Faulty battery
I contacted powerkaddy to enquire if my faulty battery was still under warranty. They promptly confirmed it was and arranged for it's return & after inspection they replaced it for me in a matter of days. I corresponded with the same person & he was very helpful. Brilliant service. Forgot to mention James the powerkaddy contact, thank you.

PowaKaddy CT6 unreliable
My PowaKaddy CT6 18 hole lithium is unreliable, malfunctional and hence substandard. Purchased Sept 2021. In October 2025 and January 2026 I had to spend £215 on replacing the handle and the motor controller. So I assume this product will require significant repair expenditure regularly, hence my advice is to look at alternative brands.

FX5 less than 18 months old, the top handle/display screen stopped working and had to be replaced. The trolley is not the quality product I thought it would be.

Great Service
I have been playing golf for over 40 years, the last ten using a electric trolley at first the cheapest then purchased my first Powakaddy (worn that out) then purchased the CT6 this had been great until a week ago when it started making a lot of noise!
Could not believe how good the system was reference warranty fix, a box turned up at home rang Powakaddy again they arranged collection, less than a week later it was returned in full working order how simple 🥰
When done to all

Issue with FX3 Battery - Good customer service
I contacted PowaKaddy regarding an issue with my battery for the FX3.
Alan kept me updated via email and responded swiftly to my replies. He was also available via telephone when I had an issue with the courier who failed to turn up. This was escalated by PowaKaddy on my behalf and the battery was uplifted the next day.
The issue with the battery was identified and Alan advised that a replacement is on its way.
It was unfortunate that there was an issue with my battery, but it was dealt with promptly and with good customer service throughout.

Powerkaddy FX3 locking nut
I had a new electric trolley for Christmas, but unfortunately the height adjusting locking nut was broken. I contacted Powerkaddy and spoke to James, who couldn't have been more helpful. He posted the replacement that day and I received it very quickly, allowing me to play the next day! This was a seamless process and the replacement fitted perfectly.... Thanks to the expert efficiency of Powerkaddy and their staff, thank you James.

I own a CT8 but it's not what I'd hoped for
I own a CT8 which I have had for a year. It has been back once for a noisy motor, battery status light failure and also a sticky on/off switch. All fixed BUT the on/off switch is useless compared to Motocaddy. It's press and hope. It's easier to wind speed to zero.
The winter wheels are also a waste of time - they fill with mud and then become impossible to clean. I've resorted to buying some hedgehog wheels instead. I won't buy another Powacaddy.

Screeching CT6 trolley
After 6 months I returned my CT6 back to PowaKaddy as my trolley was crunching and screeching, it has since been back 4 more times each time being returned saying they couldn’t find a fault even although they have replaced the motor, gearbox etc, the past twice I could hardly take it out the box as it had so much axle grease on it, my trolley is now 18 months old and is worse than ever, I am extremely disappointed in the service
When any item is purchased and there is a fault the company gets 2 chances to repair after that it has to be replaced as the item is not fit for purpose

Ne surtout pas acheter le CT6.
Achat en 2020 (944€). Perd une roue en 2021 (Garantie), perd une autre roue en 2023(282€), variateur cassé en 2024 (220€) et à nouveau cassé en 12/2025 (j'attend une réponse !).
Vraiment bien déçu...
Powakaddy RX Remote Golf Trolley: A Hateful Machine
Nine months ago, in a moment of misplaced optimism, I retired my old and faithful Powakaddy Robokaddy and upgraded to the Powakaddy RX XL Plus Remote Golf Trolley. And I regret that decision. This review is written after nine months of use.
Before I go any further, I should say this: my regular playing partner Paul owns a Motocaddy remote trolley. It suffers from many of the same flaws. This leads me to suspect that a far-off Chinese factory is churning out the same cursed motors and remote-control systems. Paul does not recommend his trolley either, which feels like useful corroboration rather than comfort.
The single worst feature of the Powakaddy RX is the delay between pressing a button on the remote and the trolley responding. It’s not a slight hesitation—it’s long enough to make you question whether you actually pressed anything at all. By the time the trolley reacts, you’ve already overcorrected, so it lurches off in entirely the wrong direction. Steering becomes a constant cycle of understeer, oversteer, apology, and mild rage.
Direction changes are equally baffling. Instead of smoothly adjusting course while moving, the trolley insists on stopping completely, turning on the spot, and then setting off again. Why this thing cannot change direction fluidly while in motion is beyond comprehension.
Setting the trolley off in a straight line is an exercise in hope rather than engineering. Even on only slightly uneven ground, it lurches around like a drunken sailor on shore leave. The front wheel, theoretically there to provide guidance, does absolutely nothing to help.
Stability is another low point. The main wheels are set too close together, making the trolley alarmingly prone to tipping over. By comparison, the Motocaddy wheels are sensibly spaced further apart, which only adds insult to injury. There is an anti-tip wheel at the back, but it’s too short to be effective. It also folds underneath when the trolley is collapsed, which sounds clever until you realise the Motocaddy’s version can actually be extended and, you know, works.
I also bought the Powakaddy trolley bag to take advantage of the much-vaunted Mag-Lok system. This turned out to be less than useless. It simply does not work, which is impressive in its own way given how much effort went into marketing it.
When walking with the trolley and attempting to steer it manually, it has a worrying tendency to pull violently to the right, as if it’s desperately trying to escape into the nearest bunker or lake.
At 14kg, it’s not outrageously heavy on paper, but in practice I still find it an unwelcome lump when lifting it into the boot, especially after a round spent arguing with it.
To be fair—and fairness is important, even when reviewing a hateful machine—there are some positives.
The single-button release to collapse and unfold the trolley is good. The battery is relatively light, lasts a long time, and recharges quickly. The remote control itself is small, rechargeable, and fits neatly into a holster on the trolley. The range between the trolley and the remote is superb; it has never failed to respond due to distance, which is ironic given how often it fails to respond promptly. And mercifully, the trolley does not stop automatically after a set number of seconds—a feature on the old Robokaddy that I always found irritating.
Unfortunately, these positives are not enough. A remote trolley’s primary job is to go where you tell it to, when you tell it to, without behaving like it’s had one too many at the clubhouse bar. On that most basic requirement, the Powakaddy RX fails spectacularly.
If you’re considering one, my advice is simple: don’t.

Technical Issues
Unfortunately there have been a few issues with my FX7 so I have needed support from the technical team on more than one occasion. Daniel and the team have always responded quickly and taken the necessary action. My latest experience was marred by the poor collection and delivery service provided by DPD, hence the 3 star review but the tech team did their best to sort things out.

My lightly used CT6 failed when some 4 years old, which in itself is poor. But with some great help from Powercaddy technical department and advice on spares, this trolley and the fairways are once again reunited.

Battery failure
The battery on my Powakaddy FX5 stopped working and failed to charge after 4 years (minimal use on the course) and despite them offering an extended warranty when purchased, Powakaddy were not willing to assist in replacing the battery. Disappointing a product failed so early on, would have expected significantly longer considering it was used 6-8 times per year. Poor customer service. Would not recommend.

a PowaKaddy CT8 EBS.
I brought a PowaKaddy CT8 . It was a few days after the 2 yr warranty the wheel axel feel off and it had been stopping , Starting. An agent replaced a pin at no charge and it worked. A couple weeks later a noise in the right wheel appeared again and the speed button didn’t control the unit again and it stopped and started. The wheel came off again. Took it back and I was charged £140. Again a month later the same noise again. I had spoke to pk previously and just got it’s no under warranty. I hardly use the trolley. Once a week in Summer and Carry in winter. My course is a flat 9 holes too. I bought this trolley to last and turns out 2 years for over £1000. Pk CT8 EBS. Very upset and disappointed!
