Don’t waste your time. The company only thinks about money. They employ staff who have no experience, just to line their own pocket. The communication is terrible. The pay has gone down. They shouldn’t be allowed to look after vulnerable children. It comes to something when David is reviewing the company himself.

I was looking for additional income, and got on board with Prospero. Glad to say it's easily the best decision I made, the agency is a very great, numerous shift availability and shift compensation is very competitive. Being paid weekly is an additional bonus so you're never really out of cash.

Grant and David have been amazing at regularly sending me shifts and keeping me updated. They are both friendly, helpful and reliable, and communication has always been quick and straightforward. I really appreciate their support and have had a great experience with Prospero.

I have been with Prospero since April, and David, Grant and Maria have been amazing throughout. They've provided me with regular shifts at consistent placements/package's, and communication has always been excellent.
Working with Prospero has also helped me realise where I want to specialise. Having completed my Mental Health Nursing degree this summer, I now know that I want to pursue a career in CAMHS. I can't wait to continue working with the team and make a positive difference in the lives of children and young people. It's such a rewarding role, and I genuinely enjoy every opportunity to work in this field.

Working with Prospero Newcastle - management seem to appreciate the work completed and thank staff. I find them professional and competent. I’m happy here.

I am disappointed with the Compliance Team the way and manner they carry out their job. It is unprofessional to stop a staff from work in a situation whereby a staff right to work is valid. Very unethical to infringe on a staff human rights. It is ridiculous to ignore what is right and pretend not to know even when the evidence is there to see and ascertain.

Not any work only when asked availability then dont get any or have to wait what appears on what's app

I am about to finish my contract and was looking for work. Applied a few months ago and then applied in November 2025. Heard nothing. If thats how they treat potential candidates how are they when you finally sign to them. No thanks warning heeded

I called the London office to see if they have family work available in the Slough area (I have extensive experience in family work) I spoke with M, he informed me that they have work available and gave me a name B to forward my CV to which I did. I did not hear back so I called the office and was put through to B, the phone rang but didn’t go to voicemail.
I called again and spoke to R (she answered the phone outside as I couldn’t hear her due to the wind!) she said I can forward my CV to her. The reply I received from R felt dismissive & inconsistent with the conversation I had with M.
She had the audacity to advise me to gain six months of residential care experience before being considered!! The response was unprofessional and she came across immature in her position.

I have complained and funnily enough no one has got back to me!

I would not recommend this agency at all. Right from the outset my experience with Prospero has been unprofessional and dismissive.

I have been reading the reviews I am shocked at what so called professionals have been writing about other colleges its shocking to read.and lots of lies being told this is unprofessional and should be addressed by management and not for the world to read
Some people stating there have been registered managers should know better.and not behave in a unprofessional manner
I myself have not had a good experience with this company too much gossip from unprofessional so called experienced staff talking about other professionals we are there to safeguard the young people we work with

Prosperou is the best agency that I have worked for in my 8years of doing support work. Prosperou care quality is the best and prosperos treat staff with respect and prompt reply messages.

It's been good working with Prospero Birmingham the management have been really supportive, good listener and active response to issues, create a good working environment for staffs and clients.
