Never buy from this site — especially if you're shipping to Malta
I spent a lot of time chatting with them before buying — probably too much. Their apparent availability and friendliness in the chat made me trust them. In the end, I paid almost €1,000 for a board that was listed at €688. Then they told me I had "misunderstood".
The real issue starts if you're in Malta. Their shipping policy clearly lists Malta as a destination included in the price. But once you go to checkout, suddenly there's an extra £24 fee. Then they jump in via chat and suggest that for “peace of mind,” most of their clients in Malta pay £104 for faster and safer delivery via DHL — supposedly to avoid import surprises.
So I paid it. But here's what actually happens: they don’t prepay VAT, and DHL ends up calling you asking for another €240 to release the board from customs. Yes, €240.
So in total, I paid £104 (~€120) + €240 = €360 just for shipping — for a board they said would be delivered without issue. That’s completely unacceptable, especially when I made it very clear that I was trying to avoid this exact situation.
I’ve lived in Malta for years — I know how this works, and that’s why I explicitly asked them for a final price, all inclusive. I thought we had an understanding.
Another thing: their chat system is deceptive. If you're inactive for a few minutes, the chat resets, and you lose the entire history — unless you’re them. They, of course, keep everything. So when I reported the problem, they suddenly came back with carefully selected chat excerpts that made them look right and me look wrong — skipping over the parts where they misled me.
If you're willing to risk this kind of experience, go ahead. The site looks nice, and the people in chat seem friendly — at first. But take a good look at the shipping options when checking out. And if you still see "Malta" as an available destination (they’ll probably remove it after this), remember what I said here and stop right there.
Do not buy from this site. Ever.
