talked with them twice this morning to complain about the whole crappy experience. They didn't appear to really care and just said the book was ready for pickup. They DID say that they "value feedback so that they can become even better." :-) good luck on that one, Public!

Ordered a TV and they kept changing the delivery date. Please note that while ordering their system was informing that the actual TV was in another branch a few km away so the transfer should have taken a day or two. Nope... the transfer or wherever they actually got the TV form took more than 3 weeks. The sad thing is that every time I contacted them they had no idea where the TV was... so they couldn't say for sure what was happening.
Another thing they do for SEO and confuse people is that the leave on their site millions of products they used to have and now show as unavailable without deleting them.

Don’t Go Here On A Weekend If Possible
This store gets busy. I have found that if you want something from a busy section, you literally have to go to other sections to find a person who can help you. The person who helped me, even though it was not his area, was able to get me the answer I needed which for me, unfortunately, was that they didn’t have my item even though it said online that it was in the store.

Products dont work straight from the box
Almost everything I buy from Public doesn't work straight from the box. Unfortunately, their answer/solution is to have your brand new item repaired. Why should a brand new, never been used product need repairing - its doesn't bode well for the quality of the product if it doesn't work straight from the box. Don't waste your money on their substandard products or service. They clearly dont care about the customer, just their money

Ordered 2 books, the estimated time of arrival was 2 weeks, a month went by without any communication from them. I sent them three emails and they never responded, had to call them two more times to cancel my order and get my refund...Awful experience.
