Normally I am very pleased with the service received here, this time thing goes a bit wrong, as I had tyres checked on 31/12/2025 (free check done by them).
They told me all was ok and I will pass MOT.
Then had the MOT on the 27/01/2026 and MOT failed due to cracks in the rear tyres.
Why tyres are not checked for cracks during the free tyres check, if they failed MOT means they were not safe, so they should have told me before going into the MOT about it.
At least I could have then shopped around for a better deals on the new tyres.
It's a pity as normally I have been very satisfied with this garage.

Great stock levels meant these guys were able to come to the rescue for a pot-hole blowout caused by Cambrigde’s diabolical roads.

I was disappointed that I took over 3 hrs to change 4 tyres and that they broke the tyre monitoring valve and replaced it with a none genuine Land Rover part and now I have a a different looking valve on one side

Tyres I needed were in stock. I was able to book for fitting the next day and everything went smoothly. Would not consider going anywhere else for tyres.

The website allows you to make a booking on Boxing Day, even though the facility is closed, and there is then no way of cancelling it.

It’s very easy to book. Just give the garage a call or walk in if you want to talk to someone face to face. Once you have confirmed a date and time, just drop of the car and keys. They’ll call when the work is done.😇

Great guys top service. Last minute tracking needed for a class 7 commercial van. Found the time to fit it in that afternoon, and cheaper than anywhere else around.

I drove over an hour to get to protyre fitting centre in Cambridge only to be told my tyres were not there. Today was the appointment day confirmed by email.

This is very disappointing to say the least. I've requested a full refund and shall NEVER use protyre again. I was given a phone number for possible escalation only for the man at the other end to say he can't help! What terrible service!
