The engineer was polite, extremely helpful and explained what the air con stages were. He checked battery, tyres and brakes and gave feedback as to their timeline until replacement .

Honest, friendly and genuinely trustworthy!
I can’t recommend Protyre enough after my experience today.
I had recently taken my car to another garage where I was told it was essentially undrivable and needed a lot of work doing. I didn’t feel completely comfortable with what I’d been told, so I trusted my gut and decided to get a second opinion.
I called Protyre first thing this morning and they were incredibly helpful, managing to fit me in the same day. Once they had my car on the ramps, they thoroughly checked everything and explained that the issues I’d been told about by the other garage were not actually as serious as I had been led to believe, and that the work wasn’t necessary.
What really stood out to me was their honesty. They actually told me that they would be taking my money unfairly if they carried out the work when they didn’t believe it was needed. They could very easily have done the work and charged me, but instead they were completely transparent.
They showed me around the car, explained exactly what I had originally been told was wrong, showed me what they had found and why they felt the car was safe to drive. Everything was explained clearly and patiently, and I never once felt pressured into paying for something I didn’t need.
I genuinely left feeling that I could trust them, which is so important when it comes to garages and your car. The fact that they were willing to turn away work rather than charge me for something unnecessary says a lot about the way they operate.
A massive thank you to the team for being so honest, friendly and reassuring. I’ll definitely be returning to Protyre for any future work my car needs and will happily recommend them to others.

Very good service
It was good to call in at their site on Holton Heath about replacing two tyres, and speak to a real person instead of having to do everything online. It was very good service, booked in for the following day and the work was done at a reasonable price. There was a problem a couple of days later when an electronic alarm came up on the screen, it was dealt with quickly and I was shown how to solve this issue in future. I can highly recommend them.
