Ordered tyres online and booked fitting in. Price was good as had an offer on Michelin tyres so were cheaper than other quotes I'd had. Quick and friendly service.

Miserable!
Was greeted not with a welcoming smile and hello this morning but with a “booked in for half 8 that” and a very stern face. Checked my phone - 8:38 (yes my error as I misunderstood the rigid time slot as the other place we use just say drop off from xx) . I thought the guy was joking but alas no, went on to tell me how back to back they were. I was embarrassed as there were other customers in the waiting area. So said thanks and left. He suggested on my way out I could re-book…No thanks! What a shame, previous visits had been much better but to say nearest competitor (a stones throw up the road) customer service is without fail OUTSTANDING I won’t rush back for another telling off!

On this occasion the online booking system failed and didn't create the booking (Third party system, not Protyre's fault) but the guy on the desk just took a few details, rebooked it manually and got the car straight in. Protyre Stockton on Tees
The protyre in Stockton on Tees went over and beyond with helping me sort out all the problems with my air-condition problems , mainly all the time spent diagnosing the next problem at no extra charge . Also finding a problem which would have cost me further down the line they didnt have to inform me of , ( as it had nothing to do with aircon )but they did tell me the problem exactly where it is .If left that would easily have been a 500 quid job just in labour .Before I went to another place to diagnose my air-con and they charged me 35 quid for the honor , and only diagnosed one problem , Mine had multiple . These guys are friendly and proper service no messing . They have restored my confidence in the car garage service industry completely .

Plenty of parking
Plenty of parking, left car keys with reception and took dog for a walk until they phoned to say it was ready.
Ordered 3 tyres online, alignment offered with 50% off to took advantage if the offer, however had a call from Protyre to say that was only for front tyres and back also needed doing which would be another £40.
Agreed to this as if it needed doing no point in leaving it.
When I picked car up paid the extra £40 but when I was looking at receipt, the alignment I paid £40 for was actually £39.99, now it's only 1p, but rounding up the payment is poor business practice, hope the finance department can balance the books. Apparently the special half price offer on alignment was only online!
Not sure if I would use Protyre again

Had my car booked in for a wheel…
Had my car booked in for a wheel alignment due to uneven tyre wear arrived at the arranged time and was quickly seen to by a staff member in reception who took my keys and had my car in the garage within a few minutes where the alignment was adjusted after the fitter explained just what was required, all in all a very professional experience and would definitely recommend this garage to anyone looking for work required on there vehicle at a very reasonable cost

Don't bother booking a time slot.
Booked a time slot of 12:00 for two front tyres. Job didn't start until after 12:30 and wasn't completed until 13:30. The guy doing my tyres switched to another job while doing mine.
When I asked if there was a problem due to the length of delay I was told the tyre fitter was having his lunch and head office don't take account of employee lunch breaks.
Other people who hadn't booked came and went while I was there.
