Joining the ThinkTank was the best thing I have done for my education in trading. Seeing more experienced traders talk about their trading ideas has really sped up the learning curb. Kyle is superfast responding to any questions or trade reviews. Also an excellent mentor when it comes to telling you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. Opinicus is different from other online trading groups. We work hard on being in the right "head space" for trading. The focus is on finding the best set ups and executing, while managing risk. We work on methods to identify set ups, execute trades and overcome the mental and emotional challenges that face traders.

I've been with Opinicus for a couple of years. I remember my first trade with the group. We identified MRNA as "in play" and made a 200% gain on an option in about 10 minutes. The next day, we identified a smaller stock, and it popped and dropped in the first 15 minutes, so the option lost most of its value.

The point of those two days wasn't so much about the winning and losing trade as it was about the review of both. By documenting these trades, and all other trades, we start to see patterns in our own trading styles.

In the many months since I joined the group, I've learned to take fewer trades, reduce risk, push harder on trades that are working and develop more consistent results. Moreover, some of the concepts we use to trade are easily applied to other parts of life. "Develop good habits," because it's natural to achieve habit-based outcomes as opposed to grinding out "hard work" based outcomes. Etc.

I enjoy the quiet professionalism of the group. There is no hype. No flood of memes, no pressure and etc. There is just enough humor and pleasant exchange of ideas to make each day enjoyable, whether we pick the right trade or not.

I had my personal best day on April 14, 2023. The market pulled back from a zone high, and then reversed at the end of the day. Caught both moves, but I caught them because they both fit my criteria. Didn't feel like luck. More than just a winning day, it was a culmination of discipline and practice and execution. Much better than a bigger gain on a lucky guess!

Being a brand new day trader knowing what source of information you can trust is difficult. There is so much contradicting information out there that it’s nearly impossible to know where to start or what is correct.

For any developing trader, it is my opinion that cutting through the noise should be top priority. However, too often the masses are lured into alert services and pump-n-dump chats.

The ThinkTank is the antithesis of that. It is clear, concise professionalism at work. A group of hard-working individuals with a common goal in mind. It quickly becomes apparent that success is the end result of a well-defined process, unlike what you’ll commonly hear from online marketing.

Your environment determines your standards in a big way. Online forums, reddit, twitter, etc etc…. will often encourage FOMO and are heavily dominated by mob mentality. Now if the many struggle to become profitable, it is important to understand which side of the line our actions push us towards.

Professionals challenge their own biases and refuse to strengthen anyone else's.

In the Thinktank, I quickly came to appreciate the ability that others have to analyze things objectively and mechanically. Markets go up, they go down. Some days are easy money. Other days, blood from a stone.

I was recommended the Opinicus Thinktank by a close friend who had been an active member for years at this point. He mentioned it was a focused group of real traders with all the bs cut out. Prior to joining Opinicusholdings, I was a predictor and anticipator of what the market was to do. I didn’t have proper rules of engagement and was at the mercy of the market. Needless to say, I wasn’t profitable and was almost quitting. Since joining opinicusholdings, I have learned to be patient and actually learned to trade. After a year and a half of frustration in another options trading group I stumbled into the Opinicus Holdings website on a random google search. I was very close at that point to giving up on the idea of being a full time trader. . My win rate was 50% at best and I was losing money and confidence in my trading by the day.
I can honestly say that since I have joined this group just over 3 weeks ago my trading has improved substantially along with my trading account. Opinicus Holdings is one of the few trading teams where you actually LEARN how to trade... About 4 months ago I had a very rough patch in my trading after sizing up too fast and market conditions changing causing me to take quite a few big losses. I decided to reach out to Kyle to seek out coaching and work 1on1 with him. In the past 4 months, I feel like I have been reborn as a trader. I'm new to options trading, and while I've learnt a lot about the theory from open sources, I needed to speak to someone about the mechanics and practice of actually trading, and how the options markets operate. In my opening session, Kyle provided invaluble answers to my questions and shared his knowledge on the topics related to this, eg spreads, liquidy, trading platforms and brokers and what they provide, your actual capacity to close positions, and, importantly, how to make buying and selling decisions and how to time your entries and exits.
